Using AI instead of people? Really? I've been trying to speak to someone from the company but they have this terrible awful AI chatbot answering the phones instead of an actual person. It's super gross and won't let you talk to a human. Why would you ever use AI to speak to a customer?? Absolutely will not do business with them now.

    Reply from the business

Dear DH, We’re sorry you had this experience. We actually have a team of over 34 people, and we absolutely want our customers to be able to speak with a real person. Our AI assistant only picks up when our team is already on other calls. We understand it can be frustrating, and we appreciate the feedback. We would be happy to speak with you directly.

Great until you need a callback! R.B. Farina markets itself and is priced as a premium roofing company which is supposed to entail premium workmanship and customer support. They were very happy to take on the initial gutter work in 2024 (second job after 2023 work) but I didn't realize they damaged part of my roof in the process. I didn't notice for a while (I'm not on my roof often) but once I did someone came to take a look and agreed it had damaged the rubber roofing. Since then I’ve called and messaged multiple times over the course of a week trying to reach a manager about getting it fixed. I still haven't received a callback. The only response I've gotten is a quote for an additional $880 to repair the damage they caused. Edit: RB Farinas response to this is factually incorrect. Take their other responses with a grain of salt.

    Reply from the business

Dear Dion, After reviewing our records, we would like to clarify that the work RB Farina Roofing performed at your property was a gutter installation, completed approximately three years ago. We did not perform a roof replacement or roof repair at your home. After you contacted us, we promptly sent one of our roofing specialists to inspect the area you mentioned. Following a thorough inspection, we were unable to identify any issues related to the gutter work we completed three years ago so we gave you a quote to repair the area as needed. We always stand behind our workmanship and are committed to treating every concern seriously. We appreciate the opportunity to inspect the property and provide our professional assessment. The issue with the roof has notthing to do with the gutters installed 3 years ago. Sincerely, RB Farina Roofing & Construction

They lost a loyal and consistent future customer Although they did a good job the after math wasn’t they left multiple nails on my up hill drive way, it punctured my tires in the morning after and left me a great inconvenience I tried to talk to them to maybe in return get a small discount on my third payment but they refused and calling back saying it wasn’t their nails (obviously it’s the nails from my old gutter that should have been cleaned up when they removed them and not left on all 4 sides of my driveway). These nails where scattered throughout all 4 sides of my house and I had to deal with my neighbor complaining all morning im not trying to get a free gutters lol but at least knock off a 100$ for making me have to go get my tire patched and make it right

Roberto, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your overall experience after the installation left you disappointed. We understand how frustrating it is to deal with an issue like this, especially after a project has been completed. While we're glad you were satisfied with the quality of the work itself, we're sorry we weren't able to leave you with a better overall experience. We appreciate your feedback and will continue using it to improve. – RB Farina Roofing Co.

We hired them to replace our roof that had filed after the winter storms. Sales was great and that’s where it ended. After the job was done I found they tossed 6 sheets of plywood I was charged $150 a sheet for to re do the structural sheeting on the home. Instead of leaving it or crediting it, it was thrown away, $900 of my money in the trash. When I removed the plywood I found empty beer bottles that they had apparently consumed during lunch. That raised some red flags. After going in my attic to see how it looked I found they had removed all the soffit baffles and left them thrown around the attic, making the ventilation problem we were having that much worse. After closer inspection they had missed around 100 nails holding the sheeting down, that’s structural. They company had to come and remove the entire roof and try again. They office manager demanded we show her video of the crew drinking, she stated it was trash from them cleaning out the truck. They were here in a company van, clearly naked with the company logo. So they are allowed to drink in work vehicles, or on the job. If I had known before that they allowed this kind of behavior on a job site, especially people up 30ft on my roof being inebriated, I would have never hired them. If you book this company, I can not stress enough, get it inspected, and apparently you need to get cameras as well. Never contacted by anyone but the salesmen to apologize about what had happened. I regret hiring RB Farina Roofing for my roof project. The company presented very professionally during the sales process (drone images, detailed overview, etc.), which gave me confidence moving forward with a nearly $33K project. Unfortunately, the experience after signing the contract was very different. The project was contracted in October and expected to move within a reasonable timeframe, but the permit process stalled, and I ultimately had to get involved myself to push it forward. Work did not begin until January, followed by additional delays and inconsistent communication. Communication was the biggest issue throughout. I often received invoice follow-ups more reliably than actual updates on work status. There were also instances where the property was accessed without clear notice, and after one visit, I found the building left unsecured, which raised serious tenant safety concerns. After being told the job was complete, I still had concerns based on what I could see from the ground. I ended up hiring an independent roofing professional (at my own cost) to assess the work. That review identified items that needed to be corrected. To the company’s credit, some of those items were addressed after being raised, but I should not have had to pay for a second professional just to confirm whether a $33K job was done correctly. The job finally closed and payment rendered in March. (neary 6 months after contracted) Overall, the company performed much better in sales than in execution, communication, and project management. My advice to anyone considering them: – get everything in writing – verify all work independently before final payment – do not rely on verbal assurances for closeout – do not let them bully or harass you to close and pay I cannot recommend them based on my experience. Just one person's truth. Good luck! Im interested to see response to this review- everything here is accurate and true. Hoping the professionalism shows here.

Made an appt for a quote 2 days ago, got a confirmation text an hour before my appt no one showed up, “oh we tried to to reach you to cancel” my phone hasn’t rung I haven’t received a message left me waiting for literally nothing. This place is incredibly unprofessional.

RB Farina recently replaced all of our gutters and downspouts, and the fascia boards behind them on our c. 1890 home. The entire process was seamless from quote to coordination to project completion. Hendrigo as the project manager was clear, responsive, and communicated wonderfully with us throughout the process. I would highly recommend RB Farina to anyone looking to have any gutter work done on their home.

I just had a full roof replacemant done in Brookline MA by Farina which included both vertical and flat roof surfaces. The pre-sales and proposal process was excellent and was followed by timely and very professional execution of the job. They left no trace... I highly recommend this company.

When you are looking for candidates for your roof repair, the most important thing is not someone who knows how to fix it. The most important thing is to find someone who has professional integrity and honesty to tell you when your roof doesn’t need repairing. My insurance company was trying to compel me to fix some allegedly lifting shingles so I asked RB Farina to estimate. I am glad I did that, because they sent Jair and he took a good look at my roof and told me that in his professional opinion it doesn’t need to be repaired. He took a photo with his drone camera and I sent that photo to my insurance company. Upon seeing the photo, the underwriter agreed and retracted their demands and I get to keep my $$ in my pocket. I am grateful to Jair and RB Farina and I will always call them for my roof jobs. Thank you Jair and RB Farina!

I am extremely happy with the work in completing a new roof. From the beginning of getting an estimate, everything was explained to me in detail what was needed to get done. Kevin was amazing calling me and keeping me posted with the job. Very impressed with all the workers installing my new roof. They were hard-working worked hard in completing the job in one day. I’m extremely happy and impressed how they cleaned everything up and put everything back as it was. I would recommend Farina to do your next job! All my neighbors gave me compliments how beautiful the roof looks. Thank you again for a beautiful job.
