I found this business thinking it was local to the Southend Boston. It is not...just the telephone number is. Dennis Tchernov came to look at my problem (he certainly didn't come prepared to fix it on the spot). He looked at it for a …

Like many older buildings in Brookline, ours had a heat-absorbent black EPDM rubber roof that was prone to issues. Denis and his team removed the rubber roof and an old wooden floating deck that was decaying on top. After replacing the insulation underneath the roof, they redid the entire surface with a white reflective IB PVC membrane — and then created a new deck comprised of walkable IB DeckShield plus composite railings. The resulting roof deck is an amazing outdoor space! No need to worry about leaks, summer heat absorption, or high-maintenance wooden decking. Denis stands by his work and treats customers like lifelong clients. Highly recommend him if you are looking to upgrade your flat roof or update your roof deck!

Thank you for taking the time to share such a fantastic review! I’m Denis Tchernov, and it was a pleasure leading the IDFlat Roof team to replace the flat roof on your JP triple decker, swapping out the old rubber for a fresh White PVC roof. I’m thrilled to hear you were happy with everything - from our communication to the final result. I always aim to offer competitive pricing, so I’m glad that stood out compared to the other companies you considered. Keeping you updated with calls, texts, and drone photos of the flat roof progress, especially when we hit that unexpected wood decking issue, was a priority for me. I’m glad we could quickly find a solution and keep things moving smoothly. It’s an honor to earn your trust as the manager of Arborview Realty, and I’d be delighted to work with your clients in the future. Permits, paid receipts, and all - I’m proud we delivered exactly what I promised. Thanks again for the kind words!

I highly recommend ID Flatroof for Roof repair and replacement; Denis and his team provided a prompt and professional scope of work from the start. As The team came in they were very communicative and responsive; they provided assessments of issues and best approach as needed. They worked hard and completed the project quickly and efficiently. We received pictures of the work and video, they removed all debris and were respectful of neighbor's and property; it's tight quarters in the city! Town Inspection was passed and work completed without issue. Very pleased with the results, never looked better with new bright flat roof and skylight and best of all...no leaks thereafter with the rainstorms this summer!

I called ID Flat Roof in Boston for a rubber roof leak. Denis quickly assessed the situation and identified the problem was just with the ventilation pipe, not the entire roof. He recommended replacing the pipe and adding an elbow cap to solve the issue. I'm impressed by Denis's honesty and expertise - he provided a cost-effective solution instead of pushing for unnecessary repairs. His professionalism saved me time and money. I highly recommend ID Flat Roof for their exceptional service and integrity. I will be sure to use ID Flat Roof again if needed. Thank you, Denis and ID Flat Roof, for your outstanding work and customer care.

We received a free quote, and it turned out that our roof was fine. Denis took a video of our problem (it was a siding issue), and helped us find a contractor to call. Absolutely amazing service. I’m only going back to them if I really do need something roofing related.

We own a 24 unit apartment building for around 20 years. Roof was done 18 years ago and it was an ongoing struggle, new leak almost every month. Ordered to do a new roof to ID Flat Roof Company. What ID did is a state of the art roof, pictures attached. Excellent craftsmanship, superb work ethic. They said roof will be ready within 2 weeks and it was. Highly recommend this roofing company. Greg.
