  Shingles It took several months for them to do my roof after a sizable deposit had been made. Also, the referral check that they had offered was never issued after months of attempting to get them to send it. I do not recommend this company

  Hi Linda we are so glad you posted this review! Your deposit was given in the month of November- we updated you SEVERAL times to let you know the status and you knew that we were dodging cold weather and rain/snow. You had communication the entire time and this review is purely backlash because you feel as if we forgot about your son’s referral check. This roof was for a secondary house and you said it wasn’t urgent and to just let you know when we can fit it in. We completed the roof in a timely manner once the weather cleared up and it is a gorgeous job and doesn’t leak. We will always fall on the sword if we did something wrong and our clients know that we are extremely honest and hard working people. It is such a shame you choose to attack a small family business on social media when you do not get your way.

  Absolute disaster from start to finish. Everything about my experience with this company was mismanaged and unprofessional. The problems started immediately when they failed to show up for the first scheduled appointment. No call, no notice — I had to chase them down myself to reschedule. All this for my mother-in-law‘s house, too. Once the crew finally arrived, they were unprepared and missing basic materials, forcing delays that could’ve been avoided. They left the site in disarray every evening, with nails and debris scattered across my driveway and yard. My landscaping was damaged, and no one took responsibility. Communication was a nightmare. The project manager was never available when I called, and every person I spoke with gave different information about pricing, timeline, and what was included. The work itself was sloppy — shingles were misaligned, flashing was installed incorrectly, and I ended up with a leak after the first rain. I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Stay far away unless you want a roofing job that costs you more in repairs and headaches later.

  This has been the worst experience ever! I have multiple roofs needing replacement. They couldn't get 1 right I won't let them on another roof of mine. $$$$ worth of roofs. You'd think they would do the 1st one right. Beware of push people who show up. And the story's they tell! Insurance and buyers beware.

  Mr. Thomas. Our office is in Lee’s Summit and it was our understanding your wife would come by and pick up your $500 referral check. We have responded to her emails and she or you have always been welcome to come by and pick your check up. We as a courtesy on your project put high end gutter screens on your gutters at no extra charge. Also upgraded your gutters from 5” to 6” gutters and no extra charge. It’s seems this is really unfair to post a 1 star when we have done a great job on your project and have invited you to stop by and pick your check up multiple times. Please stop by anytime to receive your check.

  Their representative visited in late December regarding a roof repair and inspection. Two weeks later I received an estimate. Called the rep, asked a few questions then approved the estimate electronically. (Although, I was never going to pay a 60% deposit on the job which he requested.) Had not heard from him a week later so I called his number as listed on the estimate. Reached the office who told me he was no longer with the company and they couldn't find the estimate. The lady apologized and said one of the principals of the company, Bryan, could come by the next day. We did meet and he said they found the estimate and would honor it. However, he wanted to inspect the roof and since it was cold, he would schedule for the next week when the weather was to be warmer. The warm weather came but he didn't. So the following week, I called their office and another lady said she would give him the message and he would contact me that day. Didn't happen. Called again the next day and she said she was suprised he hadn't contacted me. She would immediately text him and I would be contacted that day. Never happened. If the job was too small or didn't fit your business model, just have the courtesy to let me know.

  Struggled to get a quote, but then got a great quote! Then after accepted the quote, I heard nothing for a long time, I had to threaten to go with another contractor, but then it was done and was done perfectly by one person! Process was difficult, but it was definitely worth it!! Love the work!

  We had a great experience with them! We were having some ceiling stains and thought we'd need a whole roof. Trent came out, assessed the issues, and we thankfully didn't need a roof but just some caulking. Trent came out a few days later and fixed it all himself. I highly recommend them!

  I first considered this company because they helped my sister financially last Christmas after seeing one of her Facebook posts. She is battling cancer and the help was greatly appreciated. They are local and give back to the community. I am a new homeowner and I know it hailed really bad back in May but I didn’t know the process to ask my insurance company. I put off submitting the claim and I thought it was too late to submit a claim. Luckily, I had up to a year to place a claim. I decided to reach out to Exterior Plus and Brandon H. helped me through the process. I now have a new roof! They made the time to meet with the insurance company and I know I’ll be using this company again in the future.

  After waiting a long time due to the vmcrazy weather we have here in the mid west I am beyond happy and thankful foe this company they did a great job and my roof looks amazing! Understand that the weather does bump it back by 5 days if we get rain! Please choose the for your roofing needs. My roof is so beautiful 😍 and they really appreciate their customers!

  The Exterior Plus team was fantastic to work with. The crew that installed our new roof were quick, professional and did a great job! They even cleaned up beautifully afterwards! I would absolutely recommend Exterior Plus for your next project!

  I used Exterior Plus to replace my roof. It had leaks and didn't look nice with obvious patching. I didn't know why the roof was leaking. They came out when they said they would. They took only one day to complete the job. There was no trash or debris left when they were done. They found that I had holes in my roof under the old shingles which caused the leaks. These were repaired before the new shingles where put on. Overall, the representative of the company was courteous, professional and the roofers left a very clean work site. I would definitely recommend this company.

  As far as workmanship, quality, professionalism and the work crew and the forman overseeing the job, I give this company an outstanding review. They showed up early because temperatures were in excess of 100°, tore off the roof, replaced some wood that needed it and finished efficiently and effectively. They cleaned up and left my yard as it was before doing the job. Austin was great, he answered any and all questions and concerns and explained the process in detail as the roof was being replaced. There were some communication issues but the owner let me know this was being addressed and remedied. Overall, I would recommend this company to others. The new roof makes my home look 20 years newer and the quality in materials and workmanship gives me peace of mind knowing it can withstand the harsh weather we have here in Missouri. Great job to all involved and thank you.

  These guys did great work. Even with rain and running in to snags from manufacturers they made sure it was done right and to our satisfaction. They made sure all our window rot was taken care of before installing the new windows and siding. I would highly recommend and will use them again in the future.
