  Cornerstone put a roof on for us in May. The process went fine. However, in August we discovered a water spot on our ceiling from a leak. When we went up in the attic to look at the leak, we also discovered that they disconnected the vent from our hot water heater and carbon monoxide has been leaking into our attic for months!! We are under warranty, but after numerous calls, Cornerstone has dragged their feet. They finally sent out a subcontractor who claimed to repair a shingle with a hole in it, but he didn't even touch the vent issue! I contacted the subcontractor again to complain and no response. We will never use Cornerstone Construction again! They claim to be about helping the community, but have put our family at risk and don't see the least bit concerned about their mistakes. Go elsewhere for your roofing needs- this is not a company of integrity. We will be moving forward with legal action if they don't resolve this issue soon.

  Installed my Hardie trim boards backwards after is showed them exactly how I wanted it then it took over 9 months and dozens of phone calls for them to correct the problem. I would not recommend them.

  I called about having my roof inspected for storm damage. Set an appointment four days out (earliest they could do). Their rep arrived 15 minutes late. Didn’t bring a ladder! Said he could come back later but had to get the ladder out his wife’s car. He was more focused on getting into my attic (I had already inspected that myself). Then I find out he’s only been with the company for a week and a half with no prior roofing experience. So how in the heck would he know what he’s looking at! Take photos and let someone in the office decide. I told them not to bother sending him back. Unprofessional behavior at the beginning does not bode well for future work.

  Mr.Gerretsen, thank you for the honest feedback. We dropped the ball—arriving late and without a ladder is unacceptable. The team member you met was still in his onboarding period; that’s on us to manage better. We offered to have a manager to return and redo the inspection, which you chose not to pursue, and we respect that. We have meet with this employee and will do better as a company at making sure our specialists are prepared to be in the field. We have a long standing good reputation in the community and this is not how we normally operate so for that I am sorry!

  I was called yesterday to see if I would like a free inspection. Set up an appointment for 12:30 pm on 10/1/2024. I was told they would call when they were on their way. I work second shift. So I waited till the last minute to get ready work and leave for work, and when was leaving my driveway at 2:30pm they drove past my house with no phone call. Already starting off a bad business relationship with me. Say what you mean and do what you say.

  This is the worse experience we have ever received. I would never ever recommend. We have windows that are still not okay. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OTHER THAN ROOF. I am telling you we still have windows that are a problem. Call me if you if you want to hear my opinion. I am telling u Never use this company. I am going to report them to the BBB I AM DONE.

  We were able to get in touch with this homeowner and work through the concerns and issues that he had. This is not the kind of experience we want anyone to have at Cornerstone Construction and we appreciate that we had the chance to make it right.

  This company is a joke, had them come out to give me a quote for repairing a leak. They showed up and diagnosed my issues twice. Proceeded to tell me they would order some metal to install a drip edge and they thought that would fix the job everything was good up to this point. A month passed never heard from anyone called them and was told they would have guy over job return my call. Never heard from anyone waited 2-3 weeks called again and was told guy moved up in company and someone from sales would call me in 24hrs a week passed by and never heard from anyone? So this company wasted 2 months of my time . Very unprofessional if you didn't want the job just say so from the get go . Thanks for nothing!

  I needed to have my roof inspected after a recent storm and cornerstone was referred to me by my insurance agent. I called and was able to get the appointment scheduled the next day. D J Henderson was assigned to my project and he arrived right on time. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He spent a good bit of time explaining what needed to be done and even sent a quote for a metal roof. I almost forgot to say GO VOLS!! Dj will understand😁

  Representative Donny came out to give us an estimate for siding. He let me know he was on the way and arrived on time. He was professional and answered questions we had. He was personable and provided a pleasant experience while doing his work.

  Stephan was prompt, courteous and professional. Unfortunately the requested quote did not meet my expectations, but I appreciated his effort and thoroughness even though we didn’t reach an agreement to the work scope and cost.

  Great job on replacing some damaged shingles on my roof. Zak put a lot of effort in making sure the new shingles matched the color of the old ones.. Great Job Zak !! The job was reasonably priced and they cleaned the area upon completion. I would highly recommend.

  The team at Cornerstone Construction provided excellent customer service. They were responsive to my inquiries, prompt in scheduling an appointment, arrived at the scheduled time and completed the repair quickly. Highly recommend this company!

  They came out in a timely manner to investigate the issue. Stephan Shannon and his crew did a great job in making proper repairs and also providing ventilation in the attic. I recommend them for any roofing issues.

  Donny Moreton is AMAZINGLY knowledgeable and found multiple issues that my builder had improperly done with my gutters. He took photos of everything he found and explained things very clearly to me and explained the different repair options. He’s not pushy and lays out different options and pros and cons of each. He’s very honest too. He showed me what areas are fine and where the problem spots are. He didn’t try to push me towards work that’s not actually needed, explained what things would be structurally important vs what things are cosmetic and a matter of homeowner preference so that you can weigh all the factors. He listened to all of my questions and explained them all. I feel very confident recommending him, and Cornerstone Construction.
