  I'm not the type of person that leaves poor reviews, but after seeing the way an employee drives with complete disregard for the safety of others, I will certainly not use Gateway General Contractors or recommend them to my family and friends. You would think if you were driving a truck with your business plastered all over it you wouldn't drive like a jerk putting other drivers at risk. The reputation of a company isn't just built on the work they do, but also how their employees represent them in the community. Safety and responsibility seems to be lacking with Gateway General Contractors.

  Gateway Contrators littered on my lawn. I am not and have never been a customer of theirs but they left trash at my home and never picked it up. Not a good look for a company.

  This company has been horrible to work with from the beginning. Has absolutely no follow through whatsoever and I’ve worked with a few people now. My gutters were pitched wrong and they said they’d send someone out to fix it. That never happened and they don’t respond back. This is a joke of a company.

  I would not recommend using this company. Had Jake “the goat” (🤣) Coslet come out to our house March 19, 2024 to look at our roof, gutters, and downspouts to get it replaced after the really bad hail storm we got hit with in the beginning of March. Was great in the beginning and was fast but after getting on the roof and getting their sign out in our yard all communication stopped. We never heard back from Jake or anyone from the business. We wanted to get the roof done before we had our child in August and nothing ever happened. We ended up going with a different company, after months of no communication from Gateway, who got it done and replaced within a week of them coming out after our child was born and home. They didn’t tell us we had a huge hole in the roof and had extensive water damage done to the house because they failed to tell us we needed to tarp it off until the new roof gets put on. Seems like the contractors and the company are only in it to make a quick buck and be able to buy the next newest BMW or sports car…

  One of their drivers nearly ran me off the road. Cut me off with less than 5 feet to spare on a highway exit (the 364 exit from 141). Was driving well over 95 miles per hour afterwards. Driving on the white lines occupying 2 lanes. Just outright reckless driving in a company truck.

  We were extremely pleased with GGC!! Aremus Thomas, our Project Manager, was with us all the way from start to finish.   So happy I said yes to Gateway. Aremus provided incredible customer service, which began the moment I opened my door. He called the insurance Company for me which made that piece a breeze. He was very thorough with the process, answering all my questions and helping me chose the best color of roofing to compliment my home. The crew did a great job and he was here after they were done to check on my satisfaction and roll the yard again for nails to prevent any issues for the mowers or myself just walking around in the yard. His customer service did not stop the day of completion. He has checked in several times to make sure I was still happy with the work and ensure there were no problems. Such a personable and professional young man. Thanks Aremus for going above and beyond!

  Beautiful roof by honest inspector, Bacardy Taylor and many other friendly workers who did the complete job on an average size home by mid afternoon. Left with all trash removed and inspector helping with clean up while they were doing the job.
