  Came out for a quote was told I would receive the quote by the end of the day. Never received quote. Called, texted the estimator and called the office. Was told I’d get a quote by the end of that day. Still never received a quote. Wasted my time taking time off work so they could look at my roof for a quote.

  Do Not Use!! Took items including gutter inserts, shutters and never returned or replaced. Damage to shrubs. No call/no shows. Failed to return calls and failed to make or keep appointments. Rude and threatened to damage property. Never completed work contracted for including expensive windows not installed and still missing shutters. Failed to respond to legal action up to this moment.

  We had an extremely disappointing experience with Amherst Roofing. We reached out to them to set up an estimate for our roof and gutter damage. The receptionist was very helpful and she promptly scheduled our estimate for the beginning of the following week. On that day, the employee showed up on time and took the time to examine our damage and provided his feedback about what he thought, explaining he would send us a quote by the end of the day. At the end of the day we had not received a quote, but we do understand people are busy and decided to wait a few days before calling. A few days later, we still had not received the quote and decided to call. We were told there wasn’t anyone in the office and they would return our call as soon as they could. It has been over a week with several failed attempts of contact and still no quote. It disappoints me to see a small local business act so unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and keep on looking.

  Don’t waste your time booking an estimate. They couldn’t be bothered to provide a quote despite numerous follow up attempts on our part. I would however recommend contacting Buffalo roofing and Ava roofing. They were very prompt and professional!

  I’m not sure why this company advertises. They apparently are to busy to send a follow up proposal or call the customer back after repeated attempts for a status. Very disappointing, that you don’t practice what you advertise. I will be searching for a more responsive company to conduct business with, and suggest you do the same.

  I had a great experience with Amherst roofing. I was so impressed with their sales person, Vadim L. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and that I was satisfied with every little detail of the proposal. I called and emailed several times just to make sure I understood everything, and he was very responsive happy to help each time. He even came back to my house to explain things in more depth and to show me more samples so that I could be very confident in the roofing materials that I’d be getting. He didn’t try to upsell me and was honest about what he thought I actually needed vs. didn’t need, and he explained the roof science behind his reasoning. I think you’d be in great hands if you chose to go with Amherst roofing for your roof!

  They answered my phone right away, made the appointment within the same week, Vadim showed up on time and gave me a free estimate and explained to me very nicely what needs to be done and my options for roofing repair, and they fixed it on the same day at a reasonable price!

  Great company! Vadim was awesome! Nick was very helpful too. The crew was very professional and quick. They stayed late to make sure everything was done before the expected rain the next day. My skylight they replaced is perfect. Would leave a 10 star if possible.
