  Last October when the hurricane went through, we had a tree fall in the roof. We were contacted by Josh A roofing who got out info from our insurance. They did okay, yet we had several issues. We had our ladders taken and only returned after we told them we have camera footage. Then we were told one thing for final bill and insurance would be charged, yet got the bill. My husband had been dealing with them without resolution. I called and was angry and let them know it. I shouldn't have to get that way. The recent rains from last weekend we discovered our roof still leaks even though we got a brand new roof in October. My husband called and reported it. No resolution. He was told they'd call him back. It's been a week, no response. One star because they are prompt when they want their $$. They also never repaired the windshield on my car where I found a chip in it and nails in the lip with the wiperblades sit. Beware and go for another roofer.

We don’t believe it is, but went ahead and sealed up your pipes even more to be 100% sure it is not the reason. We will continue to work with you as needed with this situation.   Check the Better Business Bureau Dayton, Ohio, for a review of this roofing company. I am able to show the poor quality of this company with photos. There are many more photos showing poor workmanship

  I do not recommend this company. On June 18th, they sent a crew (subcontractors) to replace our roof—none of whom spoke English, which made communication extremely difficult. Just a few hours into the job, a thunderstorm passed through. The crew quickly tarped the roof and left during the 11 o'clock hour, without saying whether they would return. We had to reach out ourselves, only to be told they weren’t coming back that day. This left us with no roof—just a poorly secured tarp. Later that evening, another storm rolled in. I woke up to rainwater pouring into my living room, soaking the furniture and carpet. Some of the workers did return to adjust the tarp. This likely could have been avoided if they had simply returned after the first storm to continue the job or at least made sure the tarp was properly secured. Two days later, a large section of our ceiling collapsed. In addition to that, one small section of gutter was supposed to be replaced—but even that turned into a hassle. We had to follow up multiple times, only to hear vague responses like “I’ll get in touch with so-and-so and let you know.” Almost two weeks after the roof was finished, someone was finally scheduled to fix the gutter between 4 and 6 PM. Our security camera showed he arrived at 6:30, stayed for just a few minutes, then left—only to return at 8:30 PM. He rang the doorbell, waking me up, and then said he couldn’t do the job because he didn’t have the right parts. It took another two days before the job was finally completed. This company has terrible communication, uses subcontractors who don’t communicate with homeowners, and left us dealing with unnecessary damage and stress. I would not use them again.

  Went above and beyond to come out on a very stormy day after hours to fix my gutters and helped fix part of my siding near the roof that was coming loose. Reasonable prices! I recommend this business! Great job Josh A Roofing!

  Josh A Roofing LLC is a top roofing company in my book. Lane was absolutely a breath of fresh air. He was honest, timely, and courteous. He said he would be back on a certain day and even showed up 15 minutes early. I truly wish more vendors had this type of work ethic!!

  I highly recommend Josh A Roofing! From our very first interaction to the completion of our project, the entire experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. We first contacted them in October 2025 to assess storm damage and provide an estimate. From the beginning, they were confident in helping us navigate the insurance process and believed our home qualified for a full roof replacement. Once we filed our claim, they handled all of the communication and back-and-forth with our insurance company, making the process incredibly easy for us. At one point, severe rain was in the forecast, and I reached out at the last minute requesting an emergency tarp. They responded quickly without hesitation or giving us the runaround, which gave us great peace of mind. Fast forward to April 2026, and our entire roof was replaced in just two days. Their crew was knowledgeable, hardworking, and took the time to answer every question we had throughout the project. A special thank you to Drew, who was our primary point of contact. He was always responsive, professional, and kept us informed every step of the way. We also had some interior damage in our primary bedroom, and Josh A Roofing connected us with the right professional to complete those repairs as well. Everything was handled seamlessly. If you’re looking for a roofing company that truly advocates for its customers, communicates well, and delivers quality work, I would absolutely recommend Josh A Roofing.

  We had Josh A. Roofing do our windows, siding, gutters and roof. Jeff Whittridge was our salesman. He was very personable answered all of our questions. They did a really good job with the siding, roof, windows and gutters. We did have some communication issues where work had to be redone. This also caused a delay in completion of the work. Jeff and Josh worked really hard to help rectify the issues they were all fixed and all of the work was done correctly. They're roofing team came out and was able to do our entire roof in 1 day tear off and completion they did a really good job of cleaning up. They're window gutter and siding team did an really good job. Roger and his team were very knowledgeable, courteous and extremely hard-working. If we where do more work in the future we would use them again.
