WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Scott is lazy unskilled incompetent contractor. During the period he was given to do a siding job he failed. Despite daily conversations, detailed completion checklist, installation guides over basic knowledge multiple problems continued. Any contractor should not have to be told that siding must be snapped together, that siding must have nails, flashing tape, house wrap, starting strip has to be level for siding to be level. He had a easy job most of the work was done, just pure incompetence. I went over these things over and over with him, goes to show you cant fix stupid. Currently my home that according to Scotts documentation is under a "workmanship warranty" the siding has had to repaired multiple times and now it areas where it was glued is completely gone. Currently under insurance claim and I hope they come after Alco. The county has applied a a reduction on property taxes for permitting the work of such a horrible company and my house is at such risk for structure damage. Alco caused so much damage to areas of my home that didn't exist prior to their work it is sickening. Addressing issues with Scott such as...why siding doesn't have nails was met with a unhinged screaming lunatic. He would become so angry not that the work was clearly not good but that I was pointing it out. He always has a reason to why his behavior or incompetentance existed. Scott from the beginning had tried to remove his accountability by offering me money directly back that he had over bid to the manufacturer. Sounded good to not replace brand new custom aluminum and have money in my pocket when the siding was the issue, but then he began damaging that. I desperately wanted for this company to just do the job. I did get him and his crew bottles of booze with a Christmas card as a token of appreciation for people that were working at my home. I also gave them leftovers for lunch after Thanksgiving, my kindness was clearly viewed as someone to take

This homeowner bought her siding from a box store and installed it herself. When her siding failed, she went after the siding manufacturer. She gathered extremely high bids in the 40k range to replace the vinyl siding on her small home probably hoping the manufacturer would write her a check for 40k and she could install her own siding again. We were sent to her home by the manufacturer to give an honest bid for her siding replacement. Our bid came in half of what she was claiming needed for the job. She was upset when she found out she wouldn't be receiving a check to install her own siding and that we would be hired by the manufacturer to install the siding on her home. Our agreement with the siding manufacturer was that we would receive half up front and then when the job was completed Miss Merkner would have to sign off for us to be paid the remainder of the contract and only with her satisfaction would we receive the final payment. She reminded us during the job several times that she had to sign off on the job or we wouldn't get paid the second half of the money and that's when it clicked why she had become so difficult. She tried everything she could to run us off the job. She would give us a huge lists every day to fix things that there was nothing wrong with. She would leave her gate locked on purpose and leave home making it almost impossible for us to even do our job. It is our belief that she wanted to try and run us off the job to pocket the remainder of the money and finish the job herself. This job was started on the front end of winter and we had only a few pieces of siding left to install to finish and for no reason she shut the job down and wouldn't let us finish our work. The manufacturer was brought in and sent out an inspector to look at our job. We were paid by the manufacturer for our work without her signing off as the inspection came back in our favor. The attorney for the manufacturer told us in all his years of practice he had never met a

We were impressed by the expertise and professionalism of this company. Scott gave us an estimate very quickly and had our new roof installed in a week. The crew was done in one day and did an excellent job cleaning up. They left our property cleaner than it was when they started. Our roof is beautiful and we are happy to recommend them.
