  Unsolicited mailed quote $20k below actual cost per insurance. Several weeks after hail damage actually occurred (so were beaten to the punch by about ten other unsolicited contractors, none of which I will use). Mostly a review to remind myself never to use.

  This company cold calls with bogus stories to hook you. If you tell them to stop they just call or text again from a different number. I wouldn't trust people like that with something as important as my roof.

  We had our roof replaced a little over 2 years ago from hail damage. Bison builders came to our door asking to inspect for damage as they were servicing the neighborhood. We decided to move forward with an insurance claim. The first issue came when one of my neighbors convinced some of the workers to use our materials and power to re-roof his garden shed while they were supposed to be doing our roof. I get it- cash is king but it was very inappropriate. Due to the lack of help on our roof the job was not fully completed by the end of day. This is not necessarily a blame on Bison but maybe a friendly reminder to your contracted workers that it is not appropriate to be swayed from the assigned job they were hired for. Next issue- many reputable roofing companies will do an attic inspection prior to slapping on a new roof and replacing old venting systems with up to date “standards”… this was never done. Fast forward we now have mold growing throughout our house and when I asked Bison to come out and check the roof the person went into the attic and kept saying the F word! Apparently many of the soffits were blocked meaning no air can flow causing our house to not properly breathe. I called again and spoke with someone else 10 days ago and was told he would look into this and yet I have not received a call back. Pretty good indicator that they give zero craps about the situation. Just to be crystal clear we never had any issues with mold prior to getting our new roof installed. I am extremely frustrated, stressed and overwhelmed with the ongoing demo that has cost our family significantly as well as the health issues from the mold for myself and children. Did they do a good job roofing? Yes- could there and should there have been an attic inspections done to prevent this nightmare from occurring… ABSOLUTELY. Do I recommend Bison Builders? No. But if you do use them, please request an attic inspection prior to them doing your roof so YOU don’t have to experience this

  Natasha, I spoke with you and told you I’d call you after I spoke with Matt. I did call you back to discuss with you Matt’s assessment and have not received a call back. The roof was replaced and replaced to exceed code requirements with upgraded materials. Matt came out did an inspection and determined Your soffits were clogged which is not apart of the roof replacement. He also discussed with you and your husband that you needed shoots and that your insulation was old and probably needed to be done. None of those items are part of the roof we did 2 years ago. If you’d like to call me back and discuss in detail more of the findings please feel to call me back and we can go over it

  Very rude and shady and pray on old people who don’t know better. Very very pushy to sign a contract. Not happy and a 100 Texas Roadhouse gift card doesn’t cut it for me! Like the owner to reach out to me!

  Just Annoyed at the situation, they claimed I have significant hail damage and there’s no way insurance will deny it even after I told him iv already made two claims for this in the past 5 years and they all have been denied he still pushed to open another claim witch I did because I was convinced but sure enough they denied it again, I just wish these guys knew what was acceptable damage to make a claim and not just throw it at the wall and see if it sticks now I have three denied claims doesn’t look good on my insurance That being said I give two stars because Joe was super nice in the beginning But towards the end, very difficult to get a hold of which tells me he knew this wasn’t going to happen.

  Bison seemed good on the front end, but after the job was done I noticed some sketchy and incomplete work. Some drip edge came loose and revealed they hadn't even cut some of the new OSB decking with a saw. The edge that normally would have been hidden was a shattered mess, looking like they got it to "fit" with a hammer or something equally blunt. Also the roofing nails in the final cap shingles weren't sealed, along with some other areas.

  I hired Bison builders to replace my siding, shingles, gutters and downspouts after a big hail storm. Jhon was the lead man in charge, and did a great job organizing and making sure things got done correctly. He worked with my insurance company so I didn’t need to.

  I had storm damage to my lake home and was having a difficult time getting everything properly addressed through insurance after my claim was initially denied. My representative was knowledgeable, professional, and worked tirelessly on my behalf throughout the entire process. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, I received full approval for all of my storm damage repairs. I truly appreciate the communication, honesty, and hard work.   Anyone having to deal with home damage faces anxiety, forced decisions, and a lot of unknowns. Thank goodness for Ben at Bison Builders! He made this process so easy! He was honest, straightforward, always available, easy-going, responsive! I am grateful for his professionalism and expertise. Above all, he is a gem of a human being. It has been a joy to work with him and I wish him much success! As for the roof, I was very impressed with the speed and the quality of the work. In addition, the cleanup was exceptional!
