Should teach your roofers how to drive and tell them not to honk at people following the road laws.

I paid them $55,000 to reroof part of our house. Ten minutes into the job they said I would have to pay them another $10,000. The first big rain after they completed the job left us we 3 big leaks. They came out and said it would be another $10,000.even though they guaranteed the entire roof.now I’ve got the expense of an attorney.

If you are looking for a company to get the job done in a timely manner and take accountability for their lack of communication, look elsewhere. The gutter and gutter board on the back of my home came loose and was hanging down. Called Bone Dry to get a quote. Cameron (who was awesome) came out on April 8th to assess the issue and give me a quote. I signed a contract that day. Weeks and weeks pass by and I don’t hear anything from Bone Dry regarding a date where they plan to come out and get the job done. I get text messages on April 30th, May 14th, and May 28th saying they eager to begin working on my roof. June 15th rolls around and nothing has been done or communicated. The issue had become much worse , where my gutter and gutter board were now detached from my home and laying across my patio. I call their office and speak to someone who says she will have someone reach out to me by EOD. I hear nothing. I call back the following day and notify them that no one reached out to me as they said they would. The person I spoke to told me she was going to contact the main boss (who was on family vacation) to see if someone could reach out to me. I finally hear from someone and they scheduled a crew to come out on June 17th to get the work done. The crew did in fact show the morning of June 17th and got the job done. As soon as the job was complete, I began getting mass amounts of text messages and phone calls to make sure I pay the invoice. If only I received the same effort to get my roof fixed as I did to receive my payment… Not once I have received an apology, communication where they went wrong, nothing (expect constant hounding for payment).

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the communication and scheduling delays you experienced. You deserved better, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to wait over two months while the issue worsened. We are glad Cameron provided a great initial experience and that the crew was able to complete the work, but we recognize that the lack of communication and follow-through in between fell well short of our standards. Your feedback is being shared with our leadership team so we can address these gaps and ensure this does not happen to another customer. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Bone Dry Roofing prides itself as a proud business to serve its local customers, including essential workers and public servants, offering a 10% discount on any roof repairs. This very promotion, alongside their credible ratings, are the very reasons I sought services for my roof and chimney repairs. However, I deeply regret this decision after being harassed by calls and text messages from John Mollette, having timelines for project completion extended for John Mollette, poor cleanup by roofers, and being coerced and threatened by John into being sent to collections for not making payment immediately. This conclusion makes me wonder who of local customers this company prides itself in serving, because from my experience, Black teachers of West Louisville are not considered. The timelines they give for services and payments are biased — allowing their contractors ample time to schedule estimates, extensions, and repairs while requiring clients to pay immediately. The cleanup jobs they do are poor, and they threaten their clients with being sent to collections without 30, 120, or 180 days' notice. Historically Black consumers have credit scores that fall into the subprime tier (below 600), which limits accessibility for secure housing, auto loans, and credit cards. Scholars have argued that these inequities are directly linked to the aftereffects of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, UN resolution declared as the gravest crime against humanity. Evidently, this company, or perhaps John, is criminal, aroused by propelling structural inequalities and racial wealth gaps for the Black, West Louisville community, teachers, too. It’s evident that greed and bigotry drive its mission, vision, and core values, or perhaps John Mollette himself. I would encourage any public servant or person of color who resides in West Louisville not to inquire about services from this company. They are racist, greedy, unholy, and without discipline.

Hi Mark, we appreciate you sharing this feedback with us. Our records indicate you collaborated with our insurance team to work through your claim after storm damage and a fallen tree. Once this was approved, our Repairs team prioritized your project due to the hole in your roof caused by the tree. We communicated throughout our interactions that payment is expected at the end of each completed project. Your gable vent was not covered by the insurance claim, which is why it wasn't on any of the work orders. Our team decided to take care of that for you, but as before, it is our process to collect payment at the end of each stage of work before proceeding with the next. As you mention in your review, you've met with our manager to provide a check, and at this point, we are just waiting for your gable vent to come in before installing it to complete your projects. Thank you.

Pretty quick and went beyond expectations. They had an challenge of bad siding put in by the previous owner and tackled it and sealed gaps for me. Will definitely use this company in the future to replace the awful siding left by the previous owners. Big shout out to Bone Dry Roofing. They provide pictures each step of the way.
