  I purchased my home in December 2021, with a brand new roof that had been installed by Yavapai Roofing. The roof began leaking around the chimney through the back porch with the first heavy rain in 2022. Yavapai Roofing owner Doug sent workers who, instead of removing shingles to find the source of the leak and replacing them, applied a thick coat of sticky black tar around the base of the chimney. I had not approved of the application of tar, which was applied sloppily, splashed on the chimney stucco. The repair looked awful, but Doug insisted it was an acceptable job. He refused to remove the tar and fix the roof, offering only to paint over the tarry mess. With the first big rain since, my 2 year old roof is leaking again in exactly the same location. At this point I can’t trust Doug to make right on the roofing repair, and have no option but to find another roofer who will clean up the mess and repair the leak. To the problems with workmanship I have experienced, avoid using this company for a new roof or repair.

  Had my roof totally replaced. Had to give 50% up front. Took many weeks to start and 2 to 3 months to complete. Now nearly every time it rains my roof leaks. Yavapai Roofing has been out numerous times to repair but they never seem to get it right. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

  Would not recommend this place to anyone for anything. Google the name of the owner. Then google the contractors license. Who is the actual licensed contractor here???? His MOM???? Do the people working there bot know this or are they just okay with it? Birds of a feather and whatnot. 0/10.

  It was Friday after 2:00, Valentine's Day, AND the start of a long weekend when I heard the dreaded "drip, drip, drip."" Carl was awesome - came over and diagnosed the problem. It had to do with the new heater I had installed (on the roof). He took photos and edited them to highlight where the leak was coming from so I could send to the company who installed it. He also offered to come back and be there when they come to examine the situation. I could not be more grateful!! Thank you! UPDATE: The company come out to fix it and Carl was there to offer his expert advice. He came back after they completed the work to check it for me (again, so grateful because I am not getting back up on the roof - PLUS, I would have no idea how to assess the work). He offered to come by after the next big rain to check for leaks to give me peace of mind. Many thanks to a company who cares. When I need a new roof, I know who I am calling!
