  I originally asked for someone to come quote replacing my entire roof knowing it needed to be completely replaced because it was leaking in multiple areas. They were extremely responsive and seemingly knowledgeable. I asked for the quote to include everything to be replaced including the plywood, as well as have the dip repaired on the left exterior wall. I went to the extent of circling the issue and sending it to my sales rep. I was assured it would not be an issue and they could handle it. I was told the sale came with a gold star warranty of 50 years. The price was more than any other quote by $4k-$8k. I decided the customer service and warranty were worthwhile. Well, as you can see in the photos, I came home after work had started with the new roof laid down and the dip still in the wall. Upon discussion with my sales rep, I was advised that there was an old interior gutter across that part of the roof “and they “made a business decision not to do anything with it.” Mind you, they never once called to review with myself, the homeowner. I asked for pictures of what was under there and the company somehow has photos of the entire project EXCEPT this wall. Convenient. What was I going to do other than let them continue on. I noticed the back porch was completely rotted out and took a picture because it was so crazy it was that bad. The next day I see the workers with a single 4x4 nailed over the rot and I took a picture and sent it to the sales guy because I didn’t want a repeat of the LT side wall. When the project was wrapped up and basically all their stuff was removed from my property, I noticed a lot of the white trim of the siding they had removed was put back onto my house completely dented. I was then told “it’s aluminum and nearly impossible not to dent.” Again, was never told about the issue and they made a business decision to make my house (in the village with aesthetic requirements) looked like complete trash. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience from quoting the roof to performing the installation and it's disappointing to learn that we fell short in your case. We installed your roof in November 2021 and your roof hasn’t leaked since. So, we are glad that we were able to solve the issues with your original roof. And as for our quotes, we never include plywood nor structural repairs. If our salesperson led you to believe everything was included, we apologize as this is not our practice nor the practice of any other highly reputable roofing contractor. Your project was big and difficult. Your home was built in 1920 and was strife with issues from poor workmanship performed by previous contractors. You are correct in noting that we did not fix the dip in your roof as this is part of a much larger structural project and not included in the cost to replace a roof. On top of the difficulties of this roof, we also found an immense amount of structural damage on your front porch and back porch. We sistered rafter tails on both to ensure the structural integrity of the roof. Your photos depict the old rotted rafters, however, they have all been sistered with new lumber. We always perform walkthroughs with the homeowner once the project is complete. After walking through the project with you, we agreed to revisit and attempt to fix the aesthetic issues you mentioned. As stated, we were unable to meet your requests so we offered you additional money to have a separate contractor fix the aesthetic issues. Lastly, to attempt to make you happy, we took $1,200 off the invoice to cover the cost of all the structural work performed on the front and back porches. We also upgraded your warranty to the Golden Pledge for free. This is the strongest roofing warranty available on the market, which provides 25 years of craftsmans

  From the beginning to the end of the roof installation, Blue Collar Roofers were amazing. I had lots of questions and Joe answered my multiply emails timely and was patient and understanding. Chris, the project manager kept me up to date with the project. Was timely and explained any issues the workers had. The roofing team was amazing. The roof looks great. My neighbors have been commenting on how good it looks. The roofing team cleaned up so well, you would never know they were there. Thank you for a job well done.   Taylor, Chris, Manny and crew are great! Taylor and Chris are very responsive and informative. Manny and the crew are great! Their work ethic beats most, they’re fast, efficient, and even went above and beyond with their clean up efforts to ensure no nails left behind in the yard. Can’t say thank you enough as BCR helped alleviate stress so we could focus on life. I haven’t even mentioned the roof came out great! If you’re in the market for a roof, give them a look, you won’t be disappointed! No need for big fancy fleet of trucks and wasted money on wraps.   I was referred by a co-worker. Roof replaced in 1 day. Staff walked perimeter of house two times with metal detector to pick up stray nails/screws and other metallic items in grassy areas.
