  I didn’t get good service and communication wad very poor. I know my job was small but I had a leaky roof and it took over 3 months from the time I said go (paid deposit) and when the work got done. It only got done then because I finally pushed hard. 1 day job and work was fine but overall not pleased.

  Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the timeline, but we would like to clarify a few points for anyone reading this review. We schedule our projects in the order they are contracted, regardless of the size of the job. We provide customers with an estimated timeline at the time of signing, but we also explain that this timeline can change due to weather and other conditions outside of our control. During a busy roofing season, even 6–8 rain days can push the entire production schedule back considerably because those delays affect every project already ahead in line. We also want to respectfully clarify that your project was not completed because you “pushed hard.” Your job was completed when it came up in our production schedule. We do not move one customer's project ahead of another simply because they call more frequently or because their project is larger or smaller. During the wait, we also offered on multiple occasions to return your deposit if the timeline no longer worked for you, giving you the opportunity to pursue another contractor rather than continue waiting for your scheduled project date. You chose to remain on our schedule, and we appreciate that opportunity to complete the work. We certainly understand that waiting is frustrating, particularly when dealing with a roof leak, and we acknowledge that communication could have been better during that wait. We’re glad to hear that you felt the completed work itself was done well. We take pride in the quality of our work and will continue working to improve communication with our customers while treating everyone fairly in the scheduling process.

  Chance was very nice to work with although the crew that did the work on our deck and dock did a horrible job. The seating does not match each other, even after doing it twice, the boards do not line up against each other, they even used some of our old wood to complete the table. The dock was so unstable that my husband spent the weekend redoing it to make it more stable. Just not very happy with the overall job for the price.

  My realtor recommended them to me so I had them come out right before I closed on my house in May to give me a quote on my back porch roof. The roof was molded inside and leaking inside and near the gutters due to poor installation by the previous homeowner. A few weeks after I closed, I called them to make sure the job would fix the problem and to start setting up a contract and date. Each time I called them they told me they would get back to me but they never did. We were getting crazy rain in June and I couldn't wait any longer so after about 3 or 4 calls on my part and 2 weeks later, I gave up and went with Steinmeyer instead. I'm glad I did because it saved me $200 on the roof installation. I wonder if Freeman Exteriors didn't want to return my calls because I had more questions on the project, but I'm glad I was persistent because I ended up finding out my gutters were broken, which was causing some of the leaking. Overall would not recommend Freeman Exteriors if you are a first time home buyer and have questions.

First off, we are truly sorry for the miscommunication on our end. After speaking to our estimator about this situation he made it aware that he met the relator at the property and had emailed the relator the estimate. We did check the records and saw that you had called on June 21st, our secretary said she had left a note on the estimators desk to call you back. We are not sure what happened to it after that. We are only human but we will not make excuses for a mistake made and unfortunately we dropped the ball. We are happy that you did get the issue taken care of. Please know that we would never not call back because of questions you had. We typically like to meet the homeowner out at the property so we can answer any questions they might have right there. As you can see with our other reviews this is obviously not how we operate or do things. The estimator who did the estimate for the realtor and yourself wanted to send you apology as well so please be on the look out for a letter in the mail. Again, we truly apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication on our end. We hope you have a wonderful day!!

  Guy came out assessed repairs then later emailed me that they couldn't do the job. No reason given. Asked him why, but got no answer Not impressed.

  The work was done on schedule. The workers knew their jobs, and completed all of the roofing work in one day. The roof looks great! Couldn’t have asked for any more from Freeman.

  We have always had excellent service and quality work from Freeman Exteriors in Danville. The work starts on time and there are no hidden costs. We’ve had roof repair, window installation and leaf gutters installed. If you haven’t tried them, give them a call. You wont be disappointed!!

  Very prompt and professional. They completed the work in a timely manner as promised. The site foreman checked in every day to make certain that things were completed as expected. They also worked extremely well with my insurance company, providing all necessary information and documentation.

  Freeman Exteriors did a good job fixing the flashing around my chimney. Even though they were in the middle of the first wave of storm damage in Danville, they were there when they said they would be and didn't leave a mess.

  Installed a new Pella door for us. Everything went well. Installers were very professional. Did a great job, cleaned up and made sure we were satisfied with job before they left. Will use Freeman Exteriors for our next project.

  The crew came when they said they would. The crew did an outstanding job on putting up new fascia & vinyl soffits. They finished my entire tri-level in one day. They also did an excellent job of staying out of the wife's plants & flower beds. And finished up with an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend them.
