  Beware making your decision based on these reviews. Because they had my first negative posting removed. Maybe paid a company to do that, I don't know?? Do your homework before choosing this roofer. As if suffering through hurricane Ian hasn't been enough for all of us! The owner talks a good game. He was not confident he could properly install a metal roof, like the one I now have from another company. So he pushed changes in pricing that weren't necessary. Then he walked off before the tear-off/dry-in was completed but tried to claim it was completed. Then Nate demanded a random percentage of the total cost of the job that "would" have been due as the rest of the job moved forward had he ACTUALLY completed that first stage. But I offered Buckner Roofing an amount three reputable roofing companies said was the cost of a COMPLETED tear-off/dry-in even though Buckner Roofing clearly never even completed the tear-off/dry-in. Instead Buckner Roofing is taking me to court, which is a farce but a travesty that will last two years. Look at the pictures below of what I lived with for six months after a so-called "completion" of a tear-off/dry-in by Buckner Roofing. We also have $3,000- $8,000 in interior damage due to flooding from "so-called finished" tear-off/dry-in by Buckner Roofing. Does it look completed to you? Would you want to live like this after they leave your job-site? Use Google and do your research. The good news is I also can now recommend two very competent local Roofing companies with years and years of 5 star reviews. Check out Sable Roofing & Champion Roofing for yourself.   Hey Tom, hope you’re doing well. We never paid a company to take down your review. Before we even started your project, you unjustifiably cussed me out on the phone with my employee in the truck while I had you on speakerphone, which was in August 2023. I took your anger in stride, and you apologized the next day, and so I decided to proceed with your project. We dried in your roof September 2023. After we finished the dry-in, you went radio silent from our cellphone and e-mail communications. We made many attempts to contact you, and you did not return contact. After that, we hired legal counsel as it was the only option. All the pictures you provided, and your claims, are very far-fetched from the truth. I believe you wanted to get a free roof dry-in from a small business owner who you didn’t think would fight back after you refused payment. Unfortunately for you, you’re learning that is not the case. You made your first, yet still partial payment that’s less than our hard costs, in March 2024. This review was posted right after you mailed that first check, which you only decided to write after the court case was filed against you. Sincerely, Nate Buckner

  When I say this guy is the real deal I mean it! Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and an all around awesome gentleman to work with. Nate the owner personally came out on short notice for some issues we were having with some repairs that were done during hurricane Ian by another roofing company. Came to the house, checked not only on the issues we were experiencing but the overall workmanship of the roof that had been replaced, gave me a few options and best course of action for solving our issues and then he came out on the weekend to handle the repairs himself! You can't beat that kind of customer care and service. Top notch guy and company all around, has my business and recommendation tenfold thanks again Nate an absolute pleasure!

  Buckner Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. We are more than satisfied. They were very patient waiting for us to get our insurance claim and they were quick to respond when we did and finish the job just as they said they would.

  Nate was great to work with, from start to finish. Was prompt with the estimate and provided a good price. The job went well with the inspections. He was able to get the job done in a day. They did a great job doing cleanup, and not leaving a bunch of nails in the yard. Real 5 star service

  Nate Buckner has a great roofing business going. Communication is excellent, keeps you updated and answers your questions. His crews from tear-off to roof completion are timely, efficient, and complete the job in two days. They use quality products to complete the roof, and the finished product is outstanding. Nate meets with you after the final inspection to go over anything else, and to make sure you're happy with the finished product. His prices are reasonable and the quality of work from start to finish is excellent. The crews left the area clean as well. I would recommend Buckner roofing for anyone looking for a new roof.

  Nate runs a great roofing business! He’s easy to communicate with, clear and transparent about the work and timing, super responsive to all questions and requests, and his team does very high quality work. You’ll get a great looking roof with high quality material and at a cost-effective price. And Nate and his company have been there for a community in need in Sanibel.
