  Called the company office on a Wednesday, I was told the manager would call me back today to come look at our roof. They never called me back. Thursday I called once again and finally the owner’s brother come out and looked at our roof and told us he could patch the roof on Sunday and that the owner would be calling me with a price. Sunday comes around and no call no show. Monday I called his cell phone and left a message, Never called me back. Tuesday I called the office yet again and told them no one called and no one showed up. After playing games with this company for 6 days finally someone from the office calls me back and tells me “ we are sorry we do not make repairs to your style of roof”. Very unprofessional, don’t waste your time and money with this company.

  I am sorry you are upset with your experience with Burke’s Roofing. You called us for a roof repair and upon Mike Burke’s inspection (our repair specialist), it was discovered you had your roof replaced, five months ago, by a different company. And that failing roof is still under warranty. As I mentioned when we spoke, we do not get involved with finishing projects that other companies have started. Especially if there is a dispute involved, which you made very clear was the case during our conversation. From what you expressed, the other company has not completed the job, and you have not paid them, given the poor workmanship. Again, we do not get involved in this type of situation. I wish you would have called our company to begin with to address your roofing needs. While I acknowledge that Mike could have communicated with you a day or so earlier, we were still discussing whether or not to get involved, as we like to be of assistance to those that call us with their roofing needs. But we ultimately decided against it due to the liability. When reading these reviews, it is important to note, that these disgruntled reviews are not from our customers. Rather, they are from people who have used other roofing companies for their;-) roofing needs, and are unhappy with the results and then contact us to clean up the mess. Simply put, when hiring a contractor, you get what you pay for. ;-)

  My association with Burke's roofing began about 15 years ago, replacing the 20 plus year old shingles on our house. I offered to pay extra for additional items suggested by other companies, and Tim advised against it. So I was impressed with his honesty in addition to his price. Then 9 years ago his crew replaced the shingles on my pole barn, tear off to completion in 5 hours. Most impressive of all was yesterday's roofing of the newly constructed addition to my barn. I first contacted him a few weeks ago at the beginning of the project. I completed the roof sheathing yerday morning, and his crew was here in the afternoon, finishing in 3 hours, just as the rain started.

  Burke’s was a great company to work with for our roof. They provide reasonable quotes, do high quality work, and clean up after themselves. They were also very responsive to an emergency issue we had when a tree fell on our roof. This is a fantastic local business for roofing needs in Washtenaw County.

  We had a great experience with Burke's roofing. I got a prompt response to my call and Mike came out to evaluate the damage to our roof. We had shingles that had slipped and needed to be nailed back down as well as a leak from the chimney area. Mike provided a reasonable estimate and was able to do the job without us having to wait weeks. He was prompt, punctual, professional, responsive and friendly. I will definitely call them again.

  I can thoroughly recommend Burke’s roofing. They installed a roof for me about 6 years ago after high winds tore a large hole in my previous roof. Did a great job in a timely fashion. Recently we had an enormous storm and had some water come in. It turned out not to be the roof but some sealing around one of the windows. Although it was not their roof causing the problem they still fixed my window without charge.
