  Right after the hail storm we contacted our insurance then BHI. My wife previously used BHI for a roof replacement over 15 years ago. They showed up on time, completed the work, very professional. We can't say that about this last experience. Rick showed up with our insurance adjuster, and did the walk around. Little did we know that would be the last time we saw him. We reached out twice via email with him replying everything good, finishing up the estimate on my side. Four weeks later, still no estimate. This was a complete waste of our time. We now have to start all over. Thanks Rick!!!!!!!

  I would not recommend this company for roof flashing repair around a chimney. Below standard workmanship.

  We just had our siding, soffit, fascia, and gutters redone and the experience has not been good. I did thorough research over multiple companies and felt that Barbera would be the best option given its high customer rating over the years and pleasant experience with Bob during the consultation. I’m not sure if it’s a result of the crew we had or volume of projects the company scheduled but the lack of communication on when crews will be coming, finished, or what to expect was and still is frustrating. The first day the crew did a good job cleaning up but the following days the yard was not thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day and we had to move their microwave they brought, tools, water bottles, etc. into the patio during a storm since they were left out, including a roll of house wrap they stated they didn’t have. We noticed house wrap was not applied on the back of the house and were told they didn’t receive enough material and would fix it. The next day the siding was all up and I was told they did a tear down and applied the house wrap. They stated they had photos. We noticed in certain holes not yet caulked there wasn’t visible housewrap and requested to see the photos. After being unable to provide evidence they ended up removing the siding from the back of the house and applying the house wrap that was never applied. Had I not been home that week I would not have even thought to check for this and wonder if I didn’t say anything would all of the siding have gone up without the material we paid for. I was told by a member of the crew that they were talking to Barbera about these issues and that they didn’t receive enough material. After the trim was applied in the front of the house it was completely wavy and unacceptable. I notified the crew lead about the problem who stated they would fix it and a week later received an invoice from Barbera. I called Barbera to inquire about how the work wasn’t finalized nor had anyone reached out yet I was receiving a

  They did a horrible job siding my garage. Some siding wasn’t secured, missed a few trim pieces and other trim work had just a few nails so it blew off in the wind. They had to come back three times to fix everything! Bob the salesman also lied and said they could get 5 inch siding, only to get a call later saying they couldn’t get it. *Edit- no idea why this company wants me to call their office? They already did the work and did a bad job- I won’t be using them ever again and I’m just trying to warn people. Unless they want to offer me a refund, their reply is just a fake response to act like they care

  P, thank you for the review. We offer many siding options in different shapes, sizes, and textures. I apologize that they do not make the particular product size and shape you were looking for. As for the siding piece coming off, we have a 10 year workmanship warranty that you can count on. If anything happens just call us and we are happy to take care of it.   The woman who I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and unpleasant to speak with. Enough said. —Look at the poor response from the owner. I understand the context of our phone call. That doesn’t provide context as to why the woman was a complete disgust. Because you already received an inquiry about the home I was interested in, that means give your worst customer service possible? Place is a joke. Go elsewhere!

I understand that you are purchasing the home and wanted us to give you a quote on the roof; however, the current homeowner had already called to get a quote.   The salesman was rude. He was Not willing to help me with my needs for repairing my garage . Argued with about past repairs that were done at my home. He acted as though my job was too small for Barbera Home Improvement. Very discussed with him and his attitude. I will now think twice about hiring Barbera again.

  Hi, Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry but we do not repair wood siding. We only install vinyl . The size of the job had nothing to do with it....We like small jobs and have 2 crews dedicated to small jobs. Also we provided you a reference to help you with your project. If the referral did not work out let us know and we will find another referral for you.   Call them twice over a 3 week. Looking for an estimate on my roof. Both times I was told I would get a call back from the project manager and I never heard from him. re: YOUR RESPONSE TO MY POST. I called that number on March 2nd at 109pm and it lasted 1min 56 seconds and March 9th at 103pm and it lasted 2 min 4 seconds so says the phone log in my cell phone. I found those by putting the phone number you listed in your response into the search of my cell phone log.

We always call or email back everyone even if we are not able to bid their project. Is it possible you have us confused with another company?   My wife and I just hired John today for a new roof and gutters plus gutter gaurds and new fascia . We got 3 estimates the first was very high the 2nd was really good but John crushed the others. We signed right there nothing to think about. Plus he was the only one that offered a 50 year shingles and 10 year labor warranty. I will follow up with another review with pictures when the job is completed. Update/ well our roof and gutters are installed now I know we made the right decision going with barbera home improvement. They went above a beyond on the install this roof will last 35 to 40 years without any issues. I watch them do our roof and I watched other neighbors get there's done by different company's there was no comparison to barbera roof how it was done much much better . I promise you will not go wrong with John and his company. I really don't do reviews only when it's deserving and BARBERA HOME IMPROVEMENT is the only company I will go with from now on . Thanks to all the employees who worked on our home .GREAT JOB. 10 stars

  BHI did our roof, gutters, giant bow window, siding and soffit and we couldn't be happier! Ted is absolutely amazing! He helped us see our home projects from beginning to end and is one of the kindest and most helpful person around! Every person we interacted with was professional, efficient and incredibly polite.   Barbera Home Improvement installed our new roof in just one day! We thought it would take longer because of our steep roof. Their experience, professionalism, and communication really moved the job along, and their teams communicated their progress to each other to ensure efficiency and satisfaction. Mike, the operations manager, did a great job organizing his crews and managing their progress. Juan’s and Candi’s work crews were dedicated, skilled craftsmen, experienced and efficient, and it showed. They were meticulous. We enjoyed watching them use magnets on rollers to check for any loose nails at the end of the day. Tony’s team came and installed our new gutters quickly and efficiently before the next day’s rain forecast. It’s a great sound, hearing water flowing through the downspouts. It was a great finish to their efforts. I was also glad we chose the gutter screens to eliminate my old ladders. Thank you and your team of skilled craftsmen. I highly recommend Barbera Home Improvement.

  Great company! The price was competitive and the communication regarding the date and time of service was well conveyed. The installers were respectful of our property and cleaned up any residual pieces parts from the old roof. 100% recommend using this company for your next roof repair/replacement.

  I just wanted to say mike Drockton is very professional and I have used this company to do my own house and a flip house. They removed and replaced the roofs and gutters. Both crews were very professional too. We were very satisfied from start to finish and plan on using Barbara in the future if any houses need roofs or gutters. Sincerely yours, Jeff grabel

  We selected Barbera Home Improvement to tear-off & replace three roofs on our property in August of 2025. I waited almost a year to write this review so that we could make sure that the shingles and work would survive all four Ohio seasons. They did the house, detached garage and small barn. Ron, our project manager did a great job with a No-Pressure sales call. He just explained the product, what the warranty included and what it did not, and answered all our questions. There was great communication throughout the process. He called us the night before the project was to take place to confirm that the crews would be arriving about 7:30am the next morning so we were ready. They arrived on time and got right to work and didn't stop until all was completed. The crew did a great job of cleaning up also. A year later and I have yet to find any partial shingle pieces, nails, etc. on the lawn and in the flower beds. We had obtained three other estimates. Barbera was not the least expensive, but the reasons we selected them were: 1) A friend had his roof replaced by them in Parma and eight years later he still has had no issues. 2) When I read the reviews, I was impressed the owner had taken the time to reply to most the reviews and more importantly any of the negative reviews. Alot of other businesses just ignore them. That showed me that they care. We highly recommend them and thank Ron, and the crew that were involved in the work.

  We had some siding repairs, gutter cleaning and gutters guards installed by Lawrence! His metal work was so clean and impressive instant refresh of the house! He was kind and made sure to clean up after he was done! Just a lovely experience! Lawrence really wanted the house to look amazing and I appreciated the quality service!!! I will definitely be coming back to barbera for my next project!
