Classic Metal Roofs

The only one or two-star review we hold for Classic Metal Roofs.

The roof is nice! Though I think it could have been installed with more care. There are many places that seem kind of haphazard and it was not quite the attention to detail that I was expecting. Once they got us to sign the contract, communication was very poor. We tried to get in touch with them several times because we had been waiting for months on an install date. It took weeks for our project manager to give us the news that there was a problem with the metal shipment, which she said our sales rep was supposed to have told us about, which did not happen. During the removal of our old roof they crushed a lot of our garden, which we had recently added to. They broke one of the plant pots on our front step, didn’t tell us, and taped it back up with black duct tape. When we told our project manager she was very apologetic and offered to get us a Home Depot gift card to replace the plants and the pot, which was nice, but she never followed through. They also broke the gate to our backyard by forcing it to open in the wrong direction. Most days trash was left around in the back, side and front yards. Most of it was cleaned up at the end of the installation. All in all the process was a very stressful experience for us. Now that it is on, we love our metal roof, but I’d say try to find another installer.

Sorry you were disappointed in the process. We work very hard to be sure that doesn't happen. Nothing is haphazard during the installation as we install "by the book" each and every time. Please contact us as regarding your planter, we will reimburse you for that. We did a search for you in our data base but did not find you!

We were tired of constantly patching our old asphalt roof, and they offered a permanent solution with their aluminum standing seam. Installation was quick and professional, and we no longer worry about leaks or repairs. It’s the best decision we made for our home in Coventry—highly recommended!

Rhode Island winters can be brutal, so I wanted a roof that could withstand heavy snow. They installed snow guards with our aluminum roof, and even during the worst storms, the snow slides off safely with no buildup or leaks. The roof’s beautiful finish is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a durable, winter-ready solution!

The team went above and beyond for our roof replacement project in Newport. We chose an aluminum standing seam design, and the final product looks amazing. Their attention to detail was exceptional—they aligned every seam perfectly and ensured our daily routine wasn’t disrupted. They’ve definitely earned a customer for life!

As someone who values sustainability, I was impressed by Classic Metal Roofs’ eco-friendly approach. They use recycled aluminum, and the roof itself is 100% recyclable. Since installation, our energy bills have decreased noticeably. We …

Living in Barrington, I was concerned about the snow load, but they installed aluminum shingles with snow guards that have given me peace of mind. The new roof looks stunning, and I catch myself admiring it every time I come home!

Mike was great to work with. It wasn’t easy to find anyone that would follow up and was interested in the work I needed. Most would never call back. Mike made it easy and the work was completed on time with quality materials.

From consultation to final walk-through, Classic Metal Roofs exceeded my expectations. I had my doubts about metal roofing, but they patiently answered all my questions and gave a competitive estimate. We chose rustic aluminum shingles, which add unique character to our home. The team was respectful, punctual, and handled everything—even the custom gutters! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We could not be more pleased with Classic Metal Roofs. Our house is water view of Narragansett Bay. We had planned on a standing seam roof and learned that aluminum was the way to go because of proximity to salt water. It cost a little …

Hard working, professional, courteous and friendly crew. Ripping an old roof and re-roofing is a dirty business, but they have a special elevated mini dumpster to collect large debris at the eave level, and then clean up thoroughly thereafter. They represent a quality product that I had researched independently. In fact, it's an integrated roofing system that totally encapsulates your home's roof. My product research actually led me to this contractor as they have a special New England region relationship with the manufacturer. Some contractors just say, "That's the way we do it!" Mike Gonet and his team were flexible and made adjustments to met our requests. They also seamlessly integrated our existing lighting rod system into the new roof, running the cables underneath the attic vent cap. No more cables visibly snaked along the peak. I had the lightning rod company come and check the system afterward, and they were impressed. Can't recommend this firm more highly.

Thanks James. We appreciate the review. Classic Metal Roofs works to ensure that the project turns out like yours every time. The Oxford aluminum shingle is a lifetime roof. You can be sure it will preform through the heavy winds and rains coming off Narragansett Bay!

We used Classic Metal Roofs to accent our new home build. We has them install a matching color standing seam metal roof over our 24’x8’ covered entry porch. The Gonet team did it right and made all the details to our satisfaction. We plan to use them again in spring 2024 for several other upcoming metal roof projects. I highly recommend you give them a try. Randy Knight Knight Builders Inc.

Bay windows take a beating in Rhode Island weather, so the roof over them matters. 🏠🔩 In Warwick and nearby towns, Classic Metal Roofs installs metal roof systems that protect small areas like bay windows, porches, and entry accents without sacrificing the look of your home. We often use aluminum metal roofs for these details because they resist rust and hold up well in coastal air. Options we install: • Standing seam metal roofs for a clean, modern line • Metal shingle roofs like Oxford (slate look) or Rustic (shake look) • Copper roofs for a timeless accent 🛠️ If you’ve been searching “metal roofer near me” in Warwick, East Greenwich, Providence, or South Kingstown, we’re ready to help you plan the right fit.
