  This company has some serious issues with listening to the customer. First they don’t show up when they say they are. Then they tried to use the excuse it was because of the permits. They had a week to do what takes at most 30 minutes to get a permit. Not one thing started as they said it would, it was supposed to be….. dumpster dropped off at 8am . Didn’t happen! Then materials were supposed to be delivered after didn’t happen! Then the work crew was supposed to come in. They were here first. I told the roof inspector NO DUMPSTER IN THE DRIVEWAY. I told Forte on the phone , NO DUMPSTER IN MY DRIVEWAY! I told the crew boss NO DUMPSTER IN MY DRIVEWAY this morning. Guess what, it’s a 92 degrees day and guess where the dumpster is. That’s right, it’s in my new driveway and now my driveway is ruined. I tell one of their people not to solicit my neighbors because they absolutely hate that. So he goes door to door putting flyers on every single door. This company really has me completely annoyed and pissed off. Hire at your own risk! When they originally called me before they showed up I specifically asked them Me: “Do I need to get the permit “ Forte: “No we take care of that” . They don’t tell it takes over a week. Me: “ Do I need to have a porta potty on site?” Forte: Nope the guys don’t need one” They’re here the entire day with no bathroom on site! They had nothing for them to drink either, did I mention it’s 92 friggin degrees right now!! The crew that did the work is very good and it’s the only reason I didn’t throw this company off the property. I still haven’t heard how they plan to fix my driveway. UPDATE 5/19/26: We learned today that according to the contract Forte Roofing takes ZERO responsibility for any property damage !!!! Like i stated before they were told several times NOT to put the dumpster in our driveway their guy David Swain directed the dumpster delivery to be set in the driveway . They damaged our driveway doing it, Forte says it's the dumpster

  Scheduled an appointment for an estimate over 2 weeks in advance. Confirmed the appointment via a text THEY sent the day before. 10AM the day of I get a call that no one is available to come out and give me a quote.

  Forte came out today! Our direct neighbor had her roof done by this company last year. He inspected the roof but did not provide a written estimate, simply showed me a web site with CNY avg prices. OUTRAGEOUS $38000! Our neighbor spent $15000 for full roof replacement! He had no explanation no counter NOTHING! Be very careful get lots estimates!!!

  We want to sincerely apologize for the delay and the frustration caused by the cancellation of your project. While we initially intended to complete the full scope of work, the permitting process revealed that the specific framing and dormer construction that was requested required an architectural blueprint and a specialized general contractor license. As we are not architectural engineers, we realized we could not legally or safely fulfill that specific part of the contract. We regret that this discovery didn't happen sooner and that our communication fell short during the winter months. Our records show that a deposit for the roof repair was never collected, and as with most roofing projects, materials cannot be ordered or work scheduled until a deposit is received. Our team did attempt to follow up, but after we were unable to reach you for a period of time, the project was eventually cancelled in our system, which is why materials were never ordered and the work was not scheduled. If you are still interested in moving forward with the roof repair, we would be glad to reopen the project and help get everything back on track once the deposit is in place.   Had a very nice gentleman over for an estimate to replace my roof. Pricing seems outrageous for the size and complexity of my roof. I was never offered nor given an invoice where I as a consumer could view line items to see where the bloat was coming from. The push to "sign today" and the lack of transparency (despite some "scripts" were obviously meant to butter me up) made me feel off, and I will be pursuing another roofing company. I am trying to replace my roof, not buy a car. The high-pressure sales tactics really aren't going to work here. The guy who actually came out was amazing, though. Polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. I don't fault him, I fault (what I assume are) the high-pressure scripts this company wants their employees to follow.

  Very pleasant experience with Tom and Michael. Very knowledgeable, took their time with their inspection and showed me what exactly was going on with my roof. I am very excited to get my roof replaced by Forte. Would rate them 10 stars!

  The guy who did the estimate and the guy who put the roof on did a good job. Aside from that i had multiple issues. The picture and video i was promised would be available during the job was not privided to me. After the job was finished i inquired about it and it took them multiple attempts to send me a working link. Once i was able to open the link there was no video and there were pictures missing specifically of the plywood install. Come to find out they only replaced 4 plywood boards when they charged me for full plywood replacement. They later credited my account for the missing plywood but only after i brought it up and went back and forth with them multiple times. Also the cleanup job was not good. The cleanup person spent 5 minutes running a magnet in the yard and then spent 45 minutes sitting in the driveway. After the job i ran my magnet and found a couple handfuls of nails in the yard along with one in my tractor tire. Also the dumpster was left in my driveway for 3 days. Hopes this helps someone.
