Be careful using this company, they don't pay their vendors and that could leave you owing money after the job is complete.

Roofers were replacing the condo roof. It was necessary for my AC unit to be moved. I hired a HVAC company that moved the AC (July 23) and was working fine. After a storm the roof was damaged and several units had water damaged. My unit …

As owner of American Roofing & Sheet Metal, I feel compelled to reply to this customer’s review of our company. American Roofing & Sheet Metal has a first-class reputation both in our reroofing and service department. This customer (Justin Sasso) who gave us a one-star review has mislead the public with this review and made it sound like we’ve been there trying to fix a roof numerous time. The first time we were on this roof was in 2018 at which time we did a repair and advise the customer that this roof needed to be replaced. We could not guarantee any repairs due to the condition and age of the roof. However, within the last few weeks he called the office for a service office call. We told him that that roof needed to be replaced and he told us he didn’t care, he just wanted it fixed for now. We went out there and did the best we could. Once again, he was advised that we could not guarantee any work. Once he received our invoice two weeks ago, he apparently didn’t like the invoice and wrote up this review. American Roofing & Sheet Metal stands by all its work and that is why we have a nearly 5 Star Google Rating and 9 Year GAF Presidential Award winner. For anybody reading this review, we will be happy to provide you with pictures of the condition and work that was performed on this roof to help prevent any more leaking. However, because of the condition of this, it is unrepairable.

They talk a good game on the phone, but the worst, and most dishonest place to buy metal. It took me almost 2 hrs of getting the wrong metal, just to find out they did not have the metal that they told me they had. It's a good thing I checked cause they were going to send me on my way with product that was half as strong as I needed. 5$ to cut a piece of alluminum half as well. I'm so disappointed and now very far behind on my Job.

Andrew, Our company does not sell metal products, so maybe you have us confused with the metal supplier you contacted? If we can ever help you out with any roofing needs, please give us a call. We are very sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience.

This is the second time using American Roofing and Sheet Metal. The first time was about 10 years ago in our previous home after a tropical storm. Both times they have been quick to respond and had someone out for a quote and a total re-roof scheduling within days. They are extremely attentive and did not cut any corners. After the most recent roof replacement, we realized our gutter gutter guards weren't working up to our standards (not their doing), but they offered us some solutions and fixed that issue as well. We couldn't be happier. And we all know dealing with contractors can be a nightmare. Not with them. Five stars across the board!

Thank you for choosing American Roofing and Sheet Metal again! We're glad to hear we met your expectations once more and addressed the gutter guard issue promptly. We appreciate your trust and look forward to assisting you with any future roofing needs.

American Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc did an outstanding job from start to finish! The team was professional, on time, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained every step of the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The quality of their workmanship is 2nd to none. After they completed the project, they left everything spotless. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend American Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy locally owned company. We used American Roofing & Sheet Metal last year to replace our roof. Having replaced our roof 20 years ago with shingles we were interested in what a metal roof could offer. We diligently received several quotes and it was clear that we wanted to give them our business. Our project manager Jason was with us every step of the way, from design through install, even making follow-ups at intervals after the project was complete, just to make sure that the finished project lived up to our standards. The roof looks beautiful and we're so pleased with the workmanship and service. Soon after our roof was replaced we had another contractor cause damage to the roof. We were crushed. Jason bent over backwards to help, by advocating for us with the contractor who caused the damage and by helping with repairs. While some companies would prefer not to get involved and protect other contractors, Jason quickly spotted the damage and went to work helping us navigate our way through the ordeal. This company does quality work, they are generous and they treat their customers with respect and kindness. I have worked with several types of contractors throughout the years and I place American Roofing & Sheet Metal at the top. If you're looking for a roofer and you see this review, do yourself a favor and call them for an estimate. ***update: I used American Roofing & Sheet Metal a second time while installing a photovoltaic solar system. Jason and his team made sure the solar contractor took every precaution to make sure they installed their equipment using the best materials and techniques. Another set of thumbs up for this company. Thank you!

Charles did a great job communicating the work that was going to be done and answering all of the questions I had. When you have to have the same job done on your house more than once you tend to have lots of questions. It was reassuring knowing that my questions and concerns would be answered or taken care of by Charles in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again. I appreciated the excellent customer service.
