i had some roof damage after a big storm and wasn’t sure where to turn. i reached out to my hoa for advice and got a few referrals. after comparing companies, i decided to go with oakland roof contractor - repair & install p.r.o. from the beginning, the team was helpful and guided me through every step. what stood out was how reliable they were—every appointment was kept, and all my calls or messages were answered quickly. i needed help picking the right shingle color for my home. someone from the team brought out samples and even made a display to show how different shingles would look with my house colors. the crew that installed the new roof worked professionally and kept the site clean. the finished roof looks amazing and actually turned out better than i expected. overall, they did an outstanding job and i’m really happy with their work.

When our roof started leaking after some heavy rain, we reached out to Oakland Roof Contractor - Repair & Install P.R.O. late on a Saturday night. They responded quickly and arrived at our home within just a couple of hours to repair the leak. We were so impressed with their fast and professional work that we decided to hire them to replace our entire roof shortly after. The new roof looks fantastic, and we've already noticed a drop in our energy bills, just like they said we would. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the quality of service and the results.

I can't say enough good things about this roofing company. One of their team members came out to my house, which I was planning to sell, and gave me a fair price to replace the whole roof. I liked that their crew actually used hammers to install the shingles instead of nail guns, which shows they really care about doing quality work. The whole roofing job went smoothly. The crew kept in touch and made sure I knew exactly when they would arrive. They finished re-roofing my 1800 square foot house in just a day and a morning, which was impressive. After the job was done, I kept an eye on the new roof for the next several weeks while the house was on the market, and it stayed perfectly dry—no leaks at all, even with the warm California weather. Later on, I noticed a small water line coming down from a vent in my new place. I called the roofer, and they came out the same day to check it out. They found that the vent had expanded over time, so they went up, sealed it with caulk, and made sure everything was secure. When I asked how much I owed for the repair, they told me there was no charge. You can tell this company really values their customers and stands by their work. They’re honest, straightforward, and do high-quality roofing. I’ll definitely use them for any roofing needs in the future.

oakland roof contractor - repair & install p.r.o. made getting our roof fixed an easy and pleasant experience. we needed a repair soon after moving into our new place in oakland. a roofer came by quickly, took the time to walk us through the roof issues, and explained everything in a way we could understand. we really appreciated that he only recommended what was truly necessary, unlike other companies that tried to push for extra work we didn’t need. the roofer arrived on schedule, was very professional, and gave us confidence that the repair would be affordable—and it was. we paid exactly what was quoted, with no hidden costs or surprises. the crew member who did the repair worked carefully, checked inside the attic to make sure the wood and trusses were all good, and left our property spotless when finished. you couldn’t even tell any work had been done. we’re definitely keeping this company in mind for any future roofing projects. after dealing with some other roofers who gave sky-high estimates, it’s a relief to find a trustworthy team we can count on. highly recommend for anyone in oakland needing honest and reliable roof work.

After we discovered mold in our attic, we soon realized it was caused by a leaky roof and some other issues. This left us confused by the different advice and prices we got from various contractors. Luckily, we came across Oakland Roof Contractor - Repair & Install P.R.O. Working with them made everything much easier during a stressful time. The roofer we worked with was knowledgeable and practical, always focused on providing both great roofing materials and excellent service. Unlike other companies that tried to pressure us into buying a whole new roof, they took the time to explain that only a section of our roof actually needed replacement. The newer part over our home’s addition was still in good shape, so we only replaced what was necessary. They also carefully checked which areas of the roof decking needed work, making sure we weren’t paying for anything extra. Besides putting in the new roof, the team helped us think about airflow and attic ventilation. They replaced our attic fan and removed an unnecessary ridge vent to make sure everything would work right. We also had them replace our gutters, upgrading from 4” to 6” gutters, which connected perfectly with our existing drainage. When we noticed a small drip along a tricky section of the roofline, they came back out and fixed it at no extra charge. We’ve checked everything during heavy rain, and the roof and gutters are holding up great—it’s a big improvement in both quality and craftsmanship. We’re really happy with the work and would recommend this company to anyone needing roofing services. We’ll definitely call them again for future roof repairs or upgrades.

We recently renovated our older home and needed some specialized roofing work done, including repairs to our slate roof and copper details. Since we aren’t living here full-time yet, it was important to find a roofing team we could completely trust. The crew did an amazing job using skilled, traditional roofing methods. Every person on the team was friendly, hard-working, careful, and kept the work area tidy. They repaired several slate sections, replaced all the copper fittings along the ridgeline, and completely fixed a leaking standing seam copper accent area. They also worked seamlessly with our other contractor to add new vents and repair some siding and decorative trim. On top of that, they custom-made and installed two matching chimney caps and finally solved some gutter issues that previous roofers couldn’t get right, making sure the gutters now work perfectly. For the first part of the project, we were able to be there in person, but had to leave before everything was finished. The roofer we worked with kept us updated the whole time with photos and videos, explaining every step, the materials, and timing. We always felt comfortable and informed, and all our questions were answered quickly. Slate roofs last a long time, but they still need regular checks and small repairs now and then. Before, we had worked with another roofing company, but over time their work and service dropped off, especially when it came to fixing our gutters. This new crew sorted out the problem quickly and even checked the whole gutter system to make sure everything was in great shape. The finished work looks better than we could have imagined, and everything functions perfectly—from the roof to the custom chimney caps that blend beautifully with our home. Our only regret is not calling this team sooner. We expect professionalism and quality work, and that’s exactly what we got—done right the first time, without having to supervise or follow up constantly. The true mark of a great ro
