Was quoted 38k for our flat roof, but ended up paying 53k but were not told about the extra charges until after the work was done.. Said they were moving the drain pipes but they only were moved a foot or so, after the snow melted there were huge puddles on the roof because the drains weren’t moved to low areas. Also they changed the drain pipes on the ground so one is draining toward our house. They said they would come back and clean up after themselves once the snow melted, but they never came, even left a bunch of gravel mixed with tar all over our lawn and flower beds. They also left broken glass in our backyard. I have to say our roof doesn’t leak now, but I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the recent roofing project at your property. We understand your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to address them in detail. Firstly, regarding the cost of the project, we want to clarify that the original quote of $38,000 was based on the information available at the time. However, during the project, we discovered several unforeseen structural integrity issues that needed to be addressed when your roof caved in durring the removal of your solar panels. When we spoke with your husband after the roof collapsed and told him how significant the additional work as going to be he completely understood that the hidden damage couldn't have been foreseen as that area was covered by solar panels. There was evidence that the previous homeowner had "repaired" a significantly damaged portion of the roof area with a product designed for bathroom tile installation. These issues continued to get worse when we found two layers of saturated fibreboard insulation on top of wet plywood, significant mold growth, These issues required remediation to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of your property. Regarding the changes made to the drain pipes, we had a conversation with you during a site visit about the modifications we proposed to enhance the drainage system. At that time, there was no objection to these changes, and we proceeded based on your approval. Your review did not make mention of the siding repair we also did for you while we were there. as you are fully aware the siding on your home is severely damaged in all areas except for where we replaced a section to make sure the leaks from the wall system didn't impact your brand new roof system. Regarding the cleanup after the project, we apologize for any delay in scheduling the team to return. Our intention was to complete this as soon as possible after the snow melted. We have a list of our winter installs that require spring cleans and you property was /is

Parked at Costco Winterburn, couldn't help but notice the truck parked on a fire lane with 4 ways on but truck not running, I go in grab 3 things, as im walking by good court I see a company hoodie or a jacket same insignia sitting enjoying a meal in the Costco Cafeteria. That is not parking for food, so grabbed a pic on way out for you

I couldn't agree with you more. Truth be told I kindi of forgot it was even parked there. I was returning a large item and needed assistance from the Costco staff to unload it. I walked into the store with them and was in line for about 25 mins. Some friends messaged me to join them for a hotdog when i was done. When I came out of the store I was like 👀 oh no I left the truck siting there the whole time. It wasn't an intentional and I do feel bad about it. I'm not even surprised that someone call me out on it either.

I was helping a friend with their commercial flat roof emergency from the start. I contacted a few local builders and a roofer in our community. They said I would have to go to Edmonton for commercial flat roof replacement. After a quick Google search for commercial flat roof contractors in Edmonton, we came across Iron Shield Roofing and they had many good reviews. Owner Cory & Manager Mario was going to provide us an approximate estimate, but after viewing the building from a satellite feed and realizing the urgency of the situation, they drove down from Edmonton to Wainwright for a closer inspection and provide a more accurate estimate. Within days of approving the quote, Damir and his crew showed up when the delivery of materials arrived. They worked early mornings and some late evenings to ensure it was done before our next major snowfall or rainfall. They were courteous and mindful and cleaned up after the site after each day. Cory & Mario did come by a day before the roof portion was done. Today, less than 2 weeks after the roof was complete, the metal trim company completed the job. This crew was here for the day and was also pleasant to deal with. Any questions I had during the process, Mario answered in a timely manner. We are pleased with this company so far, and will update this post in the future. Be sure to request "The Damir Team" at Iron Shield Roofing for your commercial flat roof replacement. ~ Tuan Lieu.
