  tanner, who manages the roofing team, and grant in the office have been wonderful. i took over the family home and the roof had originally been installed by a relative, which led to several ongoing roofing problems over time. after dealing with trouble around a flat roof section, vents, and the chimney, tanner carefully explained that patching each problem area would end up costing almost as much as a full roof replacement. we decided on a new roof, and it looked great right away. later, the flat roof section started causing concern again, and tanner recommended changing that area to a pitched roof so it would drain better and hold up longer in Virginia weather with heavy rain, summer heat, and seasonal storms. that made a lot of sense because i am getting close to retirement and wanted a long-term roofing solution instead of worrying about recurring leaks and repairs. the crew recently completed the work, improved the roofline, and the finished result still looks great with the rest of the house. brandon and the rest of the roofers worked efficiently, paid attention to detail, and did a thorough cleanup when the job was done. i really appreciate how helpful, honest, and responsive tanner and grant have been through every step of the roofing process.

  They installed a new roof on our home several years ago, and the whole roofing job was handled quickly and professionally. The crew was large, well organized, and clearly experienced with shingles, flashing, and all the important roof details. They finished the work in just one day, and the roof still looks almost brand new. At one point, I noticed a small issue near a roof penetration, and they responded right away and took care of the repair without any hassle. Since then, everything has held up great through regular weather, sun, and rain. Later, when I added a small overhang to one side of the house, I wanted to match the same shingles from the original roof install. Their team checked their records, found the exact shingle type, and even located extra material for me. They gave me what I needed at no charge and helped load it into my car.   We’re so glad we chose Williams & Sons Roofing & Remodeling. Our exterior project, including roofing-related trim work, soffit, fascia, insulation, and steel siding, was finished recently, and we are extremely happy with how everything turned out. The change to our home is amazing. This was a detailed job with a lot of moving parts, and David and Tanner did an excellent job handling the small details and keeping everything on track. They regularly shared helpful ideas to improve the final look and make the home look its best. Near the end of the project, Tanner really went above and beyond with the trim work around our large windows, finding a better way to match our vision within the material options available. That detail made a big impact on the appearance of the front of our home. Tanner and Grant also gave extra attention to the mounting details for the steel canopy, which added a perfect finishing touch. Their workmanship, care, and problem-solving throughout the project really stood out, and the finished result looks clean, polished, and professionally done. We are very proud of how our home looks now.

  If our insurance company assigns a roofing contractor to inspect or repair storm damage, you are in good hands. That happened to us after our home had roof damage. david came out to inspect the roof, give an estimate, and handle temporary repairs right away. brandon and david worked with the insurance company so the job covered more than a small patch, and we ended up with a full roof replacement instead of just fixing one damaged section. They also upgraded us from basic shingles to a stronger roofing shingle rated for high wind resistance at no extra cost. That turned out to be a great upgrade because after another major wind storm in Poquoson, the roof still looked great and had no issues. The roofing crew arrived on time, worked fast, and stayed organized through the whole project. Our older home has detailed roof lines and a small cupola, and they did excellent work restoring those areas, including repairs to the spire and painting to match. The cleanup was just as impressive as the roof work. The yard and driveway were left very clean, and they made sure stray debris was picked up before leaving. i only found one nail, which says a lot about how careful the crew was. grant and the team did a great job from the inspection to the final cleanup. i was very happy with the quality, the communication, and the way the whole roofing project was handled. the new roof looks great and gives us a lot more confidence during heavy rain, wind, and summer storms.

  When i reached out about a roof repair, i was on a tight schedule and needed the work done fast. david came out the same day to inspect the roof, explain what needed attention, and give me a very fair quote with a quick turnaround.   Williams & Sons Roofing & Remodeling did an excellent job replacing the full shingle roof on our large home, around 6,700 square feet, and also helped coordinate the new gutter system, upgraded materials, and color choices. brandon was very attentive to every detail, from roofing materials and flashing to the quality of the crew’s workmanship, and he also worked closely with our homeowner’s insurance to help keep the project moving smoothly. After each phase of the roof and gutter installation, he came by to inspect the finished work and make sure it met high standards. Throughout the whole project, brandon stayed in touch, answered our questions, explained each step clearly, and paid close attention to the smaller details that mattered. The roofing crew worked hard, kept the jobsite organized, and made the whole process much easier than we expected.   Williams & Sons Roofing & Remodeling installed the metal roof on our custom home, and it was a challenging roofing job. We have been very pleased with how the roof has held up over time. A small touch-up paint area on the metal roofing faded some after several years, but that was minor compared to the overall quality and performance. More recently, we called about repairs to gutters built into custom gutter boxes. It turned into one of the best experiences we have had with a roofing contractor in a long time. We got a fast response to our call, and David came out the next day to inspect everything and provide an estimate. The price was fair for the custom gutter repair work and matched what we expected for this type of roofing and gutter service. The crew started quickly, worked hard, and kept the job moving at a steady pace. Whenever a question or concern came up, David reached out right away so we could decide how to handle it. That level of communication gave us a lot of confidence throughout the project. In the end, we were very impressed with the workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail.   i want to thank Brandon and all the other crew members we worked with over the past several months. professional and awesome hardly seem strong enough to describe how they handled our roofing project. they showed up on time, kept the jobsite neat, and delivered quality roof work at a fair price. the new roof was installed smoothly, and when a major storm moved through, it performed extremely well with only a couple of ridge cap shingles needing attention. they quickly scheduled a follow-up visit and made the repair process easy. we were kept informed the whole time, and the team was friendly, skilled, and respectful. absolutely thrilled with the service, workmanship, and overall roof quality. highly recommend them for roofing services.
