I have gotten solar panels and Tesla Powerwall installed using Citadel. Service support is extremely poor with little to no expertise demonstrated yet on Tesla Powerwall configuration. We have diagnosed many issues post install: monitoring configuration was missing for part of electricity consumption of the house; battery backup usage is sub-optimal even when charged and house draws power from the grid. The response to service requests is poor with longer lag to follow up calls and even longer appointment wait times for existing clients. Their installation beats the purpose of having solar since we still end up using grid power with fully charged battery backups.

Hi Sumeet, Our team has reached out and scheduled a site visit for Monday, December 1, to fully assess your system and put together a complete corrective plan. Our goal is to resolve everything as quickly as possible and ensure future visits address all remaining issues so your system performs the way it should. Once everything is functioning properly, our team will also be in touch regarding compensation for the downtime. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Best regards, Citadel Roofing & Solar

Install was fine but the so called monitoring is just a bunch of bull. Can't get anyone to allow you to actually monitor each panel, currently putting out less then they should-the inverter went out after 1 year and they never notified …

Citadel installed my roof panels and battery back-up in 2020. They did an excellent job, at a very reasonable price, and, since installation, have provided superb on-going support. My highest recommendation!!

We recently had our roof redone (per State Farm requirements). We called Citadel, because they installed our battery for our solar a few years back. They removed our solar, redid the roof (beautifully), inspected the solar and reinstalled …

Our solar and Tesla batteries have been awesome! No more power outages and our electric bill is so much lower. We have a pool and central air conditioning so we needed it. Citadel took really good care of us.

I would like, once again, to express my high regard for Citadel and their superb technician, R. Crispin. The return visit today, installing a part that just arrived, completed the reason for this visit. Citadel completely backed their equipment, communication and scheduling were excellent (Meghan Kelly Perez), and Mr. Crispen was, again, wonderfully thorough in diagnosing, explaining the nature of, and correcting the problem, which was basically a Wi-Fi connectivity issue. I am extremely pleased with my Citadel solar roof panel system and the battery back-op for the house, and give Citadel my highest recommendations. I must also add that it is comforting to know such highly competent technicians are part of the company’s team!

Citadel did a great job on our solar and batteries system. They were willing to spend time educating me on the various options and costs, and delivered a system that's been operating without fault for 5 years already. They also helped me with filing for available incentives, a fairly complex process. Highly recommend Citadel!
