  TL;DR: Actual Roofers themselves did a fine job, the price and scope of work left a lot to be desired compared to other roofers. They redid my roof. Sadly, I didn't research as much as I maybe should've. They bid about $3000 higher than 2 other quotes i had received (one of which was also a GAF certified roofer offering the same certifications). After I signed, then they would not price match for some lame reason or even consider lowering the cost or including doing drip edge flashing which the other company offered to do at the lower price. Come to find out as well, they did not recommend it or consider installing drip edge flashing when I didn't have any at all on the roof which i wasn't aware of. When the roof was off i could definitely see some fascia rotting and damage, so I get to do that myself now instead of when it's easiest or correct to do with the roof off.... The actual roof itself seems to have been done well, which for the price it better have been. but I can't help but feel I overpaid and was underdelivered...

  I regret that I recommend this roofer to my son for an active leak repair. He was told by the company estimator/ project manager that the existing roof was fairly new, in good shape and could be repaired. Following an initial failed repair attempt, the project manager stated that he was bewildered by the continued leaking but had his crew make a second “Repair” at an additional cost, rudely telling my son that he was giving him a great deal. Unfortunately $3600 later, following a period of mitigation, months of aggravation and more rain, the roof continues to leak in the same locations as well as others. Completely dissatisfied by the workmanship as well as the perceived ineptitude and condescending behavior of the project manager my son has decided, against my advice, to accept the monetary loss. He will hire another company to replace the entire roof.

  Misdiagnosed the problem and still charged me a reduced price for the work that didn’t stop my roof from leaking. First time homeowner, I really needed someone who could use their experience to advise me on the best course of action.

  They installed the roof on my new house. It is now leaking and they told me it only has a one-year warranty since it is new construction and since it has been two years I should “call a handyman.” Ridiculous

Due to our current lead time for repair quotes, our kind receptionist did suggest calling a handyman, but you rudely hung up before she could finish reviewing options with you.   Sadly, I am amending my review of a year ago. Two areas on my roof that had been placed by WT Anderson started to leak. Why? Lack of adequate flashing and protection around roof pipes. It takes a while for leaks to manifest in house ceilings. With one leak I called Anderson and even though the ceiling damage was right under the repaired area, I was told that I needed to call when it was raining...and even though the ceiling damage was evident. The other leak manifest in a different area of the house near vent pipes. I'm so disappointed because the owner, May Anderson, seemed so reputable. After the "call me when it leaks" comment made by a staff person, I decided to have repairs made by another company. I wish I could say I trust Anderson, however, after these two unfortunate events, I don't. I would recommend anyone using their services, have their work inspected after the job. Perhaps that extra step will ensure correctly done work without the need for future repairs.

  Ms. Williams, According to our notes, have not heard or spoken to you in regards to the roof repairs since they were completed in December 2017. Then, we did gutters for you in 2018. We can assure you that we would of replaced the necessary flashing in the areas we repaired if needed. We would sincerely appreciate a call to review this matter.

  W.T Anderson has thives working for them. They did work at my apartment complex and they stole my ladder and some of my scrap metal. Nobody's calling me back or even cares. No respect.

We have NOT received a call or email from you (even 2 weeks after your original post), but we would like the opportunity to review and discuss this matter. Our office number is 757-816-9203. We've NEVER been accused of stealing in the 21 years of business so we don't take this matter lightly. Again, we would like to speak with you at your earliest convenience. *For the public, we have reached out to several property manager's who we have done work for this year and no one is aware of this situation.   Trust Me you do not want to use w t Anderson all of the good reviews I can't believe. Actually I made complaint to BBB months ago and I don't see it any where I initially required about w t Anderson to BBB which I always read reviews. I bought a new roof and 5 inch gutters with leaf guard and after the very first Rain I emailed the company because during the rain and after the rain there is a waterfall at the front of the house and an even worst water fall at the back door I use to be able to sit out side at the front door doing a rain not any more; the company has been out on Seven repair occasions and believe me it only makes it worst. I told the company to come out on a dry day and use my water hose to see my concerns. Why didn't the company think to do that??? The supervisor came out SAW my concerns apologize to me and took pic and set up another repair date and said that he would send a bag of dirt to fill up the hole that was caused from the water fall. I'm trying to keep my property up and they took my cash to tear it down. Being that they have been out SEVEN times adjusting the same screws and now they are rusting and rust running down the down sprout. I can't imagine all the holes. They replied to BBB to do 6 inch gutters and take off the leaf guards. What a joke all the trees I have on and near my property You can see the water fall and at the back and the front look down at he can by the chair. they keep sending the same crew every time to do the repair the same crew that installed. Either the crew or product unacceptability.

After the water test, we found that the main roof facet on the rear valley has a large amount of water draining in the gutters. With the new 6" gutter in the back not fully catching all of the water, we would like to add a scupper box to the back.   My Wife and I decided to replace our siding on the whole house, re-trimmed the windows, re-trimmed the house, as well as had soffits installed, light fixtures installed and a new patio sliding door installed. I would highly recommend WT Anderson for Siding and soffits for anyone who is looking to bring life to their home. All the office ladies made the process very streamlined and simple, they provided us with samples for siding and trim so we can choose the perfect color for our home. David was my estimator he was very professional, he took his time to look at my home and take pictures, and explained to me in simple terms each step of the project and what to expect moving forward after the estimation. The project manager Jazmine was very nice, she made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and maintained constant communication with us to ensure the job was going smoothly. She always contacted us before adding more needed plywood to make sure it was ok. She also helped me fix a last minute change I wanted the day the job started. And Finally the crew, Alex the lead installer and his crew were very professional, they cleaned up after each day they were done and the work they do is precise and professional, the attention to detail they put into their work is unmatched. If I need future work done to my home I will only use WT Anderson, from start to finish it was a peaceful, comfortable, and stress free experience.

  The work done on our house included siding, gutters, soffits, window and facia removal and replacement. Also low-e insulation wrap. We are extremely satisfied with working with the entire team at W-T Anderson. They do it right and made the whole experience easy.

  We had such a great experience with Tom Anderson and WT Anderson Roofing & Siding, and we can’t recommend them highly enough! After a really strong storm passed through Virginia Beach with sudden, heavy downpours, we discovered that rainwater had gotten into our roof and was pooling over our primary bedroom, eventually leaking into the room. Needless to say, we were pretty worried about what could happen if it wasn’t addressed quickly. Even though Tom was incredibly busy with other storm-related calls, he made time to come out the very next day and take a look. He was so nice, knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely focused on helping us. He found the issue and took care of the problem before it could lead to more serious, long-term damage to our home. We are incredibly grateful that Tom took the time to help us when he was already so busy. He went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you need roofing or siding work, we highly recommend Tom and WT Anderson.

  W.T. Anderson installed a QuietCool powered attic vent fan on my roof on July 10, 2026. The Project Manager on site (Hector) was extremely professional and helpful. He was ex-Navy, (Senior Chief Yeoman with dual warfare qualifications in Surface Warfare and Aviation Warfare) and spoke both English & Spanish perfectly. The lead Roofer, Efren, and his two helpers performed excellent work and did it safely! When I handed an envelope to Project Manager Hector containing a cash tip, he didn't look inside the envelope, but instead handed it directly to Efrin. A true class act! The first photo below shows Efren, along with two helpers, installing the fan, and the second photo is the view from the WT Anderson drone that Hector used to perform a final inspection. They also performed some minor shingle repair (at no extra charge). Thank You WT Anderson!

  I had WT Anderson and another roofing company come out to check out my roofing shingles and both companies said the roof was wearing prematurely. I had samples and pictures sent to Owens Corning and they denied the warranty claim. The roof was only 11 years old. I took pictures of my roof for my homeowners insurance and they asked for the receipt. I decided not to wait for a leak and I was impressed with WT Anderson and their products. Everyone at the office are very friendly and professional.
