I question some of the 5 star's. Here are some of the pictures of the damage, mistakes and short cuts the subcontractor crews caused . Most of the issues have been corrected after a very long wait with two that required additional money …

We appreciate Steven taking the time to share his perspective regarding his roofing project, and we would like to provide additional context regarding the situation. We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship and our commitment to customer service. Steven’s roof replacement was completed on October 13, 2025, and shortly after completion we spoke with his wife, who expressed that she was very happy with the project at that time since he was busy and couldn't speak. Several of the concerns referenced in this review including fascia metal, shingles, and other exterior items had already been repaired or replaced prior to this review being posted. We have continued to return to the property over the course of several months to address concerns, despite the project balance remaining unpaid. Regarding the attic duct issue, this was an unintended mistake related to how the vent was connected beneath the roof. Our crew made a temporary repair to prevent moisture intrusion, and Steven later informed us he would personally handle replacing the ductwork since he had originally installed it himself. We also completed additional work related to bath vents at his request using materials he specifically selected, and we did not charge additional labor for those adjustments. The reason for any initial delays in returning for additional work was due to the customer wanting us to remove an already replaced sheet of OSB along the chimney because it didn't go under the chimney itself. The wood he was worried about was only visible from the attic and had no impact on installing a quality roofing system. The roof was not leaking due to this additional work he wanted completed inside the attic. He let us know that he spent 6 hours in his attic chipping wood away visible from the inside. We agreed to come out and replace this piece of wood with a larger piece to go under the brick. Per a phone call this was to be the final and most pressing issue and we would be complete. Tha

Christian Brothers Roofing installed a ~$20k roof on my home in August 2025. While the roof itself does not leak, my experience with workmanship follow-up and damage responsibility was very poor. I reported a visible shingle installation issue on January 22, 2026. It was acknowledged, but it took over two months, multiple follow-ups, and setting a firm deadline to complete what turned out to be a 5–10 minute repair. During installation, my siding was cracked and displaced near the flashing. I obtained a $2,400 repair estimate. The company denied responsibility, relying on a contract disclaimer, but their photos did not show the actual damage that now exists—only that the siding was close to the shingles. No documentation was provided showing the damage prior to installation. The gutter guard issue was also mishandled. They caused extensive damage during installation, and I had to follow up repeatedly. After 7 weeks with no action, they completed a partial repair but failed to fix a previous missing section we had discussed. When I later asked why they did not tell me they were not going to fix it, I received no answer. The remaining repair was quoted at $50 by another company. There was also a separate issue with a vent cap that I ultimately had to resolve independently. The vent cap had been securely on my roof since 1999. It fell apart and blew off within 3 months of my new roof installation in August 2025. They refused to replace it. Overall, getting even minor warranty work completed required persistent follow-up, and the company did not take responsibility for associated damage. I would recommend caution, especially regarding how pre-existing conditions and post-installation damage are documented and handled. Response to owner - Thank you for the response. I’d like to clarify a few points so readers have an accurate understanding. The shingle issue was first reported on January 22, 2026. While a visit occurred in late February, the repair itself was not

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We take concerns like yours seriously and appreciate the opportunity to provide additional context. First, we’re glad to hear that your roof has been performing well since installation. Regarding the shingle concern, once we received your photo on February 20th, we scheduled a visit within a few days to review the issue with you in person and set up a warranty call back. In regard to the siding, this was discussed prior to contract signing and noted due to its condition, including areas of rot and prior damage. We also documented these conditions with photos before installation and shared those with you. The estimate you later obtained was for full siding replacement rather than a repair, which differs from the scope of any installation-related concerns. That said, we understand how frustrating siding issues can be, especially with pre-existing discontinued materials. For the gutter guards, we acknowledge that some damage occurred during installation. We addressed this by returning to replace the affected sections at no cost. Our pre-installation photos did show that a portion of the gutter guard was already missing, which was not part of the work requested at that time. Regarding the vent cap, it was not removed or altered during the roofing process aside from being painted in place. We were notified several months after completion, following periods of high wind. Once we we're notified, we did offer to replace it even though this fell outside of our workmanship responsibility. We understand that delays and repeated follow-up can be frustrating, and we regret that your experience felt that way. Our intention is always to communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and stand behind our work. We believe we delivered a quality roof installation and made efforts to address concerns as they were brought to our attention.

HOMEOWNER BEWARE: I am extremely disappointed with my ongoing experience with this company. Communication was strong prior to signing the agreement, but it deteriorated significantly once the contract was in place. Voicemails went unreturned, and emails were addressed selectively and only after repeated follow-ups. This lack of responsiveness is especially concerning given that the installation work resulted in damage to my property, including a newly installed door that is now damaged and has had its warranty voided. The siding was improperly installed and attached directly to the door. As a result, the manufacturer informed me that the door’s warranty has been voided — a serious issue with potential long-term financial consequences. This basic installation error should not occur with a professional contractor. Additionally, the initial siding installation was substandard: J-trim was cut mid-run and left incomplete, siding panels were misaligned, and visible gaps were left throughout — defeating the purpose of proper siding and trim installation. Throughout this process, I repeatedly requested to speak directly with the owner to resolve the matter professionally and reasonably. My calls went unanswered. When I finally received a response from the owner, Aaron, it was via email stating they would issue a payment amount determined by the door manufacturer — based on discussions and information that were not shared with me. To my knowledge, the manufacturer did not conduct an in-person inspection, and I was excluded from any communication regarding my own property. Despite one round of attempted repairs, the siding issues remain unresolved. It is not only the visible workmanship that is concerning, but also what may be hidden beneath. The company has attempted to declare the matter resolved upon issuing a check, even though the siding installation remains incomplete and the door warranty issue has not been properly validated or restored. A job cannot reasonably be

We take feedback seriously and always aim to resolve concerns professionally and fairly. However, this review leaves out several important facts regarding this situation. When the homeowner first contacted us with concerns, we made multiple attempts to communicate and work toward a resolution. During these interactions, several derogatory comments were made toward members of our staff, along with repeated demands and threats of legal action. This review was left the same day that we received two threatening voicemails and two demand emails from this customer. Despite this, we remained committed to addressing the concerns in a professional manner. Once the issue regarding the door was brought to our attention, we contacted the door manufacturer to better understand the situation and determine an appropriate resolution. Based on the information provided, we issued a payment to the homeowner in the amount advised in order to resolve the concern. Our team also returned to the property to address the siding items that were brought to our attention. All of the pictures in the above review were from prior to our repairs and were completed prior to this review being left. At the conclusion of these efforts, all concerns raised had been addressed. During our final communication, the homeowner indicated that all concerns had been taken care of and that he would remove his review. Unfortunately, despite the matter being resolved, the review remains posted. We stand behind our work and make every reasonable effort to address concerns when they arise. While we respect every homeowner’s right to share their experience, we also believe it is important for readers to understand when a company has taken steps to resolve a matter in good faith.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Unfortunately, this company made a decision to not take care of an issue that they were responsible for. TLDR: Company had subcontractor install siding. Subcontractor pierced set lines for HVAC system with siding nail causing a coolant leak. Company refuses to pay for damage related to subcontractor work. Stuck with a $2500 bill because they don't want to take responsibility. Only reason I don't give a one star on this review is because in general, they were very easy to work with and responsive. However, as I was told, the upper management of the company decided they weren't liable for the damage caused by their subcontractor. This is why contractors have liability insurance!! They didn't bother to send anyone out to check. Nothing. Never again will I use this company and will actively not recommend them.

Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate you acknowledging that you were happy with the overall experience and communication during your project — we enjoyed working with you as well. We were very surprised to see this review, as we were not given the opportunity to fully discuss or evaluate the situation together before it was posted. Any time a concern is brought to our attention, our goal is always to review the details thoroughly and work toward a fair resolution. Based on the information we currently have, the HVAC line was located inside the wall in a position that was not visible during installation and does not follow typical building standards, which makes situations like this extremely difficult to anticipate or prevent. We still have not received any pictures or any information of what was even found or happened. As of now we have been told that he is still getting estimates for any work that was needed but in the review there is a $2,500 figure that we know nothing about. That said, we absolutely would have welcomed the chance to discuss options together. We take concerns seriously and never ignore our customers or their concerns. We would still appreciate the opportunity to connect with you directly, review the circumstances, and continue the conversation toward a constructive resolution. Please contact us at the office so we can work through this together.

Our roof and gutters sustained tornado damage back in April and a member of the Christian Bros team came out for an estimate. After getting on the roof and crawling around the attic spending close to an hour taking measurements, his response is they are too busy at the moment (related to other hail, wind and tornado damage in the area) and can't give a quote at this time... Why waste my time and yours? The team member wasn't helpful and even seemed to be annoyed that I was inquiring about upgrading my roof vents and would need 2 different quotes (for insurance purposes as they likely wouldn't cover upgraded ventilation, and we would be willing to take on the extra charge). Obviously we ended up going with another company which I suggest you do as well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We always strive to provide prompt, professional service and appreciate the opportunity to clarify this situation. Based on our records, we visited the property on April 24th, shortly after a major hail and tornado event in the area. Our representative was on-site from 4:00 to 4:20 p.m., as verified by time-stamped photos. During this inspection, no roof or attic access occurred, contrary to what was mentioned in the review. For efficiency and accuracy, our team uses aerial imagery for measurements, just like insurance companies. So spending an hour on-site measuring would not align with our standard process. We understand that during large-scale storm events, delays and miscommunications can sometimes happen. However, this is the first contact we’ve had from this individual since the original inspection. We also made an attempt to reach out to better understand their concerns but were unable to connect. At our company, we take great pride in our integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We value every client interaction and continue to focus on providing honest, high-quality service to our community. Especially during times of widespread damage and recovery.

We have had a very poor experience with this company. The initial installation of our metal roof was done without the proper weatherproofing material, which led to a significant leak that damaged our dining room ceiling. After the ceiling was removed, we discovered that the roof had been installed over rotten wood containing a large hole. Although the company returned to re-install the roof, the rotten 2x4s were not replaced. We are concerned about the structural integrity of the installation and the quality of the work. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

Hi Jack, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve encountered—it’s never the outcome we want for any of our customers. After reviewing your project, we want to clarify that the original concern we were called out for involved gutters that were falling off the house and rotted gutter board. We addressed those issues by replacing the gutters and wrapping the gutter board in aluminum as part of the repair. During this process, we identified that the bottom row of shingles on your roof was installed too short, preventing water from properly entering the gutter system. As a result, water has been running behind the gutters—an issue unrelated to the gutters themselves. We provided a proposal in late March offering both a full roof replacement and a perimeter repair option to address this specific roofing issue, even though this roof was not installed by us. We understand how frustrating water issues can be, and we’ve made multiple trips to your property to assess the problem and provide support. As of your review, we haven’t seen any missed calls or messages that went unanswered, but we truly apologize if you felt communication was lacking in any way. While this issue stems from a pre-existing roofing condition, we’re still here and willing to help you find a lasting solution. Our goal has always been to provide high-quality service, and we’re disappointed to hear that your experience hasn’t reflected that. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to revisit any options—we’d be happy to assist. Sincerely, The Christian Brothers Team

Stair step flashing was uneven and caulking was globby & missing in some areas. We had no input in the flashing color though the sales rep claimed that we did. The black color is stark compared to the roof & brick colors and does not complement the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures on our home. Company reps who viewed the workmanship apparently thought it was acceptable. In response to our complaints, they repaired the flashing on only the front of the house but refused to address the caulking. The second day of installation, there was no foreman nor anyone who spoke fluent English on site with whom we could communicate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At Christian Brothers Roofing, we take great pride in the quality of our work and the level of service we provide to each and every customer. It’s always our goal to ensure every homeowner feels heard, respected, and satisfied with the final results. We understand your concerns, and we genuinely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we do want to clarify a few details to provide context. The flashing color was selected and noted in the signed contract, with your husband's initials confirming the choice. Additionally, our VP of Operations had multiple conversations with your husband throughout the installation process, including the first and final days on site. At no point during these discussions—or during the project walk-through with our foreman—were any concerns about the flashing color expressed. In fact, the team was told everything looked good. As soon as the issue was brought to our attention after the job was completed, we took immediate steps to address it. Our Project Manager visited the site to review the concerns, and our foreman returned to make the requested adjustments. After the repair, he completed two final walk-throughs with you to ensure satisfaction, and we were told that everything was acceptable. Despite all of this, we were disheartened to receive threats of bashing us all over the internet shortly after our team left. Still, in good faith, and to maintain a positive relationship, we offered a $250 credit for repainting the flashing—even though the original color was selected and agreed upon in writing. We stand by our commitment to excellent craftsmanship and customer care, as reflected in the many positive reviews and referrals we’ve received over the years. While it’s disappointing when our best efforts don’t result in a perfect outcome, we remain dedicated to continuous improvement and doing right by our clients. We sincerely wish you all the best a

Christian Brothers Roofing did a great job! Clay worked with me and wrote a clear proposal. He sent a very good team and the roof replacement was done in the same day (about 1500 sq ft footprint). The team took care to flash around chimney and power pole. No surprises on workmanship, materials or price. As a home owner for 40 years, the most dreadful part is a roof replacement. The new roof is about a month old and no problems. Thanks to the whole staff.
