Worst roofing experience I've ever encountered. After several phone calls to ARS office, the work was finally completed several months later. During the time ARS was doing the complex we live in, they were using our electricity to run their equipment, without asking first. The new gutters did not match the existing gutter location. ARS staged a lot of their equipment, misc. saw blades and their trash, in plain view, where it still sits, to this day, 6 months later, in the complex parking lot, not to mention us having to pick-up roofing nails, daily, off the pavement. Worst roofing contractor ever!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry you did not have a pleasant experience. Our schedule has been severely delayed since the fires as we lost staff and then rain delays. Your contract does state that you give permission to use the electricity on the building and store materials onsite. I’m sorry you may have overlooked that. It’s rare the crew leaves debris and nails as they clean up throughout the day, however I will meet with all of the crew to remind them to be thorough with the clean up. I appreciate your feedback.

called and made appointment, waited 3 weeks for date. Took time off work to be here and meet with them. They never showed up. When I called, they said oh it must be their error as they see my appointment but it wasn't showing on their other calendar. So they said they would squeeze me in asap since it was their error, she came back and offered me a date 2 weeks away. What a joke, if they can not schedule an estimate I wonder how job schedules work.

Good initial work, but follow up gutter problems are not their strong suit.

ARS was absolutely professional and helpful in their service. The roof inspection included time to ask questions and explore options. The roof repair itself was done expertly and they even made sure that the cleaning of the roof was done by buying additional equipment when they perceived it was needed. After the work was completed, they spent extra time answering further questions I had to my satisfaction. Highly recommended!

We had such an amazing experience with Letitia and the ARS Roofing & Gutters team! Our roof needed repairs prior to a solar installation-and they made what could be a super stressful situation seem seem-less and they walked us through the entire process. We highly recommended this company for the integrity and reliability they provide. Thank you!!

Apologies for the long review, but I want to make sure folks have details. I had my roof replaced in July 2025 by ARS Roofing, and I can’t recommend them enough. The team did an incredible job—top-quality workmanship that not only protects my home but has visibly enhanced its overall curb appeal. For anyone going through the reroofing process for the first time (like me), here’s what I learned and why I’m so glad I chose ARS: 1. A Company That Truly Cares ARS isn’t just a roofing company—they care deeply about their customers, their employees, and even your neighbors. From the very beginning, they made communication easy, all the way up to the CEO if needed. I received a thorough inspection, clear and detailed bid materials, easy payment options, and great educational “leave-behinds” to help me understand the process. Pricing is customized to each home, so I won’t share numbers here—but I can assure you the bid was fair and transparent. 2. A Professional and Respectful Crew Work started June 30 and wrapped up July 7. About five roofers were on-site every day, showing up early and working diligently. I was impressed by how they cleaned up daily—I even checked my cameras, and they never left debris around my property. They treated my home like it was their own. 3. Thoroughness Over Speed My 1,600 sq. ft. home required a full demolition down to the plywood. The crew inspected every inch, discovered areas of dry rot, and walked me through their findings before repairing them properly. This level of care reassured me that the job was done right. While some companies advertise “one-day roofs,” I now believe rushing can lead to oversights. ARS took the time to get it right, and I feel confident my roof will last decades. 4. Start-to-Finish Excellence Once the repairs were done, the reroofing itself was efficient but highly detail-oriented. ARS coordinated the city inspection after completion, and even the CEO came by personally for a walkthrough—explaining how I can

ARS did my roof and I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done. I appreciated that they showed up when they said they would and that the job was completed on time. The team at ARS also kept my property clean during the project. I expected to be inconvenienced while the work was performed and surprisingly I had no inconvenience!! I would recommend anyone who’s looking for a roof to ARS.

Your roof is showing signs of wear, maybe after last winter’s storms, or maybe it’s just gotten to be that time. This guide walks you through the 4 key variables that actually drive that decision: roof age, damage distribution, repair history, and insurance coverage. Key Takeaways - Composition shingle roofs typically have a serviceable life of 20–30 years, depending on installation quality, ventilation, and local conditions. - Widespread or recurring damage usually points toward replacement; isolated damage usually points toward repair. - A repair history that keeps growing is worth tracking, multiple repairs in a short window can signal a roof that’s reaching the end of its useful life. - North Bay conditions (wildfire smoke, wind events, and wet winters) can accelerate wear on aging roofs. - An honest assessment from a qualified roofer is the most reliable way to know where your roof actually stands.Jul 14, 2026Learn more
