  I hired Ava to side my house in Tonawanda in 2023. As soon as I signed the paperwork salesperson Adam's attitude became negative towards me, and I rarely saw him while the work was being done. When the crew showed up, they nearly started working on the wrong house, and counter to plan they blocked our driveway with the dumpster. The workers were nice, seemed technically proficient, and a lot of good work was done to be sure. But the manager I met named Serg was short-tempered and insulting; he would later call me on a Saturday afternoon and interrogate me rudely. They left a bunch of supplies, my property was a mess, they broke a light fixture, and they didn't follow instructions. They also charged me extra, which Adam said he would adjust but only adjusted favorably for him. And they didn't complete the main tasks I asked for. Serg and Adam were never with me at the same time and would confuse me with industry jargon and conflicting terms. When they left I knew these problems existed but I was so happy to see these rude men leave I kept my mouth shut; however two years later I am still finding debris and nails, and discovering details I wished they had done. I have to take responsibility for the result I got, but I do reget hiring Ava. It bothers me to read reviews about how clean they work, as my experience was far different.

  Very disappointing. Said they were coming and didn’t without letting me know. Added costs without asking. Drove a roofing nail through my ceiling. Waited until the roof was done to say the gutter job would be weeks later, leaving me with no gutters. And takes no responsibility for any of it.

  I’m sharing this as a warning to others looking for a roofing contractor. When I hired this company in 2025, I believed their work would be completed by their own internal team. Instead, the job was handed off to a subcontracted crew without any clear communication beforehand. The group that showed up did not meet the level of professionalism I expected. They came across as inexperienced and disorganized, not what you’d anticipate from a company charging premium rates. It felt more like a makeshift operation than a skilled, reliable crew. For the price I paid, I expected transparency and a higher standard of service. Finding out the work was outsourced at the last minute was frustrating and disappointing. Overall, the experience left me feeling misled and not getting the value I paid for.

  We found ourselves needing to replace our 34 year old roof and gutters. Ava roofing was recommended by a friend who had their house done and was very pleased. I called your company on August 5, 2025 at 9:58 am. I got a recording that said I had reached the desk of Natalia. It asked me to leave a brief message of the service I needed and my address and that someone would get back to me. I did as instructed and waited, and waited, and waited. As I write this, it has been almost seven weeks and I still haven’t received a call. I guess we weren’t worth your time.

  5-Star/A+++ rating from this family for the following reasons: very thorough analysis of our roof and detailed explanation of the solutions available initially (given options and recommendations -not one size fits all- but ultimately our call). Friendly crew that took meticulous care to prepare our yard first and clean up after the job. Multiple visits from multiple supervisors during the process assured me they have excellent communication and quality control. Lastly, for an excellent price we have a very smart-looking roof that not only protects but greatly enhances the look (and value!) of our home. I have very positive things to say about the AVA Roofing team - thank you everyone for your 1st class work!

  Excellent experience. Very prompt, started and ended job when scheduled. All people involved from workers to owners were very professional. At the completion my property was cleaned up like they were not even there. I would highly recommend to anyone whos looking for siding to be installed to a commercial building.

  I was very impressed with AVA Roofing Company. It all started with my sales consultant who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in me making my decision. The roofing crew was very experienced and did a great job and also did outstanding cleaning the roof materials from the old roof. Every one that I dealt with at AVA roofing was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company to everyone who is interested in a new roof !!!   Hi Angel Moses, we want to start off by saying thank you for your business! We have been in business for over 18 years and stand by our work day in and day out. There are a lot of things that are inaccurate and missing from your review. Here are the facts of the situation. When you called the office, they didn't tell you I was on "VACATION" . I was in PA for flat roof certification. The reason I wanted to be there personally is because I was always the one that came out to talk to you before, even Sunday morning . We had tornado winds so yes there has been driven rain "Unlike traditional rainfall, which descends vertically, wind-driven rain, driven by severe winds, can arrive at your home almost horizontally. This can result in moisture reaching the undersides of your roof". I was planning on coming Monday morning to see the problems. 1. One top shingle slid off (easy fix and not leak related) 2. The flat roof pipe boot looks like someone ripped it and you can see the GREY sealer on the pipe boot. In our final photos we see the pipe finished and no tears and in place. (not sure who tempered with it but that looks cut on purpose) 3. Your old gutters need to be replaced and were leaking long before we did the roof (we have photos of damaged gutters in the company cam) 4. Out of 80+ photos we sent to you in the company cam you didn't share any photos of finished felt roof and upper roof. I wish I didn't come to this but you made it happen. YOU have voided your warranty for unpaid invoice balance. (we'll be happy to issue it when the balance is paid) You ignored our emails/phone calls and txt messages. 1. 1st day - We needed to change all the plywood and spoke to the customer in the morning about signing the change order, purposely delayed it until 4 pm, (we only did about 300 sq ft of roofing, we could have done half of that roof that day, the job got pushed into another day and we had some bad weather) not once we leave the roof open to get wet. 2.
