  Regret hiring this company. Don't know how to correctly shingle at my wood stove chimney. Every time I use my wood stove I am reminded of the poor workmanship when the chimney expands with the heat a loud screech is let out. How would you like to live with that?? This chimney was not put back in correctly. It's out crooked and can be seen from the ground looking at it. The lies I was told why was the icing on the crappy attitude and attention to detail.

  Worst home improvement experience I have ever had in 22 years of home ownership. Above Roofing does not even have a roofing crew, they have the lowest bidder or sub-contractor they can find come and do the work. The job that was done was so bad it took them 8-12 more trips and crews to fix the siding they ruined, redo the flashing that was horrible, fix the downspouts that were completely wrong, refoof 1/3 of the garage to get the shingles in a straight line, replace the window flashing that they ruined, and replace the siding they did wrong and just nailed back on to the house. It was stressful, sad, disappointing, and lacked integrity. Their sales pitch about how they cost more because they do a better job is a lie.

  Not recommended. Without even getting on my roof to do a proper inspection I was told that my skylight was beyond repair and would need to be replaced or ripped out and roofed over as a less costly option. I'm not sure how they could tell that just by looking at it from the inside of my house without getting on the roof.

  Samuel, We understand your frustration that your skylights were not able to be repaired. We are skylight specialists and although our estimator did not get on the roof (snow and ice caused safety issues), based on his experience and the type of skylights you have it was determined that the only way to ensure a leak-free solution would be to replace the skylights or, for a less expensive option, eliminate them altogether. I would recommend getting a second opinion for your peace of mind.

  We chose Above Roofing for a full roof replacement on our home, which is about 25 years old. Overall, we were happy with the end-to-end experience, including the estimation process, the informational materials, pre-planning experience, and day-off installation (completed in a single day). Above Roofing wasn't the absolute cheapest, but in our evaluation of a few companies they earned our trust with quality of their materials and experience, which felt differentiated. I also leveraged ChatGPT to help us review multiple quotes and understand differences of quotes, including quality of materials. Two points of opportunity -- 1) during the quote process, it would take 2-3 days for replies to my questions whereas I was craving a next-day response; 2) the marketing materials showed that a differentiator for the company was the use of an "Equipter" which is basically a dumpster that raises to roof level to minimize debris across your yard and damage to landscaping. We reviewed our cameras and this is not how the device was used for our install, they merely used it as an on-the-ground dumpster which caused unnecessary damage to plants in the front. When asked about it we kind a kind "sorry" but that was it.

You had a reasonable expectation based on what we communicated, and our response when you brought the concern to us should have been more meaningful than simply saying we were sorry. We take that feedback seriously. Thank you again for recognizing what we did well while also giving us an opportunity to improve. Feedback like this helps us become the different breed of roofer we strive to be.

  Nalin and Ross did a great job on the gutters, and the roofing team did an impressively fast and great job on the roofing. Fast, friendly, and efficient. Definitely recommend for gutter repair or replacements, or roofing.

  Repair was made to roof. Hopefully they found the cause of our leak which they believe was around the flashing of the chimney.
