I have known Robert for many years, and even as the roofing business has grown, one thing has stayed the same: his strong commitment to top-quality roofing work and high standards. My fianc? and I recently bought our first home in Berkeley, and we noticed a roof leak near the chimney. One call was all it took, and the issue was handled smoothly with no stress on our end. The crew was professional, quick, and fairly priced throughout the whole process. They explained the repair clearly, showed real skill with the roof and flashing work, and made sure everything was sealed up properly. Professional, fast, and affordable are the main things I look for in a roofing company, and this team delivered on all three. They are the only roofers I plan to call.

I needed a roof replacement and John was highly recommended, so I called William's Berkeley Roof Repair. I’m really glad I did. John took time to inspect the whole roofing system carefully and explained several problem areas I would not have noticed on my own, including damaged plywood and worn sections around the skylights. His recommendations were practical, easy to understand, and based on what the roof actually needed, with no pressure at all. The crew showed up early on the scheduled day and handled everything in a very professional way. They moved my porch furniture and pots, protected the landscaping, and took extra care to keep the work area organized. They replaced the damaged roof decking, installed new skylights, completed the new roof, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was finished. Everything looks excellent, and the workmanship really stands out. The price was fair, the communication was clear, and the whole process felt smooth from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in Berkeley who needs roofing work, roof repair, or a full roof replacement, and I would gladly call again for any future work on my home.

The roofing team that replaced the leaking section of our roof was efficient, professional, friendly, and respectful from start to finish. From the operations manager, Braden, to the foreman, Geoffrey, the field crew, and the office staff, everyone stayed attentive and focused on quality roofing work and customer satisfaction. They explained the repair process clearly, kept us updated on the progress, and made sure every part of the installation was handled with care. The crew also maintained strong job site safety and excellent cleanup practices throughout the project. We were very pleased with the workmanship, communication, and overall service, and we would gladly use them again for future roofing needs in Berkeley.

We chose William's Berkeley Roof Repair after meeting with several roofers in Berkeley about replacing our old roof so we could keep our homeowners insurance. It was not an active leak at the start, but we knew a full roof replacement was the right move. A lot of contractors gave us high-pressure sales talks and tried to push extra upgrades we did not need. Then Matthew came out, listened carefully to what we wanted, respected our budget, and gave us a straightforward roofing estimate without any sales pressure. Once the roofing project began, the crew was professional, hardworking, and easy to deal with. During the job, an unexpected rain shower came through and we noticed a little water getting in near the vent pipe area in the garage. We called Matthew right away, and he responded fast. A roofer arrived within minutes, got the situation under control, and put in a temporary fix to protect everything. The next morning, Matthew was back early to review the punch list, check the flashing and vent details, and make sure every remaining item would be handled properly. What stood out most was how attentive and responsible he was from start to finish. He stood behind the workmanship, followed through on the repairs, and made sure the finished roof looked great and performed the way it should. The whole experience turned into a very positive one, and we felt confident that the roof installation was done with care. We are completely satisfied, highly recommend this team, and have already had neighbors comment on how sharp and well-finished the new roof looks. Also, the crew doing the roofing labor worked incredibly hard and deserves real appreciation.

we hired a roofing team to replace the shingles on our home after storm damage, and the whole process went very smoothly. matthew, the project manager, was easy to work with, kept us updated, and was always available to answer questions about the roof replacement. he stayed on top of every step and made sure the job was handled the right way from start to finish. the roofing crew worked hard, paid close attention to detail, and took great care around our property. they protected the landscaping, kept everything covered neatly during the tear-off and install, and cleaned up thoroughly when the work was done. the new roof looks great, the shingles were installed with care, and the overall workmanship was excellent. we really appreciate the clear communication, professional service, and strong results. highly recommend this roofing company, and especially matthew for doing such a great job managing the project.

If you have any roofing problems that need repair, this is the right team to call. They were affordable, and the biggest reasons i chose them were how respectful, quick, and honest they were about what was actually needed to stop my roof leak. During the inspection, they explained the issue clearly and focused only on the necessary roof repair instead of trying to sell extra work like some other roofing contractors had done before. robert was the technician who came out, and he did a great job with the leak repair and overall service. In the warm CA weather, it was great to have a reliable roofer handle everything efficiently. i have his number saved for any future roofing needs, and i would definitely highly recommend them. very satisfied with the whole experience.
