  Thank you so much for your review. You are correct our reviews are fantastic because we do excellent work. Unfortunately "changes" wood issues cannot be discovered until after tear off when there is no attic access. In your case you had almost 3 inch spaced decking, we had no choice but to add wood to properly adhere our shingles. Our contract is very specific regarding the price of wood prior to contract signing, and we are lower than most companies in our market. Concerning the insurance claim, you notified us the day of work that this was an insurance claim because of the wood issue, we then got involved with your insurance and they paid 90% of the cost. The reason there was a difference is because your adjuster would not factor waste, had nothing to do with overlay. Definitely something you can contest and get paid for. We are happy to be involved with insurance companies from the start. This was not the case, it was retail because you paid by personal check at the beginning, you handled the claim, then initially refused to pay us the balance because of the wood addition, and wanted to renegotiate the contract. These reviews are always difficult for us to address because you make us sound like bad people just for wanting to get paid for the work we did, even though you agreed to the contract at the beginning. Your $18000 roof project cost you $3000, some of which you can definitely still adjust with your insurance company. Your deductible is the law, people can try to get out of paying that all they want, but they have to pay it. Concerning the extra materials that were not used. We always order extra materials so our installers do not run short, then pick them up after. It does not mean something was not used that should have been a discount given. I noticed you did not mention in your review how great your roof looks, and it does. It will last 30 years.

  This guy is the type of nightmare contractor you hear stories about. Avoid at all costs. We had a really frustrating experience with poor communication and a lack of transparency around pricing. We were never told that the final cost of our roof would be about $3,000 more than the original quote—no call, no email, no text. When I asked about it, instead of getting a straightforward explanation, the owner got defensive and insisted he had called, which he didn’t. There was also blame placed on us for not responding to calls that were never made. Ironically, once there was an issue, communication suddenly wasn’t a problem and we started getting emails—but none of that happened when the price changed. Instead of just explaining the increase, the situation escalated into repeated threats of placing a lien while we were simply asking for clarity on a pretty significant bill change. I do NOT reccomend.

  Not good service, Doug curse me out. Said some really nasty things about me and my children. All because I couldn't pay in full. I didn't go though my insurance, I paid cash. The guys were smoking cigarettes, I don't smoke, so it was nasty. Broke my shovel. Some things are missing out of my garage. They held my deposit for 4 months before they did the work. BAD experience !!!! Now they want too lie !! Wow. Not good business.Now he's trying too day l owe 9000.00 I have the bill. I'll pay what the bill says. I'm ready for court. Bring your copy of the bill. I'll have mine. My bill will be pay off next month. Enjoy your life !!!

  Discount Roof did my fascia a few years ago. I called them and told them that the metal looked ripped and not neatly cut. It was literally just nailed up there like kids did it. They told me they would come out and fix it. Cut to a few months ago I called to see if they would still fix it because they never came out. They more or less told me that if I purchased a new roof, that they would come out to fix it. Laughable at the least. I paid another company to redo my fascia.

  Sir, Discount Roof Inc has a lifetime workmanship warranty, one of the best in the industry. When you called about your problem we immediately responded and sent out someone to inspect. We discovered the chimney flashing was different from when we were completed with your job. We asked you about it and you told us that you had a handyman/tuckpointer/insulation/roofing guy tuckpoint your chimney and insulate your attic, but he would not have messed with it. We tried to show you pictures how it was when we completed your job to the shape it is now. We even emailed the photos to you. You did not want to even look at them. You expected us to fix your handymans bad workmanship for free. You persisted in calling and harassing our office, threatening our employees. Now you have made libelous statements on a public forum, so now we have record of it. You have been referred to our attorney. Pictures do not lie. We protect our reputation because we go the extra mile at the beginning. Thank you.

  Not happy with them. Been waiting for the owner to “get back to me after some research”. This Monday will be 2 weeks I have been waiting. They did the SmartSeal on my roof, the crew was very nice. I’ll give them that. But I should have backed out with the first red flag. The guys who did my quote told me “life time warranty” which is what made me go with them at first. Then the day of signing the paperwork he says “I was wrong I can possibly get you a ten year”. Well my roofs leaking and hopefully I won’t be here in ten years so that’s fine. I’ll take it. Then I was told I would be put on the schedule within 2 weeks. For four weeks John told me it HAD to be 2 days of clear weather to do the job. Ok. Said he would call me never did. I had to keep calling to get anyone to call me back when they said they would. August, and John both said they would call me. Didn’t, made me call them. When they finally had time to get my roof done, it took them 5 hours to “complete” their 2 day job. That was a shocker to me obviously, because for four weeks I was told it HAD TO BE A TWO DAY JOB. Crew said they were done, all done. I was surprised but said ok. I agreed to half down and finance the rest. They took the remaining 3500$ before the office closed that day. Which is not what I agreed to. The owner said (when I brought it up to him) “no problem I’ll have the office call you and set it up” they never did. When I finally got home for the day and turned all the lights on. My ceiling is caving in. When I called and left a message letting them know there was damage. I received a call back from one guy who said “must’ve been their weight” and another said “we wouldn’t know the weight capacity of your roof”. I told him that one: your crew was put in danger because there isn’t enough education on the jobs you’re taking on (I live in a trailer), and two: one of your guys was aware that it was a risk. I pulled up my cameras and one of the crew members said before ever getting on the roo

  I am sorry this did not go as you expected, and I do not usually respond personally to reviews, but will this time. You were there the entire day and had no issues, no complaints of ceiling issues or anything. It was not until an unauthorized credit card was used to pay the invoice that there was a problem, also a request for credit after the fact was not allowed. I personally inspected your ceiling cracks even after I knew we were not getting paid and took photos of all of the water stains and the moisture in the cracks so bad that you can put your finger into them. Obviously, this ceiling damage is from moisture not stress. While speaking to you, you made the statement the place should be tore down the second you are done with it. I was not going to pursue this because I am extremely disappointed with my sales team for putting a job like this in production to begin with, I understand they like to help everyone especially someone that has so much water coming in, however, if you would like to proceed with your threat, I will be happy to proceed. Lastly, the 2-day process is one day of labor and one day of set.

  First and foremost: Your Mileage May Vary Additionally, this speaks nothing of the gentlemen who did the work; they were professional the entire time and did quality work. The work completed was amazing, and generally speaking, the overall experience was positive. However, there was an incident where our internal ceiling was damaged during the work. The workmen acknowledged and let me know about it, as did the foreman. It was determined that we would make arrangements to have the ceiling repaired. ...and then they went no contact, other than begging for our review. Multiple calls were made and voicemails left, multiple texts were sent, and all were left ignored until we received an email begging for this review from JoAnna Judy, the Chief Operating Officer, with her office number on it. We called her and spoke with her regarding the situation, one that she was unaware of, and said she would return our call that evening. We are technically still waiting. Roughly a week and a half or so later, we received a call from someone who said they had been trying to get ahold of us, but were refusing their call. We have voice mail, we have caller ID, and there was no call, other than that current one, received since the roof was replaced. He told us to call another guy, and he would coordinate the replacement of the ceiling. We called him and had the ceiling repair scheduled within a week, as well as the repair being completed. Again, the workmen were amazing and did fine work. Overall, this is a good company, they offer financing and were happy to answer any questions and were, except for the outlying situation, fine to work with. One just has to hold them accountable for what they say after the work is done.

  Outstanding service in the middle of a clean up from a tornado! They responded so quickly and immediately got me a quote and were out to perform the repairs almost instantly! They did an awesome job and fixed everything in a few hours. I was beyond impressed and am so thankful! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

  We had major storms in our area. They were able to get out quickly to quote our job. The explained the options and we got a good deal. The crew arrived on time and got to work. The job was completed quickly and a great job! The cleanup was super, left a great impression!

  Discount Roof was a pleasure from beginning to end. Cole performed our estimate, and was incredibly thorough with the assessment of our roof. Work was scheduled and performed very quickly, and the crew who came out were fantastic. Ray and Luis were friendly and answered any questions readily. As a first-time homeowner, the whole team made this process very smooth. After work was completed, I ran a magnet through the yard and only turned up a handful of nails- considering my old roof like had tens of thousands of nails, I was very impressed. I absolutely will do business with them again.

  After experiencing a near hit Tornado for the first time in my life. I asked a friend for suggestions who really got hit in Lake Village IN, she suggested Discount Roofing so we set up an estimate with them. Mr. Alec arrived and did a thorough inspection. Found many imperfections due to the strong wind and hail damage that came with the Tornado. He explained everything in full detail. After I approved their service and obtained a check from my insurance company. My insurance made it complicated for me to cash the check as they wanted my mortgager to endorse it as-well by having me send check to them in California and wait who knows how long for it to get done. I informed of situation to Alec of Discount Roofing. He immediately took responsibility and said they will take care of it. He did take care of it alright! Because within 2 weeks I had worker putting on a new roof. They use high quality material and offer lifetime warranty aswell. In addition they add tarp on the ground to catch all garbage and nails that may fly off roof. Cleaning up well as if nothing happened. I am extremely satisfied with their work and now my house looks yet the best in the neighborhood….AAAAA++++
