  This company came to work on our roof and left a ton of debris everywhere after they are done. It was on the lawn , driveway, and our deck. My husband cleaned this before I got to take pictures - but here is a shot of how they left our deck. I find it offensive that they would do work and leave a mess for us to clean up, particularly after a job that you are being paid for.

  This will be my first non 5 star review I have ever given on google. Since I pay attention to these reviews, it’s seems important to share my experience, good or bad or ugly. Background: I contacted them after I already had my insurance company inspect my roof and confirm there was damage to the roof, but not the gutters. The good: I appreciate that Dr. Roof was not one of the scores of door knocking roofers who attacked my house after the storm. The work appears to be solid and, not being an expert, I suppose time will tell. At least it looks great. The Bad: Dr. Roof’s employee, Sean Fleming, said he observed gutter damage and assured me many times that insurance would pay. Insurance would not /did not pay. The ugly: Speaking to the adjuster, he said the way Dr. Roof argued for the gutter replacement was laughable. Among other things, Dr. Roof argued they needed to take off the gutters in order to be able to repair the roof. They did not remove the gutters. When I shared this feedback with Dr. Roof, it was suggested that I file a complaint with the GA DOI about my insurance company. Under the circumstances, I was more likely to file a complaint with the BBB about Dr. Roof. I have not done that (yet). This poor google review is as far as I plan to go. Despite the circumstances, I have endeavored to replace the gutters out of my pocket with Dr. Roof. With the back and forth over their quote, especially about the cost of repairs of things like fascia replacement, I have realized that I just don’t trust this company to do the right thing. They may legitimately have to replace fascia boards and charge extra for that. But given the way things have gone, I have lost trust, concerned they will replace boards that do not need to be replaced, running up the cost even more. After all, I did have to pay an extra $1,200 out of pocket already for supplements not covered by insurance for the roof repair. I am now pursuing quotes from another contractor (s)

  the small work that was performed was good but the guy who came out to look at the roof told me the roof was all good and that nothing else was needed , i asked him to make sure there was no other damage and he said there wasn't but actually there was several issues that i had to have another company repair ,missing shingles, bad spots on shingles etc.. , i would never use then or recommend them to anyone

  Dr Roof inspected my roof and advised me that the boots around two of the vent pipes needed replacing. They were 5 years old. Dr. Roof charged me almost $600 for the repairs. When I asked why so much, the tech replied it was due to their experienced and professional staff. I foolishly let him complete the job. I later found out it should have cost under $300. I do not recommend Dr Roof.

  Update: Despite Dr. Roof making this sound like it was happening because of the coronavirus, this began on February 3rd and the repair was done on February 17th, well before the crisis in our country. I understand that the most recent visit was during this time, but that has nothing to do with my review. I empathize with all companies dealing with this issue. This was my first time using Dr. Roof. I had a consultation that seemingly went very well and the technician, James, told me I would have a two year warranty and it would cost $2500 to repair the roof leak. I didn’t know ahead of time, but they couldn’t schedule me until two weeks after the consultation and with heavy rain everyday, that was a long time to wait. The only way to contact their scheduler initially is to leave a voicemail and wait for her to call you back. If you miss the call, you have to call and leave her another message. So forget any kind of timely communication if you have a job and cannot answer the phone as soon as they call. Finally they reached out to me by email so I was able to schedule that way, but it took a number of back and forth phone calls before that happened. The day they were scheduled to come out, they were supposed to call me to let me know they were on the way. I never received a call. I called the office that afternoon to see if they had repaired the roof and no one was there who could answer questions so I had to leave a message with the answering service. I received a message the next day or the day after saying they did come out. But that was it. I emailed again three days later letting them know I had still not received any paperwork or payment instructions as well as no warranty. I received the invoice the next day, but no warranty still. I requested the warranty and it was sent the next day but it said one year when the technician said it would be two years. I reached back out to the office and they said they had to check with the technician. He updated it and I w

  I contacted Dr. Roof for a roof leak and was disappointed by the experience. Communication w/ Patrick was slow with some of my questions via emails going unanswered while I was trying to address an active roof leak and make decisions about repairs. The quote I received was almost $2k to replace four $20 plumbing boots. When I asked reasonable questions about the pricing and scope of work, instead of addressing those concerns professionally, I was accused of trying to get free work and told they would no longer do the job. When I questioned the pricing and asked whether they could throw in something as simple as gutter cleaning or gutter guards as part of the deal, they to drop did not responded and then dropped me as a customer right before bad weather hit, leaving me to start over and find another contractor for an active roof issue. The entire experience left me with the impression that everything was fine as long as I accepted the quote without question. The moment I asked for clarification, negotiated pricing, or raised concerns about damage and cleanup, the conversation changed completely. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

  I had an awful price gauging experience with Dr. Roof. New home owner who will never make another 3k mistake for six feet of work. And two years later the gutter is falling off!! The response made no difference in the overcharge and the outlandish cost for a small job. I got the same job quoted by a competitor for 843.65.

The total cost for the project was $2,348.56 and included several repairs beyond the gutter section, including fascia board replacement, soffit repair, shingle repair, and installation of gutter screens. Our goal is always to price projects based on the full scope of work needed to complete the repair properly and safely. At the time, the gutter workmanship carried a one-year warranty. Based on the timeline, that coverage period has since passed. However, we absolutely care about our customers’ experiences and never want anyone to feel dissatisfied.   Andrew did a thorough estimate and helped set realistic expectations for the project. Our job was scheduled quickly (within 10 days) and the work was done in a day. The crew was respectful of the property and tried to protect nearby plants. Beautiful work, good clean-up, and great communication throughout.

  Dr Roof has done quite a bit of work on our home. Roofing, exterior paint, new windows, and most recently a small repair and installation of a vent for exhaust fans. Luis did the recent work and he did a great job. Each time, we have been very pleased with the work done by Dr Roof. I recommend them.

  When your house gets hit by lighting it’s never a fun thing and obviously causes some concern for your roof. Can’t thank the Dr Roof crew enough for their quick response and attention to detail. Everyone we worked with (Bryan, Logan, Maria, and more) was extremely professional and courteous. They made sure we were leak proof while custom parts were made and wouldn’t take a dime until we were happy. Overall great experience for a crappy situation!

  Dr Roof completed a roof replacement for me on August 12/13 2026. Everything progressed as scheduled and as promised. Materials arrived on August 11. Work started early on August 12. Old shingles were removed and the new roof was almost 100% in place by sundown on August 12. It was pretty amazing to watch. The crew did an incredible job. There were a few touchup/completion steps needed the morning of August 13, and then it was done. Cleanup was excellent. Honestly, I have yet to find a stray nail. And I've been looking! Tarps were spread out around the house for the old roof removal and a protective netting was put over my air conditioning units. All the old materials were loaded into a dumpster and off they went. I can strongly recommend Dr Roof.

  Major damage to fascia due to carpenter bees. Dr Roof replaced my roof several years ago and did a great job, so I called them for this project Dr Roof replaced all the fascia with hardiplank. The gutters were removed, old fascia removed, new fascia installed, painted, and gutters reinstalled This was a 5-day project .A supervisor came every day to check the progress They did an excellent job in all respects

  My Wife and I hired Dr Roof to replace the 30 + year old roof on our house. The roof being replaced was installed by Dr Roof in the early 1990’s. That experience was perfect and we never considered hiring anyone else. But Wow! A lot has changed since that time. Sales Representative Giovanni R came to our house and walked through whole process which included plywood replacement, the leak barrier, the roof underlayment, the flashing and boots, and finally the different shingles that were available. He then prepared the appropriate paperwork and the estimated date of installation. Gio was very knowledgeable and was always available to kept us updated and answer any questions that we had. Before the installation started, we received a "Get to Know Us” summary which laid out the details of the process from start to finish. Lori and Sabrina were very helpful answering all our questions about the invoicing and payment process. For the installation, Denis V was the Quality Control Supervisor. The Crew arrived on time and completed the job the following day. They were great! And the clean-up was perfect. Denis kept us updated as the job progressed and answered all the questions we had. Dr Roof did a fantastic job from start to finish! The whole process took less than 2 weeks. The new roof is beautiful! It was all done on time and on budget with no problems or drama. All we had to do was stay out of the way and wait for the final results. We were not disappointed. It was easy and stress free. I am already highly recommending Dr Roof to others.
