  Super aggressive and rude sales people doing soliciting. Ask for a permit where needed and they say the office has one when it does not! If they lie about that what else are they lying about. Also on a Friday past 5:30 last person I want to deal with on a Friday after 5pm. Then they say they aren't selling anything and just giving you a free inspection. Last time I checked nothing is free!!! And it's 2026 going door to door is annoying and alienating especially when breaking the law doing it!! Avoid!!! Thank you for your reply but your sales person was not professional at all and you still need to Pay the municipality a Permit fee of only $50 and even when he was back without a permit he was smirking and laughing. This sales person reflects very badly on your company as a whole with his attitude and demeanor! Especially lying about saying he had a permit! Know the laws in municipalities you are doing this in and be above board about it!! Sales guy must be your son!! Sales people don't talk to potential customers and call them Dog or other names. Especially because most of the people on my street do ask me for recommendations on who to hire but with how unprofessional your sales guy was I would never recommend your company! Send him to a sales class or have him read a few books on home service and how to actually gain customers the professional way!

  I had 3 Velux Solar Tubes replaced when Bulldog installed a new roof. The old ones were maintenance free for 20+ years. All of the new ones fill with debris. Bulldog has walked away from the issue leaving me with the job of opening them up every month and cleaning them out. I wish I never hired them.

The dust and debris you’re seeing appears to result from product design or environmental factors rather than the roofing work itself. We’ve also provided you with the Velux warranty information so you can address the issue directly with the manufacturer. While we understand your frustration, we’ve done everything possible to assist within the scope of our work and the manufacturer’s coverage. It’s unfortunate that this review came only after we declined to perform additional unrelated work, but we wish you the best moving forward.

  Random salesperson showed up at my door and when I told them I was using someone else for my repair, they told me they were just trying to help me out and that the other company uses inferior materials. Pretty solid way to make a reputation for yourself.

  I spoke with Tim and apologized for his experience with Bulldog Builders. Agreed to send shingle warranty information in todays mail. I asked if he needed anything in so far as service or touch ups regarding work and the customer declined the offer. We did leave it open that if that changes I'm happy to send one of our in house team out to service and or inspect any issues. Reviewed our internal documents and the notes indicate customer very happy. Not sure what went wrong, customer indicated lack of communication was the main reason for poor review. Apologized again, and hope to repair relationship by sending warranty today and having open invitation to service, discuss or review any issues or concerns.

  Hi Shelli - We apologize if there was any miscommunication. Generally, when people apply for credit or a loan, they understand that a credit report will be run. We reviewed the matter with both Matt and EnerBank to verify that the correct protocol was followed. We were assured that it was. Unfortunately, neither EnerBank nor Bulldog Builders LLC can withdraw an application that has already been submitted by a customer. This event occurred in the fall of 2022, which is over a year and a half ago. It has been difficult to recall the actual dialogue that occurred between the customer and the salesman, but we do not engage in deceptive lending practices. We would not be in business very long if we did. Our notes indicate that the proper protocol was followed, and that the customer was engaged throughout the entire process. We do offer third party financing as a convenience to our customers, but ultimately the customer is responsible for reviewing and submitting their own application.

  Was out walking and a driver of one of their company vehicles flew by twice at very high speed. The second time they drove by, I was crossing the street and the driver accelerated and almost hit me.

  The staff at Bulldog Builders did a very good job replacing the roof on my house..They were here when they said they would be here. They did very good job cleaning up afterwards. They were very efficient and easy to work with, including Matt, who also gets a Five Star review.

  We had 12 windows replaced. The 3 men that came out were totally professional. They covered our hardwood floors and any furniture in bedrooms. You almost didn't know they were in the house. After each room was completed they vacuumed each room. They had all the windows in by noon that day. They finished cladding around the windows by noon the next day. I would highly recommended them.

  We had pretty extensive exterior work done on our home to take care of old rotting wood, including new gutters and soffits on the entirety of the house. They did a great job from start to finish, incredibly helpful, our salesperson Andy even offered up some advice on a couple other things I could take care of myself to protect the exterior of the house.
