  People have gotten entirely too comfortable spreading hate online. This is the owner. This is what he thinks of people that don’t look like him. It’s truly sad. It should not be supported.

  Overpriced. Pretty sure they didn’t solve our leak issues. Go with another roofing company.

  They cut corners, make sure you verify that they did do all the work listed in the contract, as I found out later they only replaced the shingles and nothing else (vents, drip edge, flashing etc). I too like another reviewer had leaks, two improper sealing at furnace vents and a third that they eventually blamed on craks in the chimney. I hired another company that saw nothing wrong with the chimeny and sealed the flashing which fixed it.

  My insurance agent recommended Ameritex, but that turned out to be bad advice. Initially I was happy, but then it rained and there were 2 leaks. Luckily, both leaks were over the patio so no water got in the house. I told them about both leaks, but one was worse, so we focused on that one first. Initially, they said was because they hadn't gotten the skylight covers in, but it still leaked after those were replaced. Then they said it was because the skylight hadn't been caulked properly. Then they said it was something else. Eventually they sent a guy out who said there was a piece of the decking that was not done right and they would have to tear off a whole bunch of shingles and fix it. I was pretty upset that this was not done during the initial install. They knew there was a problem, but they decided to just slap some shingles on it and cover it up. So, they came out and tore a bunch of shingles off and finally fixed the problem. That took care of one leak, but not the other. So we turned our attention to fixing the other one. After several failed attempts at fixing it, they blamed it on the chimney. So, I hired a chimney guy who came out and said there was nothing wrong with the chimney. Then they said it was the chimney cap. The guy told me the chimney cap would be $800 and I agreed to pay it. Their guy came out and measured and made the cap and installed it. They weren't too happy, and wanted me to have it done somewhere else, but that would just start the finger pointing. So, I insisted that they fix it. After the new one was installed, I had the guy who said that would fix the problem come out (he had been right about how to fix the other leak) and inspected it to make sure it was done to his satisfaction. He said it was great and the leak was surely fixed. Of course, the new chimney cap made no difference and it leaked as bad as ever. Eventually, they did a sealing treatment that did fix the problem.   Changed two family roofs at the same time. Ours was the one who received all the damage and our insurance company doesn’t want to replace it neither on 2025 nor in 2026.

  There sales guy was at my house 2 days after I called them doing the estimate. We got to the insurance company and once approved got all the work done fast. They did the roof, gutters, windows, paint and even pool tile. Can not recommend these guys enough!

  We used Ameritex based on a referral from a friend and are glad we did because they did an amazing job. They were attentive to our questions/needs, arrived on-time, and completed the job in the same day. The office staff are great too.   AmeriTex Roofing has been my go-to contractor since we moved to TX in 2006. We've been through several hail storms together, and I am always impressed with their services.   I have been working with Bill and Laurie for about 15 years, they are very nice and I get immediate response from them whenever I contact them. Honest quotes and no gimmicks, they will do what they say. Ameritex is also local, and I can call them even for small repairs, which they cover under warranty. Price is reasonable as well

  Rapid response to assess roof damage, indicated by water spot on ceiling, and weird corner gutter issue. Provided an on the spot estimate, and did the repair immediately. Also without me asking, they surveyed the rest of the roof for any additional problems, not finding any. The corner gutter needed reconfiguring to stop water gushing into the flower bed below. They also added length to two downspouts as I requested. Handled by a different group of people, but provided the same excellent competent service and repair. Ameritex is in my contacts as first call for roof and gutter repair or replacement.
