STAY AWAY! For three months after the hurricane, I was made false promises that they were working on my project. After numerous phone calls, I found out they had not done anything. It took me one day to find an engineer and hire them to …

We are sorry to hear about the bad experience you had with us. Unfortunately the contract you had signed in order to get your roof work started required a down payment that was never given. Since the price for the patio build did not work for you and that portion of the roof would have required roof installation as well, not included in the original contract, we did not move forward with any work. To our understanding you wanted to get the patio build built in order to do the roof replacement altogether, resulting in the wait time. Difference in cost, we are a company and we do have company expenses to cover, includes workers comp insurance, general liability insurance, and other factors that take part in pricing, vs self/Home-builder, it is your own home and you may do as you wish to it. If everyone could do it themselves, they would, if they can - then we encourage them to. Sorry that L&V was not a good fit for you, but we have helped many and try our best to provide the best experience possible at a reasonable price. We try to be responsive at a timely manner and answer all questions honestly. We are a small business and strive to do better with each and every experience. Hopefully in the future we will meet up to your standards and pricing. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you. We wish you well.

I had L&V out a few years ago to repair my tile roof. They did a great job. So after my roof was destroyed by Ian I had them come and replace with a steel metal roof supplied by Overholt. We had problems right away. The first part of the roof was on the north side. It looks like a roller coaster. I called right away and was told that it was a truss problem and very costly to fix but no worries roof if is fine. All lies. When they installed the panels they toenailed them in and then came back later to finishing screwing them down. Between that and screwing down the panels through the ribs caused the panel to cup horizontally and roller coaster vertically. Next came the valleys. I noticed that when they laid the panels in the valleys they did not trim them and they were uneven.. No worries. They trimmed them after installing them and they do look better but the are not even and the edges are jagged. There is not a panel that is not scratched. Some are deep, some are long, and many are small and grouped together. I am not exaggerating. There are no panels that don’t have a scratch in them.I have pictures to back this up. I have had a licensed professional home inspect the roof . He stated it was the poorest quality job he had ever seen. I also had 3 roofing companies come out to see if this job could be repaired and saved. All 3 stated that if this roof isn’t leaking now it will be in the near future.. The fix. Rip it off and replace it. Vinnie stated to me that he would refund all my money by Friday August 11th. Never happened. I think it is hilarious but if you spread out the picture on L&V site and look close in the metal valley you will see that some of the panels are cupped and not laying flat in the valley. Not as bad as mine but it’s there.

I wanted to take a moment to thank Vinny for taking time out of his busy day to come & help me & my family by placing a tarp on my roof when it started leaking right above my granddaughters bed!! His wife saw my post & neither of them hesitated in making sure that our issue was taken care of!! He did this out of the kindness of his heart & said he just wanted to pay kindness forward!! He is a an honest, trustworthy & stand up gentleman who will treat you with respect & take care of your repairs quickly!! If we had more local companies like his the world would be a better place!! And I guarantee you that if you hire his company you will not be disappointed!! Thank you again Vinny, your help meant more than you know!! And I pray that God blesses you & your company for the kindness you have given to me & my family!!
