Roger is the best! I had a leak in my roof that was caused by bad work done by my neighbor’s contractor. When I told Roger about the issue, he came out the next day, and was able to take a look and thoroughly explain to me what the problem was, what caused it, and exactly how we could fix it. He was super informative, and very thorough in answering all of my questions. He and his team came out the following Monday and fixed the roof super quickly. From start to finish, it was about 3 business days total to get the work done between my first call and the actual repair. I also appreciated that he sent photos of the work he completed since I don’t have roof access. Throughout the whole process, he was incredibly kind and well informed, I will absolutely use them again!

Roger and his team were fantastic. They were very fast to reply, handled the entire estimate process without me needing to miss work. They were professional and patient, answering all my questions before they started work and then did a great job replacing my townhome roof. I would recommend them to a friend. They were great!

Our roof was damaged due to wind storms. We got quotes from seven contractors. Roger’s price was unbeatable, and his crew’s quality of work was even better. Roger was easy to communicate with, and felt like we were working with a craftsman …

Roger, Josh, and their team are the absolute embodiment of the "A team." We had a multifloor leak during a bad storm, and needed a referral for a reliable roofer fast, Rodger and his team were recommended by pretty much everyone in our south baltimore circle, after messaging him on facebook, he was at our house surveying the roof within 24 hrs, after assessing where the problem spots on our roof were, he had a team ready to complete the work same week. Unfortunately it rained on our planned roof repair friday, once he found out that we could not accomodate a monday reschedule, he graciously offered to have his son and his team out to complete the work on a saturday at no extra cost. His team arrived early, were courteous, and completed the work at an incredible pace without even needing to enter our home, they took plenty of photos of the old roof to document it's condition before replacing with new. I came out to the roof multiple times and his team walked me through and explained multiple problem spots in the roof and how they were going to solve the leaks. They completely replaced our roof in less than half a day, incredible experience and very clear that Rodger and his team have been doing this a long time, stand by the quality of their work, and are just good people. Would highly recommend Rodger/Josh/City builders if you have any issues with your roof.

I called another roofing company to get a quote for a new roof, they quoted me $17k, I knew that was way too much money. I have heard good things about Roger Shiflett who owns City Builders. I called explained my situation to Roger who said that they could definitely help me at a much lower cost. They came early, demolished the old roof down to the original tin and replaced it all in one day. The crew was very courteous and professional, there was no mess left behind. Everything was explained to me in terms I could understand I would highly recommend City Builders.

Roger and his crew do excellent work and always stand behind it. They had previously done a roof for me and I had birds getting in behind my gutter in a spot right where the electric service attaches to the house. They came out and took care of it right away. Always professional and responsive

The Team was very professional and experienced! The fact that they put everything that was on the deck in the garage, and then repositioned it on the new deck, made the experience that much more agreeable! And I was amazed at how smooth and quick the permitting process was, they know the system! Bottomline, I am very pleased with our new deck and I would highly recommend City Builders!

Your roof does more than keep the rain out. It protects your home, your family, and everything inside. While missing shingles and visible leaks are obvious warning signs, some roofing problems are much easier to miss. Here are 5 signs your roof may be failing beyond the obvious: · Granules collecting in gutters · Sagging or uneven roof lines · Rising energy bills from poor ventilation · Water stains in the attic or ceilings · Moss, algae, or excessive moisture retention Catching these issues early can help prevent more extensive damage and costly repairs down the road. If you've noticed any of these warning signs, CityBuilders is here to help. Our experienced team can assess your roof's condition and provide honest recommendations for repair or replacement when needed.
