  Whoever drives their company car needs to have their license taken away. They drove us completely off the freeway this morning with their aggressive swerving in and out of traffic. If you are going to be dangerous, aggressive, and road rage, you shouldn’t be doing it in a company car.

  considerably disappointed with the way vertex went about our quoting - after the free inspection was all complete, my husband and i were never sent the quote we were told to expect within just a couple days—at most. seth came out to our trailer, gave us a general price, but seemed VERY put off when my husband mentioned that he had a lot of past experience with the materials they were recommending for our roof. still, over a month and a half later, we have not been contacted or sent any quote. our experience trying to get a general price from the company left us fairly unimpressed.

  I'm sincerely sorry your were not completely satisfied with our services. We did our best to get your roof done as early in the spring season as possible to meet your stern request to not damage any of your spring flowers. Unfortunately, there is nearly always at least a 10-20% chance of rain that time of year, and although we took every precaution to keep your roof covered by having it completely dried in when we left for the night, the strong wind driven rain did allow some water in with the overnight storm that was not predicted by the weather station. However, as you mentioned, we paid for the paint repair without question. In addition, we did clean the stucco of the tar dust and we did reinstall your heat tape. We also told you that you needed new heat tape as the low quality heat tape that was on your roof was heat baked and was no longer able to be installed completely flat due to the memory the cable had taken. But you declined. Overall, you have a beautiful roof that will last for years to come! And we still appreciate your business.

  When we first decided on this company, they had mentioned their great reviews. Once we got under contract, they told us they could start in 3-4 weeks. BUT it took them almost 6 weeks to start on the roof. They did not reach out to us at all to provide any updates, and when we called, they brushed us off saying they had other projects. Once they finally started on the roof, things seemed to go ok. The workers left garbage and food leftovers in the front yard. They left materials around that went onto our neighbors property. We were told that they do a thorough clean-up including a metal detector for the nails. However, the clean up was left for a few days and we are still finding nails from them on our property. They did not put any of our patio furniture back when they were done, and left it in the yard. Overall, they are inconsiderate, unprofessional, not responsive. We would not recommend.

  Kara, we are so sorry you have felt you had a bad experience. We are sincerely sorry for the delay in starting your job. The wind storm in early september over ran our books with emergency repairs and roof replacements. This is not your fault, but we were certainly unexpectedly overwhelmed with customers with massive holes in their homes. Additionally, I understand your frustration with the clean up. I was also disappointed and that is why I personally spent the time I did cleaning up your property in detail and using it as a training example for our crew. At the end of our conversation it was my understanding you were very pleased with the roof job, and satisfied with the clean up after I was done. We gave you a discount on the balance and gifted you a gift card to help alleviate any sour taste in you or your husbands mouth. At this point, I'm not sure what else we can do. But if there is something, please let me know. It is extremely important to me to have happy and satisfied customers!

  Vertex Roofing doesn't offer free inspections as advertised on their website. They only offer free bids/quotes; it's very unfortunate.

  Mike, There may be a misunderstanding and I sincerely apologize if something wasn't explained to you clearly. The only time we charge is if you need a WRITTEN inspection report generally only needed for real estate transactions. We will absolutely come to your house and give you a free verbal inspection with a free estimate for repairs, replacement, or let you know you don't need anything at all. We HATE 1 star reviews!   Very Unhappy Customer. Don't waste your time or your money. Highly recommend you DO NOT use Vertex Roofing. They demanded 50% up front, then didn't show on the start date because they were on another project, then never fixed the roof correctly. Never again.

  My job was at the end of the November, 2017. Cody came over for an estimate and while Vertex was not the cheapest, Cody promised it would get started within two weeks which every other company was 4-5 weeks out. Cody delivered his promise and the roofers completed the project in three days. I was ecstatic and impressed with the final product. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up and everything looked awesome with the exception of one portion of my siding had been scratched and torn. I called Cody who came down and looked at it and said, "I can tell it happened by us because there are hand prints all over the area that was scratched." He said he would have it fixed. I jokingly said something to the effect of, "please don't let this be a thing that takes 4 weeks to get done since the job is basically done." I still hadn't paid the remain half but Cody promised he would take care of it which at this point he had an impressive track record. I regret this piece of the experience and something I have now learned as a homeowner. I paid Cody the final payment when the job wasn't done. A week later, I contacted Cody who said he was working on getting someone over. One month later, I contacted him again with the same response that he thought someone had fixed it and would get someone over to the house. One more month later, I texted Cody and he apologized and said he would get on it. One more month later, he apologized and Cody came over to take photos. One month and two weeks later, still nothing. Cody apologized again and came over and painted the siding. However, when I got home from work, the paint was so thin that from the ground all you could still see the aluminum rather than white siding...essentially looking the same as before. I went on the roof and saw the paint layer but also discover that the siding was actually torn and the large scratch of missing paint was due to the tear in the siding.   We are extremely happy with the amazing service and outcome that Vertex provide provided us with. From start to finish, their customer service has been absolutely on point. The project manager was extremely professional, kind and personable, and the Roofing crew was just as amazing. The Roofing crew had to scrape two layers of shingles off our roof, replaced two wooden panels, but it still took less than two days. They left my yard looking nicer than it looked before they even started. I was also very grateful at how many times they went over my lawn with their magnetic sweeper together stray nails. We received beds from multiple companies and settled on vertex. Not just because of the price, but because of the no pressure service they offered throughout. I would recommend them 1000 times over! My parents, two siblings, a neighbor, and coworker have also chosen to go with Vertex because of the attention to detail and service we have received throughout this process. A special shout out to Gavin, who has gone above and beyond from day one.

  I bid this job out to a few companies and they came in very well priced with high quality materials. I could tell that the crew that did the job knew what they were doing and I also went up on the roof to do a close inspection after the job was complete, and was impressed and could tell that they took care to make sure seams and joints etc, were done right. They also did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend Vertex to anybody based on my experience.

  The Vertex team did a spectacular job start to finish. I had gotten a roof inspection and an estimate for a metal roof from Gavin almost 5 years ago. I called him up this spring and got a quote for a tear off and replacement for asphalt shingles instead. Not only did Gavin beat every other competitor's price, workmanship, and material warranty, the install crew did a fantastic job. I have never experienced a crew that organized or that clean. From the office & production managers being in constant communication with me to Gavin & Chris stopping by after the install to inspect the work and search for any potential nails, the whole experience was a dream. Great Job Vertex Team!
