  I hired Apex to replace the roof on my residence after it suffered wind and hail damage. In the 5 years we lived in our home prior to having Apex replace our roof, it never leaked. Less than a year after installation, we had a significant leak in the garage that took out a portion of the ceiling. Apex made an attempt to fix the leak and to their credit replaced the damaged drywall and repainted the damaged area. Less than one year later, the roof leaked again in the same area! This time, the damage was worse than before. What did Apex do? Tell me their warranty doesn’t cover the damage and to call my insurance company. To summarize: Before Apex, no leaks. After Apex, repeated leaks, damage to the interior and complete avoidance of accepting responsibility for their workmanship. They do not stand behind their work, so their warranty has no value to customers.

  We’re very sorry to hear about your continued frustration with this situation caused by ice damming. We understand how concerning interior damage can be. After the first incident, we responded promptly, inspected the roof system thoroughly, and found no installation defects. Although the issue was determined to be related to ice damming caused by structural heat loss in a dead valley area, we repaired the interior damage at no charge as a goodwill gesture. Following the recent snow and ice storm at the end of January 2026, the same condition occurred again in the same area. As we explained, ice dams are weather related events caused by melting and refreezing snow due to insulation and ventilation conditions within the home. Since installation nearly two years ago, the roof has not experienced any rain-related leakage and the roofing system itself continues to perform properly. While we certainly stand behind our workmanship, warranties do not cover damage resulting from ice damming or structural heat loss conditions. These events are typically handled through homeowners insurance. We remain willing to discuss long-term prevention options, including insulation improvements or ice dam mitigation solutions, to help prevent future occurrences. We genuinely value our customers and are always available to discuss concerns directly.

  Disappointing experience. Got quote to fix leak in roof. Then ghosted by contact who came out to give quote. Called several times both direct and through office, but he never returned my calls.

  Made an appointment with me and they didn't show up. They didn't even bother to call and say they weren't coming, I had to call them.

  Evan, a new & independent owner of Apex in Lexington, KY. is a wonderful person who went above & beyond for me with my insurance company. He assisted me every step of the way by accompanying the insurance adjuster, sending forms & photos to my insurance company & public adjuster. He made several visits to my home, taking photos & submitting shingles from my roof to an independent party my insurance had requested. Evan was always prompt to return my phone calls & texts. He consistently treated me with the utmost respect. I highly recommend Evan with Apex for roof repair & replacement.

  Evan and his crew showed up on time and did a fantastic job! I couldn’t believe how quickly these craftsman completed the job of tearing off my old roof and installing a new roof in the sweltering heat. My roof looks amazing and unlike any others on my street!!!!

  I had gotten my roof done back in 2020 with this company and that experience was wonderful. I had noticed some things just one day ago called them up and Daniel came right out and within less then 24 hours everything was taken care of with no issues! I highly recommend this team for your roofing needs!

  Apex Roofing did a great job replacing my shingles and roof vents. Daniel and his crew worked efficiently and quickly to remove and replace my old shingles and vent caps. They arrived first thing in the morning and work was completed with everything cleaned up by lunchtime! I really appreciated the care they took for me and my property, like making sure my car was parked on the road so I wouldn't be blocked in, moving my flower pots to a safe distance and taking special care of a newly planted small tree close to the house. I had received quotes from sales representatives of two other roofing companies, but they added extras I didn't need for my small house. As a project manager, Daniel understood and explained the entire process and helped me understand what was actually needed.

  I had a roof installed by Apex roofing in 2023. This year we are selling our house and although our workmanship warranty is out of warranty. And the inspector notated a couple things about existing flashing that was not replaced because insurance would not cover it and I didn’t wanna pay anymore money than my deductible, I was still able to get excellent service from Apex roofing to address this for me so we could sell our house without additional issues

  I couldn't be happier with my new roof! From the very first phone call to the final cleanup, the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. The team was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. They took the time to walk me through the process, answer all of my questions, and helped me feel confident in my decision. The installation crew showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to every detail. I was especially impressed with how clean they left my property when the job was finished.   You will not find a better roofing company to work with! It is an understatement to say that Justin Cada went above and beyond for us. He worked hard to get our roof covered by insurance after some hail damage. We would have been denied coverage without Justin’s knowledge and persistence. His crew was awesome and he personally checked the work during and after. Hands down the absolute BEST!!!

  Update to earlier review: In March 2026 I contacted Apex Roofing to have an area of my roof checked out following some strong strong wind & storms. Evan Faassen, Project Manager, came out to the house and inspected the area of the roof I was concerned about and also inspected the rest of the roof. Everything was fine, but it was good to have "peace of mind" and to have Evan inspect the roof since it isn't easy to see every part of the roof from the ground. Evan was very professional and it was a pleasure getting to meet him. I highly recommend Evan as well as Apex Roofing. From October 2023 A majority of the homes in our community needed new roofs due to hail damage from earlier this summer. A neighbor had Apex do an inspection and set up a roof replacement. I reached out to Apex and Benjamin Day did an inspection and found hail damage. Benjamin then returned to my house to meet with the homeowner insurance adjuster at which time it was determined that we had enough hail damage to qualify for a full roof replacement. My wife and I met with Benjamin to select the type & color of roof shingles we wanted and to plan out a time frame to do the roof replacement. Benjamin arranged to have 3 pallets of roofing supplies (shingles, vent covers, nails, etc.) to be delivered to our house the day before the roof replacement was scheduled for. The day of the roof replacement, the Apex crew showed up at 7 am and I was expecting about 8 workers to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised to see that 16 workers had shown up, especially since the weather forecast was calling for rain to start at around 4 pm to 5 pm that day. The Apex crew removed the old roof shingles, put down the new roof shingles, cleaned up, and were done in 4 hours - well before the rain was supposed to start. They put down tarps all around the house to catch the old roof shingles as they were being removed and the crew did a great job picking up all the debris before departing our house. The crew worke

  Apex replaced my roof after extensive storm damage. Evan went above and beyond! He quickly came over to take a look and put tarps on to prevent further damage. He answered all my questions and helped me navigate the insurance process. He responded quickly to all communication. Very impressed with his integrity and work ethic.The roof turned out great! If I could give more than five stars I would!
