  My experience with Ideal Precision Roofing and Dustin Pozan was disappointing. From the start, communication felt rushed and unorganized. Dustin seemed friendly but overly pushy, and while he talked a lot about his experience, the inspection missed a few key problem areas that another roofer later pointed out. The price seemed competitive at first but ended up being higher once additional “unexpected” costs were added. On installation day, the crew arrived late, left a mess in my yard, and didn’t finish until well after dark. The cleanup was poor — I found several nails in my driveway. Overall, I expected a much more professional experience and better attention to detail.

  The worker could only handle what he could safely reach because he lacked the necessary safety gear. He used numerous screws and two or more caulk tubes on different places. Additionally, Jennifer said she would speak with an Ideal representative, took down my phone, and promised to get in touch. I still haven't gotten a thorough explanation of my warranty, and communication is still lacking. My 4-year-old roof's warranty has expired, and I've gone from being really happy to feeling abandoned and irritated. Another roofing firm is coming to assess my issues and address any that they discover. As a fellow veteran who first selected this organization due to their honesty and similar principles, I can't

  Neither Ideal nor Precise – New Roof Installation 9/11/2025 I recently hired Ideal Precision Roofing for a full roof replacement.
The roof is complete and I paid in full after the job was finished. Unfortunately, several issues reduced my overall satisfaction: Scheduling & product change – The installation date shifted from Wednesday to Thursday without much notice. More importantly, the sales rep. originally planned to use a Cobra ridge vent, but the roof pitch exceeded that product’s specs.
 They switched back to turbines and painted on site. 
Had the pitch been checked earlier, the correct-color turbines could have been ordered. Installation quality concerns- • Rain diverters were installed after the main job and ended up too low, mismatched in shape (one square, one curved), and less effective. • Exhaust jacks: They are not vertical and a few are backwards with exposed rivets that couldn’t be painted. Lowering curb appeal and aesthetics. • One roof penetration never received storm-guard protection increasing the risk of ice and water penetration. • Some edge shingles were rough cut (later corrected). Collateral damage & cleanup – • Installing plumbing jacks/exhaust caps pulled a bathroom fixture through the sheetrock ceiling. This will cost me extra time and money to have them repaired by someone else. A contract clause states Ideal Precision Roofing bears no responsibility. • Drip rails were dented in several spots from ladder use and loading. • The site was left with red drink stains on the carport. “Roof-top snack break” raised concerns about care for the new roof surface. A neighborhood ice cream truck drove by and the crew had their snacks on the new roof. Overall, the roof functions, but the attention to detail, product planning, and site management fell short of expectations for a major home investment. I recommend future customers request advance verification of product suitability and insist on correct-color components when substitutions arise.

While we’re disappointed to see your updated review, we’re grateful for the opportunity to respond honestly and openly—and to hopefully rebuild the trust you initially placed in us. We understand your concern regarding the separation of flashing and the condition of the caulking. What you described is a common maintenance item on metal roofs—specifically due to natural sun exposure and heat expansion over time. It’s not a reflection of workmanship failure, which is what our warranty is designed to cover (i.e., leaks or installation defects). That said, our goal has never been to hide behind warranty language—we want to help. Even though your concern fell outside the scope of the warranty, we dispatched our technician to your property to caulk the affected areas and resecure counter flashing. In fact, our team went above and beyond by also addressing additional spots on site that you identified. Our notes show that our crew was out on Friday, April 4th, less than 48 hours after we first reviewed the situation internally. They were equipped, briefed, and focused on assisting as best as possible. You also mentioned feeling ignored or left without follow-up. After reviewing our internal communication timeline, we can confirm that your Facebook message was first seen late in the evening of April 2nd. From there, our team began coordinating immediately the next morning—April 3rd—with multiple calls and planning conversations before making official contact and sending help. It’s possible that our communication didn’t come across as clearly as intended in those early stages, and for that, we genuinely apologize. Perception matters, and we never want a customer to feel neglected. Additionally, we received and reviewed the third-party roofer’s report you referenced.   When leaks started to develop, they refused to respect the guarantee that I had been promised for the roof. They continued to dodge my calls and make excuses. They obviously do not support their efforts. I am sorry I picked them for this significant assignment.

  We don’t work in Thailand. When I find out who you are I am going to punish you to the full extent financially. My team is excellent and it’s only a matter of time till the tables are turned .   You never know what you're going to get whenever you begin conversations with a new contractor. I could not have hoped for a better roofer to arrive at my door than Mr. Jeff Beasley. He feels like a trusted friend immediately, and you get the sense that he genuinely cares about doing what is best for you. As long as he is around, I do not intend to give business to any other roofer other than Ideal Precision Roofing. I hired them after a bad experience with a different contractor. The diagnosis that I received from Jeff made a lot of sense, and the ultimate price point was not as alarming as I had feared. Even though there was some more severe damage found whenever the work began, the cost was still kept at a reasonable rate, and I feel confident that the issue was properly addressed. Working with Jeff and Ideal Precision Roofing was such a refreshing experience, and it has restored my faith that there are still contractors who put the customer first.

  Arturo came out to inspect a possible leak and was able to identify flaws with the flashing install. He did a quick patch up and the issue was resolved on the spot, good thing too, it rained again and I didn’t have any issues. Highly recommend Ideal if you have any issues.
