  When my 84 yr old grandmother's dinner was interrupted by a large leak from roof seeping onto her dinning room table, naturally I was tasked with finding a contractor to fix the leak. The most refreshing part of the experience is that Joseph's focus was on the problem he was called for instead looking for every money-making branch on the way down. Beyond doing exceptional work to seal the leak and prevent this issue from happening in the future, the following made my experience worthy of future recommendation: 1. Unlike the first two quoters, he did not attempt to up-sell my grandmother. 2. He showed up on time and prepared each time we dealt with him. 3. The level of effort, time required, and price for the work did not change from estimate to execution. This is the type of contractor you can confidently recommend to friends and family!

  In the middle of all the torrential rain we’ve had this July in South Texas, our brand-new home developed a small leak in the laundry room. I called Cool Roofs, and the very same day, Kambryn came out to our home in Boerne to take a look. She climbed onto our massive, steep roof and performed an incredibly thorough inspection. She identified every exposed nail and screw that the original roofing contractors had failed to properly seal. Given the size and pitch of our roof, I can understand how this issue only became apparent after the relentless, heavy rains we’ve experienced this month. Kambryn didn’t just fix the immediate leak—she meticulously sealed every exposed nail and screw she found, documented her work with detailed photographs, and provided a comprehensive assessment of the roof, explaining exactly what she found and what she repaired. That level of transparency and attention to detail gave us tremendous confidence that the problem was truly resolved. What impressed me just as much was her professionalism, responsiveness, and work ethic. She arrived promptly, communicated clearly, and treated our home as if it were her own. The price for the service was more than fair, especially considering the exceptional quality of work and peace of mind we received.   Ray and his team work on an overhang transition porch roof and the repairs did help especially during the recent heavy rains. Rey explained the assessed the damage and explained the process in correcting the problem.

  Exceptional Work, Honest Advice, and an Unmatched Advocate! If you are looking for a roofing company in the San Antonio area, do yourself a huge favor and call Jorge Gonzalez with Cool Roofs. I cannot recommend him highly enough. My journey to a new roof was a massive uphill battle. My insurance company denied my property damage claim three separate times. Most contractors would have walked away after the first or second denial, but not Jorge. He stepped in and provided the absolute best advice, strategy, and guidance to help me navigate the formal insurance appraisal and umpire process. Thanks to his expertise, we ultimately won and the claim was approved in our favor. What blew me away the most was his personal dedication—Jorge showed up to the inspections purely for moral support, even though I later found out he wasn't technically required to be there. That is the definition of a contractor who actually cares about the person, not just the paycheck. When it came time for the actual installation, his team proved to be absolute pros. We had unpredictable Texas weather roll in mid-day with a localized rain forecast. Jorge’s crew didn't panic or cut corners; they were so proactive that they already had the waterproof underlayment fully nailed down to protect my bare plywood deck before a single drop of rain fell. Jorge is honest, highly skilled, a fierce advocate for his clients, and a true professional. Cool Roofs has earned a customer for life!
