  I am not a client but my neighbor next door had work so I unfortunately had an experience with the company and it was not positive. I have a front yard fence that is solely on my property line that the owner knows I paid for and it’s on my side and it’s not an issue. But the workers kept placing roofing material on my fence, against my fence when I asked them not to. In addition, materials from the roof repeatedly ended up in my yard and in my walkway.

  I scheduled a 12pm-1pm roofing estimate with Krystal. Even double confirmed 2 days prior (via text). Took off from work (Friday) for the estimate. I called her at 1:30/ no answer, no call/no show. I'm livid!!!

  READ YOUR CONTRACT. PRICES MAY CHANGE WITHOUT "0" NOTICE. Recently, my roof, bathroom ceiling, and hallway suffered damage from the storms in September. I filed an insurance claim and began searching for professional services. I was referred to 1st Amazon, a Black female-owned company, and after reviewing their online feedback, I decided to support them. I was given an estimate and a proposal. Since the roof and ceiling were severely damaged, I wanted the repairs done as soon as possible, so I accepted. I expected a seamless process; however, it turned into a frustrating experience. What was supposed to be a 1-3 day project turned into a month of stress and delays. After accepting the proposal, I didn’t hear anything for about a week and had to reach out to get things moving. Once I paid the deposit, work began the following week. The crew was late on the first day, but they were polite and respectful, and Krystal (the owner) was attentive. Unfortunately, I soon learned that one of the contractors had fallen through my roof, causing additional damage to another room. Personal property was also damaged, and Krystal assured me I would be compensated for my missed work time and damaged items. Later, she then offered to waive the $1,740 for the initial interior work in the proposal in addition to fixing the new damages they caused to make me even. To avoid further delays, I agreed, figuring this amount would cover my lost time, damages, and overall inconvenience. The following day, the crew was supposed to arrive in the morning to repair both the initial interior damage and the new damage caused by the contractor. I took another day off work, as I was told someone needed to be home. However, no one showed up, and when I reached out for an ETA, I was informed they would not be coming. I was then told they’d arrive the following day between 1-2 p.m., so again, I left work early to meet them—but again, there was no call, no show. When I followed up, Krystal said they’d

  We received your Deposit on the 16th Wed. Project was scheduled & began on the following Monday 21st. & was completed on 29th. Which it had to be completed in stages. If there was any questions in the contract I wished you would have asked them it would have been explained to you as I kept in touch through the entire course of your Project. I also explained if there was something we needed to work out, I was open to discuss that as well. I'm sorry you feel the way you do.   Zero stars for them but could not give zero. They were supposed to come within a two hr window to give an estimate of work required……they never came, did not send a text, call or send an email to explain the holdup. They were all pertinent information for contact but did not utilize it. That is not good business etiquette.

  Wish I could give 0/5 stars. Company said they would come by one day, they called and said they would come the next day and never showed up. They didn’t even have the decency to call us to tell us they weren’t showing. I canceled plans to make sure I was home when they were gonna come. DO NOT USE WORST COMPANY EVER

  I had a great experience with First Amazon Roofing. They came out, thoroughly inspected my roof, and took care of several issues, including nail pops, replacing damaged shingles to match the existing roof, and repairing two vent boots that were causing leaks. The team did an outstanding job from start to finish. What I really appreciated was the communication — they sent photos of the crew working and pictures after the job was completed, which gave me peace of mind knowing everything was done right.   The natural element of wind blew part of the Ridge Vent off my roof. I was referred to Krystal Walker with 1st Amazon Roofing & More. She responded the very next morning after contacting her. Her foreman Daniel was on time, pleasant, and went right to work evaluating the damages. The process of getting the estimate with itemization, completing the repairs and getting the invoice was all so quick. They made the resolution of a stressful situation so easy and seamless.
