Called to get a quote. Scheduled inspection. On the day of inspection reached out to confirm their arrival. No answer. No response. Dodges calls. Some kind of response would have been ideal.

The roof itself appears fine. The process around it was deeply frustrating. Before work even began, I had to escalate concerns because what was described early on, including the likelihood of gutters being handled through insurance , did not match the numbers that were later presented. That required clarification before moving forward. After the roof was completed, I reached out to get a final invoice. I did not receive one. Then there was silence for nearly six months. When billing finally resurfaced, there was no explanation for the delay and no acknowledgment that I had previously tried to close the account. Instead, I received a payment link for an amount that was dramatically different from what had been agreed upon. No context. No reconciliation. Just a link. I had to rely on documented text messages confirming the original agreement in order to get the invoice corrected. After continued follow-up, the balance was revised. I spoke to 4 people to fix the final balance due. Even in the dispute process, no one from Bondoc was communicating with each other. Only after the amount was corrected did formal payment timelines and collection language appear. That sequence is what made this experience so frustrating. As a homeowner, I should not have to protect myself with saved text messages or reconcile shifting numbers 6 months after a project is complete. If you work with this company: Get EVERY agreement in writing before work begins. Do NOT rely on verbal assurances. Save EVERY text and email. Push for a final invoice immediately and follow up persistently. The roof may turn out fine. Just understand that the administrative process may require far more effort than it should.

I did not and now I will never do business with them. There’s a nice sign under my doorbell that says “No Soliciting”. Orion knocked on the door and I did not answer as my baby was sleeping and then he rang the doorbell which my sign also …

As a new homeowner, I really wanted this process to go smoothly, and at first, it seemed like it would. When I spoke with Adrian, he was kind, understanding, and thorough—he pointed out issues that another roofer hadn’t, which gave me confidence in choosing Bondoc Roofing. Unfortunately, the customer service after that was disappointing. I had to wait a few weeks for approvals, and during that time, Matthew Gutierrez reached out a few times but then stopped responding. When I called the office, I was told someone would contact me, and eventually, Andy Cruz reached out. Andy was polite at first, but communication quickly became frustrating. He preferred texting, and even when he said he’d call back, I often had to follow up myself. I tried to be accommodating and stick to text since that seemed to work better for him, but I never felt fully informed about what was happening. Workers showed up and left without explaining what was done or what still needed to be completed. When I asked Andy, he said they weren’t finished and would need to come back—but no one ever communicated that directly to me. The same thing happened again the next day. I asked for photos and updates several times. Andy said he had sent them, but it turned out my email address had been misspelled. Once that was corrected, I did receive the photos. Still, the communication overall was disorganized and left me unsure what to expect. After it rained, I noticed a musty smell and was told to check the attic and vents that had been worked on. I texted Andy about it, and he said he’d send someone out, but that never happened. I followed up and even asked if Adrian could come by to check, and Andy said he’d arrange it—but again, nothing. At this point, I’m worried there may be a leak or problem with the work that hasn’t been addressed. Because of the lack of follow-up, I can’t confidently recommend Bondoc Roofing right now, though I appreciated Adrian’s professionalism in the beginning.

This business has absolutely no respect for people or their time, and they are way overpriced. I recently had shingles replaced on my roof, and they left a lot of trash in my yard, including nails. Two nails ended up in my tires, and they have taken zero accountability. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Avoid this company at all costs!

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Our team made every effort to provide exceptional service. We did three separate visits for magnet sweeps for a $600 repair that was done on the back of your home. Our team heavily discounted your repair twice for the flat tire and another for the inconvenience. We understand that even though we put our best foot forward, we did not meet your expectations and we are ok with that —The Bondoc Roofing Team

In my opinion I didn’t feel like a priority at all was quoted high initially. In my opinion they made it clear they didn’t want my business based on how long it took to lock in an appointment date and then the time it took to complete the job. I got frustrated and they tried to lecture me on my communication as if I were an employee. There are a Lot of options in San Antonio I feel better served Else where.

Bondoc Roofing provided very expedient and professional service from their customer service to the actual roofing repairs. It was an all-around successful experience and the pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend them for anyone who requires roofing repairs and replacement. If applicable, then I would give them 10 stars. Thanks Bondoc and until the next time, but fingers crossed that it won’t be necessary lol!
