  I hired A1 Roofing to complete the siding on my home, and unfortunately, I now have serious concerns about how this project was handled and the lack of communication afterward. The existing siding was believed to potentially contain asbestos. My understanding was that the new vinyl siding would be installed over the existing siding rather than unnecessarily disturbing it. After the project was completed, particularly after several heavy rains, I began finding broken pieces of the old siding throughout my property, including my yard and landscaping. I subsequently had a piece professionally tested, and the laboratory result identified the material as containing 5% asbestos. I emailed A1 Roofing directly about my concerns and provided pictures showing the siding debris I found around my property. As of the time I am writing this review, I have not received a response to that email. That is extremely concerning to me. I am not talking about a minor cosmetic complaint. I am asking the company to address why asbestos-containing siding debris was left around my property after their work and what will be done to make sure the property is properly inspected and cleaned. I have documented the debris, photographs, laboratory results, and my communications regarding this situation. I would much rather have A1 Roofing communicate with me and resolve this appropriately than have to continue pursuing the issue elsewhere. For now, I cannot recommend A1 Roofing based on my experience. I will update this review if the company responds and based on how they handle the situation from this point forward.

  I had another roofing company over to do my inspection. An A1 truck pulled in front of my house and the guy knocked on the door and asked what part of the process I was in and I told him im already working with someone as he can see but he would not leave my house after telling him multiple times im working with someone else. What nerve do you have to come knock on my door while im in the middle of an appointment with someone? Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The guy clearly got mad that I would not entertain him and gave me a dirty look after. Ive also heard nothing but bad things about this company and then this happens to me and just confirms it!

  Terrible company. If you care about your house at all don’t call these people. Found storm damage said they could repair it. They ripped shingles off my roof to find a match “ right in the middle, not even in the spot where the damage was” …

  My daughter and I had a very concerning experience with Culley (sp?) from A1 Roofing. Instead of providing a fair and professional inspection, they attempted to remove shingles, damage my roof and encouraged me to file an insurance claim with AAA. This felt dishonest and made me very uncomfortable. I tried to call the office but no one will return my call. I expect honesty from a roofing contractor, and unfortunately, that’s not what I received here. I cannot recommend them.

  I had my roof done at 40 Nicole road New Britain My roof is leaking above the sliding door in the back of my house they came they said it's not leaking they're trying to say it's an old leak My roof was not leaking before it was replaced they also replaced 12 pieces of plywood they use particle board which I guess they say is what they use now. We had a shingle left on the power line on the side of the house we still have nails and pieces of shingles on the yard this job was done in December and we're still finding nails and pieces of shingles we were promised there wasn't going to be one nail on the property someone soul job was to pick up nails and pieces of shingles and wood etc from the property I have a 6-year-old daughter what happens when she walks outside barefoot this summer and steps on a nail Where's advice to whoever's going to hire them keep on them when they come to do the job make sure they don't leave until they pick up all those nails I had people come three times to pick up nails I think that's a little ridiculous just had to give my opinion but I do love the color of the new roof

  Not happy with this company. I think they're unprofessional. My daughter had a roof done today. And she picked out a color off the book, and then they came 2 days later with an actual piece of the color,, this company did not do that. I am totally unsatisfied with the job they did on my roof.

  Not a good experience with this company, I've been trying to reach them for weeks and they don't return my calls. The price was very high as well so I do not recommend them at all. They send there salesmen up on you roof and then try to get you to submit an insurance claim.
