  The overall experience with Sprauer Roofing has been a nightmare, and I would recommend that you stay away from this company like the plague. From the unpleasant and unprofessional project managers who ghost you, to the owner himself, who will ignore you after he gets your money, you shouldn't trust them. The whole story: I first engaged them to fix four leaks in my metal roof back in June. Two weeks (the first time it rained after the work) after supposedly fixing the leaks, 3 out of the 4 places were leaking again. I contacted Chris, the project manager who had done the work, about the issue (which he told me to do), and he didn't respond to my messages. I had to contact the main offices to get any type of response, after which Troy, another project manager, came out and did some more work. This was mid-summer, so we didn't see any rain for at least another month or two, but literally the first time it rained again, two of the spots were still leaking. At this point I should have cut my losses and went with another company, since why would I trust Sprauer Roofing to get it right after they failed 2 separate times. Against my better judgment, I called Bill, the Owner, and he said he was taking care of it personally. He sent Chris, the original project manager, out to take a look, and Chris told me he no longer worked for Sprauer Roofing, and asked for more money to fix the same leaks. I of course called Bill and told him about the situation, and he assured me he'd be taking care of it. It's been 2.5 weeks since then, and I haven't heard a word, despite leaving multiple messages. This company lacks any shred of professionalism or accountability, and cannot be trusted to fix an umbrella, let alone your roof. My recommendation would be to stay away from them and get someone who'll actually get the work done.

  I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with one of our project managers. But, once I was made aware of this issue your roof leak was fixed within 48 hours. I'm not sure why you are saying it took weeks. The project manager you dealt with was no longer working here. Maybe you contacted him weeks before you contacted the office?

  We did our research when we needed a roof. We picked them because they had good reviews.when Bill the owner came out to the house I was there to show him my concerns. The biggest one was a leak by my chimney.After they finished my roof they charged us another thousand for the repairs.the first rain it leaked in the same spot. I looked up there and noticed the had the same old flashing around the chimney.They came out 6 times to fix it each time blobbing some kind of calk on my new roof I guess trying to cover it up. Looks like they gave a 5 year old kid caulking gun.

  Tony, I'm sorry that you feel like we didn't take care of your project correctly. We came out there and water tested the leak 6 times. We continued to tell you that your stucco on the chimney was the issue. We were not contracted to do your chimney. We are not stucco contractors.

  I've had the pleasure of working with this company twice now, both times to correct improperly installed vents left by our home builder. Each visit was handled quickly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. Both Mr. Sprauer Sr. and his son were friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. It's rare to find a contractor who is this responsive and thorough. Highly recommend for any roofing needs.

  The absolute BEST customer service from a trades company I have ever experienced in my 11 years living in Austin. David & Bill’s communication was top notch. Pricing was beyond fair - the most reasonable quote by a far stretch. Other companies were trying to charge 2-4 times the amount. David was the most thorough and knowledgeable person when looking at my roof leak. He was the only person out of 4 roofer companies to climb into the attic and find the source of water intrusion. He and his crew were even willing to work with my schedule and did the roof repair on Sunday. I feel so lucky to have given Bill & David a call to check out my roof issue. I will highly recommend them to anyone and 10/10 will be going to them for any future roofing needs.

  I had a great experience with Bill Sprauer Roofing and would highly recommend them. They replaced my roof in one day, and the finished roof looks excellent. Bill was great to work with, and his son David and the crew were professional, thorough, and clearly cared about doing the job right. They also did a great job cleaning up afterward and putting everything back the way it was. I especially appreciated that they went the extra mile with the vents and other details to make sure everything was handled properly. Overall, excellent work, great communication, and a very solid experience from start to finish.

  Bill was the first one to return my call and I'm glad he did! He provided very clear and fair guidance on my issue, was able to see me for an initial inspection within a couple of hours! Before visiting he let me know how busy his crews were if it would need further work. I was lucky where the exterior damage was minimal and he fixed it on the spot. Fantastic service, fair and honest, and gave me a referral for a drywall repair company to help me with the interior damage.

  Bill and his son and their workers are all super nice and gave me a really good price on a new roof. They tore off the old and replaced it in one day, which is amazing to me! I have a really high-pitched roof and they knocked it out of the park. Bill was very patient explaining the insurance details and explaining colors in shingles. My roof looks great in estate gray now.
