  It's amazing storm guard has all these reviews. Talked with Andy initially and that was the last time he would talk to me. Took a little over 5 months to put a new roof on fix one small leak in roof and put some down spouts on. Took off a valley water guard on was just place back up there with no hammer. They have company formats that come to the job but don't know what there doing. They use subcontractors for everything. Using them would be like the old dead steer at the dried up pond in the desert. YOU'LL BE SORRY. What ever you do don't let them know what the insurance was sending you or they will find away to get every penny and then some. Last time I tried to get a hold of the owner he didn't have time, he was at a show in Florida, go figure. If you choose to use them and it doesn't work out you have been warned. GOOD LUCK

  Sadly, my experience with Storm Guard (Nashville) didn't match up to the online reviews. I have a pretty standard roof of about 2,500 ft2 that was damaged in a hail storm. Work began in May of '25 and wasn't completed until Sept. Workers would show up unannounced, usually unable to speak English and typically leaving garbage on site. Twice they damaged my house, once breaking masonite siding and a second time damaging flashing. My sales guy tried to stick the bill to fix the damage 1st to my insurance company and when they wouldn't pay (for contractor negligence) then to me. Not once did anyone from Storm Guard ever check to see "how did we do?" they just wanted the check and then on to the next job.

  Bad bad experience with Storm Guard. Jacked me around for 10 months, then when it came time for the work, they put 100’s of people ahead of us and on the day they were going to come they were no shows.

  Not one to write reviews but was very disappointed by my experience with Storm Guard. 8 weeks to get an estimate on a simple roof repair. For 112 sq ft area that needed work, market rate for repair should have been in the $8-$12/sq foot. …

  The Storm Guard team did a fantastic job on some raccoon repairs that we needed to get fixed on the exterior of our house. They were quick, communicated, and very easy to work with. They will be my first call for any exterior repairs in the future.

  We had a great experience with John from Storm Guard. He came out to take a look at some leaks we were having and was able to identify the issues. He was knowledgeable, professional and communicated everything clearly. I really appreciated that he took time to answer my questions and walk me through different solutions.   The team from Storm Guard did a fantastic job repairing a leak we had in our roof. Neal came out, inspected everything himself, came up with a solid plan, and repaired our problem. He was even able to get a package of shingles that was a perfect match (he took the time to research the brand and color and order the proper shingles).

  Our experience with Storm Guard Roofing was really great. Our Sales Rep, Neal Garvin, was honest, personable and professional and the roofers, Alex and Ivan and their crew were equally professional, courteous and skilled at their craft. We had 3 of our roofs replaced on a relatively new home. We made the decision to replace them based on the quality of the initial roof install. The difference between the builder’s work and the work completed by Storm Guard Roofing was dramatic. We are so happy we went with Storm Guard and highly recommend this company.

  Nick at StormGuard was awesome. He went above and beyond as we fought with insurance for almost 2 years on our repair. He helped us get far more of our repair covered because him and stormguard were so diligent. They did great work with the repairs and now our siding and roof make our house look brand new. 100% would recommend.

  Storm Guard recently completed the replacement of a large flat roof over our den. After many years, the roof had begun to leak. Because flat roofs require different materials and expertise than traditional shingle roofs, I sought a company with depth and experience. John Fredriksen was my contact at the company and worked with me throughout the process. He was always punctual and clearly presented the information from the bid through completion. Andy Scoggins, the company owner, personally came to my house twice: once to review details before the bid and a second time during the installation. Storm Guard's bid was very competitive compared to other contractors. On the day of the actual installation, a hardworking team of experienced installers worked all day and completed the project by nightfall. Arthur Garza supervised the work. They not only completed the flat roof but also replaced and painted the rotten siding on the dormer. Two rows of shingles were matched to the existing traditional roof where the flat roof joined it. Ten hours later the project was tested when we had a heavy downpour the next morning with no leaks. The personnel are uniformed and drive company trucks. The experience was professional throughout, and I would recommend this company to anyone for their roofing needs.

  We first used Storm Guard Roofing in Franklin, TN when it was time to replace the roof on our house in 2022. We used them again in 2026 for hardie board siding installation. Collectively we have spent around $27k for roof, solar powered vent fans, and siding. Their sales rep, John Fredriksen, is great. He walked us through the process of getting a roof, gave us a thorough review of the current state of our roof and options. He worked with our insurance company, and answered all our questions throughout the process. The installation team worked a seriously long day to try to get it all done in a day. They did a great job with cleanup and we did not end up with nails in our tires. A few other well known companies in the area have not been so thorough with cleanup and when those companies work in my neighborhood one of our cars always gets a nail in a tire. In 2026 when it came time to replace damaged siding, I reached back out to John and asked for a quote. He gave us a fair and reasonable quote for James Hardie board siding. He recalled how it can be sticky to get things through the McKay’s Mill HOA, and was patient and accommodating while we worked that process. Their team did a great job removing the old siding and installing the new. There were some trim pieces that I thought were not done quite as we had discussed. I spoke with John and he had the team back out in a few days to inspect and correct the issues. The install crew had made a neat pile of trash to be removed, but had done so on the public sidewalk. When I realized this, I reached out to John with photos of the situation. He had a team over within 90 minutes or less to clean that up right away. I have been really pleased with Storm Guards overall quality of work, materials, and standing behind their products. They must be pretty good to work for, otherwise good sales folks like John Fredriksen would not stick around for years. Believe me, I have used some firms for patio and other home improvements

  I was looking for a local roofing company in the Brentwood and Franklin area and chose Storm Guard Roofing because of their strong reputation and professional approach.   On two separate occasions this summer I had leaks. Storm Guard came out both times (one turned out not to be a leak, but a different issue). The second time, they caulked around the suspected area. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the problem so next they reroofed the entire section around the area in question. They were efficient, great at communicating and cleaned up afterwards, so that you’d never know they had been there. Also, the first two times they didn’t even charge me! I highly recommend them.

  Working with Neal was amazing! He helped us get the roof installed quicker than their normal timeline. The installation was thorough and quick, as the crew finished within a day. The crew also cleaned up making it look like they were never there. I would recommend storm guard to all looking for a new roof.
