Soffit and fascia are separate line items from a roof replacement, and our team is trained to walk through each element clearly before anything is signed. We also want to clarify that financing terms, including billing timelines, are determined by the lender upon approval and are outlined in the financing agreement at the time of signing.   I would not recommend Home Genius based on my experience. From the beginning, communication and project management were disappointing. My roof installation took two full days, yet the project manager, Bradd, was only on-site for about two hours on the first day. I was then told he would not be returning for the second day because there was a "bigger job" elsewhere—even though my project was already experiencing issues. One of my biggest concerns was safety. After the first day, the crew left exposed nails, shingles, and other hazardous debris throughout my yard. I specifically discussed my concern about nails with the project manager because I have a dog, but the issue was not addressed. They also left numerous nails in my driveway, more than 30 feet away from the dumpster, making it clear that cleanup was not thorough. The crew also caused unnecessary property damage. They damaged plants in my raised garden bed located underneath my carport, left my fenced gate open, damaged three of my 2 week old window air conditioning units, and disconnected my exterior gutters without reconnecting them or even notifying me. When I raised these concerns, I was told I would receive a discount because of the problems. However, two weeks after the project was completed, I still hadn't received any information about the amount or how the discount would be applied. I reached out to the project manager, who read my message but never responded. I eventually had to contact another employee just to get an answer. Overall, the workmanship on the roof is acceptable, but the project management, communication, cleanup, and respect for my property were far below what I expected from a professional roofing company. The lack of accountability and poor communication throughout the process made what should have been a straightforward roof replacement a frustrating experience.

  If you can choose someone else, choose them instead. They didn't do a bad job on our roof but some of the work didn't get done. The roofers weren't very professional. Clean up after the job was done was terrible. Do your homework before you choose them

  I agreed to get a free quote, when the guy came to my door last week. Scheduled a guy to come today Sunday 1/4/26. The guy assured me that they won’t be calling me at all besides for the one time the day before to confirm. Lo and behold I got multiple calls and texts from them, first to try to reschedule me for an earlier date, second, I don’t even know since it was a bad time for me to talk and i told the lady that it was a bad time since I was in the middle of something but she had so much disrespect and continued with her questions, saying this will be quick (I picked up because I thought she was calling to confirm which shouldn’t take more then a few seconds, and that was ok). She wanted to know if we just wanted the roof inspected even though I had already told them I want the whole exterior done as well. Then she went on rambling about something of not having sports games or something, I interrupted her again saying it was a bad time for me to talk, we have nothing else scheduled for that time so we’ll be home, I’ll see their guy on Sunday and hung up. In the meantime I continued getting text messages from them letting me know of my upcoming appointment at 10. But I had scheduled it at 12 not at 10 so not sure what that was about. Then finally this morning, the day the guy was supposed to come, I get a call that they have to cancel due to not having a guy being able to come out or something idk and if they ever do get someone they’ll call me to reschedule, makes no sense. Anyways, they lost a potential customer before they even started.

  We had a roof installed by this company. When it was finished, the color, which was supposed to match or be close to a dark charcoal gray, was a light silver gray. They said we picked the color and signed the contract. The workers also left debris from the job everywhere. They also stomped on flowers in my flower bed. We were very disappointed in the color of the roof and the entire experience. We would not recommend this company.

  I was suppose to have gutters replaced. Was scheduled a day and time on Tuesday Oct 28,2025. No show. Called main number , then call back said men had flat tire....would be here Oct 29, 2025 at or before noon. Again all day no show no calls. I again had to call main number. Then and only then did I get a call. Then. BRADD said he had a conversation with me later saying he told me weather permitting. That was not the conversation. Getting a refund. Would not recommend at all. For several reasons take deposit and no show no call and then lie to cover their mistake.

  I would for sure recommend Home Genius Exteriors for any Home improvement project. Our project manager Sergey Cook kept us well informed during our roof job over the two day period and worked with us on any issues that came up. They also installed some roof vents and now my attic isn't super hot in the summer anymore. The crew cleaned up after the job was done and my roof looks great now. Can't thank Sergey and the team enough for the help.
