  I had given them a 5 but. Update 2 of the 4 skylights leaked because of the flashing job they did incorrectly. So they get 2 stars as they did come back to fix the inside after I had a real contractor come out and fix there mess up. Now it's going to one star as they haven't came back to paint so I intend to bring them a bill for paint and labor as they will not answer me anymore. Definitely would not recommend this company unless you really hate someone and want to cause them a lot of problems. I didn't even charge them for the fix outside, they could atleast have the decency of finishing the inside like we discussed. I was working with Dustin. Worst contractor I've dealt with so far!   Called them on a Thursday evening before 5:00 pm. Person answering phone advised she had just left the office and would call me the next morning. They, she, BDM Construction, never returned my call. IMO, not an acceptable business behavior!

  Estimate to forever! Ended up just paying someone else rather than to wait on them and insurance. Slow estimate time

  Review Response The appointment email we send in bold states : Due to current construction demands allow 7-10 business days for estimates to be sent out. This is our standard and is in the information we send upfront when the appointment is set. We have a CRM system that tracks every interaction we have with our clients as well as when the email is opened by the client. The communication was clear and detailed. Details as follows: Called in 10/10/22 9:57 AM Appointment: 10/11/22 3 PM Email from client wanting update : 10/12/22 Office Manager Response: Our goal is 7-10 business days Client Response: “TY” Estimate sent 10/21/22 - 8 Business Days from appointment date. Response from quote. “Great Quote. Wish I had it before I paid someone else to do work” We appreciate the opportunity but this is our standard and process that is clear from the beginning.

  Had someone come to my house fairly quickly for an estimate. However never received the official estimate via email nor any follow-up call. Ended up signing with another company. I understand everyone is busy right now however I would have thought they would want to at least put in their bid for a $15,000 project?

  Called for estimate on 2-28. Came out a couple days later, very friendly. Agreed to do work, will call me back to set up time. Called them back on 3-11 and 3-12. Said would send e-mail for me to agree to work. Never received E-mail or phone call. If you don't want the job just say so, no need to string me along for 3 weeks when I could have had someone else do the job. Extremely disappointed.

  BDM Construction exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. They communicated clearly, showed up when they said they would, and the quality of their workmanship really speaks for itself. It’s obvious they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about customer satisfaction.   Without a doubt, the most professional contractor I've worked with in the Tri-cities. They were punctual, had all of the materials they needed each day so that there were no stoppages, and completed the work in a timely and high-quality manner. This was mostly interior work and everyone that came inside was very respectful of us and the property. Definitely would highly recommend them.

  Reece and his crew installed a split unit in our mobile home and the work they did was over the top with quality, cleanliness, respect and the workmanship. We definitely recommend bdm construction. OUTSTANDING.

  I chose BDM CONSTRUCTION for my addition because there were afew challenges. I was not DISAPPOINTED. Caroline the project manager meet each one of them head on.She was always informative and on top of things if a problem arose she addressed then and always keep me updated when people would be over and time. Caroline was EASY to talk to and importantly LISTENED to each concern I had. THANNK YOU BOTH CAROLINE AND BDM CONSTRUCTION! WE LOVE OUR ADDITION.

  We searched a couple years for someone to Redesign / Remodel a kitchen and bathroom of our lake home that is 25 years old. Fortunately, we found BDM Construction. Their quote estimate was on track and only deviated if we made changes. The estimated timeline for completion was followed and only deviated if it was out of their control. They were really easy to work with and didn't pressure us to make decisions we were not quite ready to make in the process. Caroline managed our project and is "Top Of The Line" . She gets to know you and what you want while being extremely knowledgeable with suggestions and making you feel comfortable. We would highly recommend Caroline and BDM Construction!   We had a huge renovation on our home partly using a VA grant. BDM construction was wonderful with the paperwork and meeting timelines. Project manager Caroline Smith worked hard to get things done we needed by certain dates all while we lived in our home. We recommend Michael and his staff at BDM to all veterans and non veterans. We will definitely use them again in the future.

  We recently used BDM Construction for a full kitchen remodel, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Caroline did an incredible job designing our new cabinets—she really listened to what we wanted and the layout is perfect. The installation went smoothly, and the quality is top-notch. I also have to give a shout-out to Reece, who was great to work with throughout the whole process. The team made everything easy and stress-free.   We had a fantastic experience with BDM! I am a real estate agent and I have seen a lot of New Construction Homes, I met Michael when I sold one of his speck homes in Kingsport. I loved his work and knew I wanted him to work on our home. From start to finish, our project manager was outstanding—Caroline was always keeping us informed with weekly update calls and always being available to answer any questions. The response time was excellent, and every step of the process felt well-organized and efficient. She was so helpful in picking out the details and and giving me suggestions on layout and design. The contractors were professional, polite, and always respectful of our home. They took the time to clean up after themselves each day, which we truly appreciated. The attention to detail and quality of work exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a builder who values communication, professionalism, and top-notch craftsmanship, we highly recommend BDM!
