During our call, I explained the difference between a standard quote and an insurance restoration service, emphasizing that restoration work is complex and goes beyond just providing a quote. You mentioned the damage wasn’t obvious and had some pre-existing issues. Given that your insurance carrier had already declined coverage, I was transparent that getting approval would require significant time and expertise, though there could be no guarantees. As experts in this field, we dedicate about 8–12 hours to these projects, which isn’t feasible without a commitment. Our team has been extremely busy since Hurricane Helene, so we’re focusing on clients ready to proceed with our services. Just as Public Adjusters won’t proceed without a contract, we need the same commitment to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. I understand your disappointment, and I apologize that we weren’t the right fit. I appreciate your understanding of the time and dedication involved in this work, and I hope this clarifies our position.

  Paid $1800 in February to have part of my roof replaced. They did it 2 times attempting to match color. During Hurricane Helene, the only part of my roof that was damaged was where they had just repaired. Leaking water into the house and they wanted $900 to come tarp it and then quote me to repair it again. Went with another company and they got a perfect match to the existing shingles and a lower price. They told me that the repair did not get secured on the top row and that’s why they came off. Aldridge denied that. I did not check but I feel that if your repair is the only part that can’t hold up to a storm, it shouldn’t be another bill to repair it.

  Gavin came out to look at my siding and also some issues around my house. He showed up exactly on time, with great communication beforehand. He was really honest with me about the scope of work and did not try to upsell me at all (how refreshing!). I will not hesitate to work with him again in the future and Aldridge will be my first call if/when the next repairs are needed on my house.
