  Horrible experience. It has been almost 2 years and my roof is still not fixed. We have continuously been given the runaround with promises of appointments, but they either never show up or cancel with excuses. They collected a down payment but failed to complete the work. Every attempt to contact them has been unsuccessful, the phone number does not work, and even visiting two of their locations (Trousdale and 511 Fairground) led nowhere. At this point, it feels like they take people’s money without any intention of completing the job. The positive reviews are very misleading based on my experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I hope this issue is resolved, but I will be exploring further action.

  Trying to get any info from Dragon Scale Roofing is like pulling teeth. I have a contract signed with them but can’t get any information on when an install date can be scheduled. John Shand was the person I was dealing with and seemed to be very trustworthy worthy but he will not respond either. Dragon scale scale has got most of the money with nothing to show for it or any communication. All we want to know is our roof going to get replaced( we really need it) in a timely manner or when will we get our money back. I could not sleep at night if I took someone’s money and didn’t communicate with them. This is so frustrating. We work to make our lives better and then something like this happens. We drove to Nashville today(6-16-2025) to two different locations (511 fairgrounds ct and to Franklin) to get some answers. The first place was empty and the second was a UPS store. Every time we call no one answers. No texts. Nothing. This is not what I signed up for at all. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

  They will not respond! I have waited a year! They keep pushing my roof off. And there is a group of others on Facebook that have the same problem for 2 years no roof. I am personally filing a fraud claim and so are several others. They have our money and we have no roof! Be aware. Do not do business with Dragon Scale. The group on Facebook is called Dragon Scale Fraud.

  I paid Dragon Scale over $10k in December, and they did not show up on the scheduled installation date for my new roof. Absolutely do not use!!

  Dragon scale is a great roofing company. Very friendly, very professional and easy to communicate with via text or phone. they did all of the legwork with my insurance carrier. And They installed my new roof in one day! They also came back with a magnet to clean up nails and even inspect my gutter guards to make sure they had not been damaged. Would definitely recommend! A++

  AVOID. If you are looking for a new roof after the recent storms, look elsewhere. It has been almost a year since I signed a contract to get my roof replaced with dragon scale and I am still waiting. They will not give me their license number. They will not return my money. At this point I am lucky to get them to respond to a text message while they avoid most of my questions. I still do not have an install date scheduled. They continue to prioritize new projects over existing clients and do not have enough installers to fulfill existing obligations. I was supposed to talk to Savannah (owners daughter) today and she ghosted me and has not responded. After they got my checks back in December 2024 the communication became horrible. I have to drag information out of anyone that will respond and more often than not, they just don’t respond. Owner is out of the loop and the customer service is horrible. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else when these guys come banging on your door.

  We used Dragon Scale Roofing to assess any hail damage we may have had from a previous storm. Matthew came out and was very detailed and thorough. I will be calling Dragon Scale again if I have any other roofing needs or concerns.

  Rob helped us put in a claim for some wind damage. Unfortunately, the insurance company denied it. Dragon Scale gave us some cost effective options so we didn’t have to replace the roof right now. Rob came out and did the fix and the roof looks great.

  I appreciate DragonScale roofing for their honesty. Rob came out and checked my roof for possible hail damage and said other than some cosmetic damage to the down spots the roof was fine. I will definitely call them for any roofing needs I may have in the future.

  John was very professional and easy to work with. There are seemingly so many substitutes when it comes to roofing, but there is no substitue for Dragon Scale!

  Buyers Beware: Two years ago, Dragonscale replaced my home's roof, and I received excellent service, experience, and quality of work. But I've now in the last two months paid for a roof to be installed on a different property, and the company is unresponsive and a number of other customers who have paid the company also have not received their installations and cannot get in touch with the company. I would not recommend using this company under any circumstances.

  Dragon Scale replaced our roofing. The crew was excellent. They were fun to be around! Roger Estrada, the project manager, was so on top of this project. Stephanie kept me updated before, during, and after. She was delightful! Philip did the follow up and he too was so good to be around. Overall experience was top notch!

  Had a great experience with Rob and the Dragon Scale Roofing and Solar team!!.. After some hail damage was found during a roof inspection, Rob and his team went to work getting us a quote, answering our questions and concerns and a time frame to install our roof system, that was convenient to our schedule. Savannah, from the office contacted us to schedule a date to install our roof and it was installed in almost a day. Some minor details were identified, Savahannah assured me that it would be fixed and completed immediately! I would recommend Rob and the team to anyone that is in the market for a new roof or insurance claim replacement!! Love that team! Thanks Rob- and Dragon Scale Roofing and Solar!!!

  Dragon Scale replaced my wind damaged rental roof. Previously they replaced the roof on my house. Their employees are helpful, polite, and spot on with delivery. I was handed estimates they stuck to. They worked with my insurance company as needed. The roof replacement went smoothly and they cleaned up nicely, protected my landscape while installing. I recommend them to anyone who has a storm damaged roof.
