  Absolute crooks. Avoid this company for your roofing needs. They took advantage of my retired mother and refuse to fix mistakes they made. Multiple roofers outside this crooked organization looked at the down spout that they had to remove in order to complete the roof and they all said it was installed backwards with a missing piece. Now because they took no pictures of the before or after of the specific area, they are trying to strong arm her for an additional $700 to fix “THEIR OWN MISTAKE”. Absolute garbage. Avoid this company at all costs.

  I will not recommend this company. Don’t be misled by their name and amount of years in business. They subcontract the job to other companies. It took one guy a week to finish my roof and big mess left every day.

  ⚠️ Avoid Advanced Roofing! They subcontracted my job (2008/2009) without telling me, left nails all over my property, and my “new” roof leaked in three spots soon after. When I complained, they blamed it on “harsh winters” instead of fixing their work. Even the BBB couldn’t help. Save yourself the stress—go with a reputable roofer. Will be adding photos once I get them from the roof inspector

  We do not recommend Advanced Roofing and regret hiring them to replace our cedar roof with rubber shakes. Here are the key reasons: 1) Major oversight on roof ventilation: The most serious issue was the improper installation of roof vents. Our contract specified an additional 5 vents to our 3 existing vents to meet code requirements (so 8 vents in total) but only 3 were initially installed. The roof inspection checklist incorrectly stated there were eight vents installed. We only discovered the missing vents through our own review of drone photos and flagging this oversight. This severely damaged our trust in their work. 2) Poor communication after signing: We received a lower quote from another company that included more upgrades, but we went with Advanced Roofing because we appreciated how thorough and communicative Chris, the lead estimator, was. Unfortunately, the communication from Advanced Roofing dropped off a cliff after we signed the contract. We had read reviews mentioning poor scheduling, lack of communication, and subpar cleanup, but Chris reassured us that those wouldn’t be issues. In hindsight, we should have trusted the reviews. We were handed off to Gil, the operations manager, who did not respond to our emails or keep us informed during the installation. His first appearance was an unannounced visit to our house to collect the final payment. We understand that it states in the contract that payment is due upon completion of the room, but this felt abrupt and unprofessional, especially as he did not attempt to address a concern we had previously raised through email. We also had to remind him about an Euroshield inspection, which we had discussed with Chris, had not yet been scheduled. Gil seemed unaware of this but agreed to arrange it, further highlighting internal communication issues.Afterward, when we followed up with Gil about the inspection and shared other concerns, he tried to address them, but the response felt slow and dismissive. 3) Un

  Update: Eagle Eye Roofing was sent out to fix the trim and it looks great now - Kelly was knowledgeable and efficient. It's unfortunate that I had to post a public review in order to get a response. Original post: The work was subcontracted out to Sargeant's Roofing and it was completed quickly in one day but there was trim missing in several places so the plywood was exposed. I had to call Gil at Advanced Roofing a couple times to get Sargeant's back to the house to fix the trim. However, Sargeant's didn't bring enough trim so they took the trim from one part which was hard to see from the ground and then left that part uncovered. I called Gil to complain but he never returned my call. The experience was severely disappointing.

  they did not clean after themselves very well and now we have black spots all over the concert on the deck and around the house, the eavestrough have black spots as well.

  I tried to remove the one star because I don't even want to give one star. Waited all day yesterday for a repair on my leaking roof, I even called to check and make sure we were still getting a repair man coming, and was told they were coming,no one came, no one called!! What a shoddy way to run a business!!! Now it is New Years Eve and my repair will have to wait until the 3rd of January.

  Had the company come and remove snow from our roof during the winter. The snow was dumped onto our neighbors yard ( both sides with some damage to their trees and property ). The window wells were filled with the removed snow and not cleared as we were told they would be. And a heating coil on our roof was pulled from its location. We were offered a discount for the problems but declined only requesting the coil to be put back in place and no one showed up after our request. Now we are having to hire someone to check our coil. Just ended up being more costly since we had to fix issues that was damaged, when we were just trying to prevent problems.

  Advance roofing did my roof a few years back with all the rain and the wind. I've had a bit of a leak. There were no issues they came right out and fixed the problem. Did an excellent job. Anthony was went above and beyond making sure everything was OK. Definitely will recommend them and definitely will get them again. Buy that man a beer or give a bonus ✔️👍

  Advanced Roofing was great!! Anthony came out to my home and diagnosed the source of my leak and fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. He inspected my attic and well as my shingles. Anthony gave me real piece of mind knowing my roof is in great shape. I would highly recommend them.

  5 stars for Advanced Roofing Systems. They re-did the asphalt shingles on my very outdated garage roof, and installed two vents as requested. Chris Allard was great to deal with when quoting, scheduling and following up, and John/Marc were fantastic with both the install and clean up. Pricing was very solid (better than a few others I had gotten quoted by), and the warranty on workmanship is fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone in Edmonton and area.
