  If you want a leaky roof, have Imperial Roofing do your roof. We had our roof replaced because of its age and not because of leaks. Now we have leaks, and Imperial does not want to fix... I had to know they were shady when they were looking for final payment before the job was complete.

  Somehow our response from 6 years ago was removed: We’re shady company? Let’s get to the bottom of it. On April 16 2015 we replaced your roof and gutters. Seven months later on Thanksgiving weekend Friday you called us about your chimney leak - we were there within 1 hour, we came back next morning bright and early, we took apart siding around chimney, we found water was coming from the top of chimney. We took pictures and showed you right away. Brick chimney was wrapped with vinyl siding and no solid concrete chimney cap, someone put old aluminum flashing and silicone it as a chimney cap - totally inappropriate for this style of chimney. You showed us your rusted tools in dry no-water damaged box that rusted tools were in it, If it was fresh leak that cardboard box would be wet and damaged. Anyone interested in pictures we can show pictures of top chimney and you judge yourself if we’re shady or not. When we presented evidence of your chimney leak origin, it was not our fault just old cracked chimney cap. As a courtesy we could fix the issue fairly easy by adding new concrete chimney cap, but you decided to be aggressive, your language was abusive, you used racist name calling towards all of us - we just simply left because your behavior was out of line. Take care.

  Prior response was deleted. Joanna, since you live an hour away an appointment was scheduled for next day anytime, we were there next day as we scheduled, we advised you that proposal will be emailed by end of the day on Friday. 3pm on that Friday you left us review.

  We had Imperial Building & Roofing replace our roof, and they did an awesome job. The crew was friendly, showed up when they said they would, and kept everything clean while they worked. The whole process was smooth, and the quality of the work really exceeded our expectations. After having some disappointing experiences with a couple of the bigger-name companies around Ann Arbor, it was refreshing to work with a team that actually cared about doing the job right. They were honest, professional, easy to communicate with, and never made us feel pressured. I’d definitely recommend Imperial Building & Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

  I had imperial building and roofing complete some chimney siding and flashing work on my home, I was very happy with the results. The crew was professional, showed up when they said they would, and paid attention to the details. The new siding looks great, and the flashing was installed properly. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. I was informed about every single step of the process.
